CHAPTER THIRTY ONE

　　Damien sat hunched in his mini office as he paid keen attention to what Steve explained to him. He wondered how Annie had managed to figure everything out.

　　"How was she able to find him so quickly? She resigned from her job a few hours ago and now she found James"

　　"I'm surprised. She's smart though".

　　Damien shrugged and getting up he grabbed his shirt and made his way out of the office.

　　"Where do you think you're going?" Steve asked.

　　He gave him a look. "Two guesses, genius," he said.

　　"Don't tell me you're going after James all by yourself, they probably think you're dead. We have to let it remain that way until we make our move," Steve suggested. "I'll also advise you to remain indoors for now"

　　"I can't remain indoors forever. We need James to be able to find Ladybird before he leaves town"

　　"I'll have someone trail him until we find a way to apprehend him"

　　"And lose him or rather get him killed as you got Lucia killed before"
