Mo Tang accepted a crystal flute champagne from a waiter, and they began scouring the room to ensure her step-monsters and father were not there.

Mo Tang took a sip of champagne and turned to look around. At that moment, her eyes spot Huo Yan and her stepsister Li Mei coming in, and behind them, her step-mother and her father followed.

They all put their mask as soon as they entered the mansion, but Mo Tang was able to spot them and so as Shai Fei.

"Ass hole, did he said he will wait for you at the blissful waterfall, what is he doing here with your step-sister?" asked Shai Fei

"I…. I did not know he knew Li Mai?" Mo Tang could feel her heartbreaking into thousand pieces. He was her boyfriend, they were together for five years, and tonight they were planning to make it official by sleeping together. But now, here he was intimacies with her stepsister.

She chucked down the entire glass of champagne and picked another one.

"stop it, he is not worth it, tonight is not about them." Said, Shai Fei

Mo Tang did not want to stay any minute here watching them get intimate, but because Shai Fei wants her to stay, she agreed, as she adjusts her mask to make sure it was on tight and no one could recognize her. The masked Mo Tang wore covered all her eyes, but Shai Fei covered the entire face. Therefore, they switched quickly in a dark corner of the room.

It was Shai Fei idea, since now her step-monsters, asshole boyfriend and father were in the charity party they will discover Mo Tang if she wears a mask that covers only her eyes.

Now Mo Tang mask covered all her entire face except for a little bit of her mouth and her pupils of her eyes. Her dress was dazzling black and was so tight in all the right places, with a beautiful full-face cover golden mask. She looked elegant and alluring with mysterious. Tonight, Mo Tang was planning to go free, free from them, and free from her miserable life and a cheating boyfriend.

No one would look at Mo Tang and say "oh hey there is Mo Tang" as she always wears loose and dull clothing. Hence, she was safe to act as she, please. She picked her third glass of champagne within three minutes they were there. Shai Fei wanted to stop her, but then again, she understands how it feels to be cheated and been robbed all her happiness, so she let Mo Tang drown her sorrow with champagne as she keeps a close watch.

A lot of people dressed exotic and classy. Many of them were married as they attended with their wife in a match clothe while others attended with their mistresses, girlfriends. Everyone was here to show off their wealth as well as to enjoy the mysterious the masquerade bring to their life.

Mo Tang reached for her fourth glass from the waiter who was passing by carrying only one glass left when a hand that was big and strong than hers also grabbed the same glass.

Mo Tang jerked her head up and was met with most beautiful light brown eyes behind the simplest black mask that blended well into his curl black hair. His lips were full, his jaw strong, and there was no ring on any of his fingers. He smiled as he displays his amazing dimples leaving Mo Tang fought the urge to shiver and melt while losing her grip from the glass. Which he took it and walk away. She felt unattractive the moment he left without a word. Her boyfriend left her for her step-sister, and now a total stranger who happened to be single also left her without looking back at her.

This show how unattractive she was as she drifted through the crowd and grabbed a downed glass of champagne and then picked two glass and walked outside to drink.

His eyes never left Mo Tang the moment he walked into the charity party. He came with his family as they were nagging him to attend, but he wanted to bring his girlfriend, which his family refused to acknowledge her. They never liked her, in fact, they were happy if he stays single than marry her.

But his sad mood was brightened up when he spots Mo Tang. Her body that succumbs to catch his stare and making his manhood act into her command, and her beautiful long black hair caught his eyes. She had an aura that was full of mysterious as he watches her drink glass after glass. He could tell she was sad and wanted to drown herself in alcohol. Without realizing he was standing in front of her grabbing the same drink as she did. And when he gazed into her dull sad eyes, he could not help but want to ease that sadness as he felt his phone vibrating. He picked the glass and walked outside, leaving her behind.

When he was done with his phone call and was planning to go back to the event, he saw Mo Tang walking towards his direction as she was drinking from each glass one at a time. His heart nearly stopped as he realized she was coming toward him. Before he knew it, she was in front of him as she tosses the last glass, those eyes burned deep into him as she came to a halt a foot from him. He could smell the sweet Moroccan jasmine scent that filled his senses and sent him floating a foot off the ground.

He never felt this way for anyone before, not even his girlfriend.

"Do you want to get out of here?" was the first thing he could say. His voice was deep and husky at the same time, shaking. He was even surprised with himself how his voice sounded. He was panicking as if this was first time talking to his long-time crusher. Mo Tang eyes softened as she nodded her head. she made her way through the parking lot as he followed her behind.
