"Huh?... What did you say?" Amani asked in confusion while looking intently at Nicholas, wondering why he was telling her about someone that got shot when they were talking about Leonardo

"Who did you say got shot again?" She asked again when he didn't answer her previous question.

She narrowed her eyes at him. When she saw he averted his eyes from hers instead of answering her question

"Are you by any chance talking about Leonardo? Please don't tell me he's the one that got shot!?" She asked in disbelief and her countenance slowly began to change from listless to the one of shock.

Nicholas didn't need to reply her. The answer to her question was clearly written on his gloomy face and the way he was avoiding to look her straight in the eyes. It was as if his words were just sinking into her brain when she gasped out loud with her hands over her mouth. Thinking to herself...

Leonardo was shot! He was shot multiple times!
