The person in issue comes from a less-than-ideal family background, but she says she wants to start a family of her own now. No one has any interest in her. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with her that would explain this; rather, the combination of her stunning good looks and privileged background makes her a highly improbable single. At the young age of twenty-five, she has decided to enter into a contractual marriage. There is, however, the unanswered question of whom she will choose for this function. She has numerous suitors who are eager to marry her, but she is looking for someone who would provide her with genuine emotional attachment as well. It's considered unreasonable to want to find someone who will adore you for who you really are. Her search for a man with similar attributes may be complicated by Christian, her helpful assistant. There is an abundance of irony in this circumstance.

As soon as Damien walks into the office, she calls for her secretary for help keeping track of all the newlyweds. Although there are many qualified male candidates, the winner of the tournament is still anyone's guess.

Christian, how do you evaluate these specific items? Damien calls his office to ask.

For for than eight years, Christian has been her secretary. Given the time frame, it's safe to assume that Damien has been running her business since she was a teenager. He is both a trusted confidant and an indispensable helper in her life. Christian, at age 26, has concluded that his chances of finding a female spouse are slim. This realisation has led him to shift his attention towards finding a suitable male companion. He says he hopes he doesn't start feeling romantically interested in her over time.

The exam is like a love letter, Damien. Each contestant must write a letter of love addressed to you personally, and the top four will move on to the quarterfinals. The applicant with the lowest-quality love letter but the highest professional aptitude will be hired. Christian shares his thoughts, and Damien nods in agreement.

It's an unusual approach, but the goal is to find an employee who won't get in any sort of sexual or intimate relationship with their boss.

Antagonism and affection.

Damien reads over the preliminary correspondence without showing any signs of irritation. The person reacts with a jovial laugh, satisfied that they have been heard. They now expect a simple denial. It's possible that she'll never get married if the remaining people are just like her. Like the friendship between our protagonist and her best friend, it is possible for them to fulfil their long-standing promise. Instead of looking through the letters, she decides to spend several hours reading a book written by Miss Mandy.

Do you happen to be joking? The worry in Jaden's voice was palpable as he asked.

Do I look like I'm doing it? Alexa's response lacked any hint of regret as she stated that our union was not meant, making the current outcome inevitable. The person's manifestations of emotion were as cold and distant as the ice they were dressed in, and their behaviour, which was already distressing, became even more so when they were directed at Jaden.

He was unable to fathom her motivations since he saw no clear point or justification in what she was doing. What were the considerations that led her to this conclusion? Unfortunately, she must unseal one letter due to events beyond her control. The second letter she opens prompts an immediate pang of guilt.
