6 A marriage of Convenience

Wei Lang could not believe it. She agreed to his condition, and most importantly, she decides to be his fake wife. He could feel that lady luck was finally smiling at him.

A marriage of convenience that what this is. He clears his throat as he continues.

"You will need to end any employment you have, as you will be my wife." he pauses waiting for her to refuse or say something to object. But when she did not react. He continues, "But I promise that you will receive an even better job than you currently have. If you do not have any objection to all these, from now onward, I will consider you as my wife, and during this period, I hope you will not have any outside relationship other than me. And I will also be faithful to you during this period. And once I inheritance my grandpa wealthy, we can go our separate ways with no legal action needed to be taken."

"Ok hubby," was her reply as she continues to drink her sprite.

Both Yang Yang and You Lee stood there like a statue they could not believe that just within a few minutes, they both seal the deal. Yang Yang could not believe that this beautiful woman has agreed to be in a fake relationship with his best friend.

He was having a mixed feelings toward the whole situation. On one side he was happy for his best friend, but on the other hand, he was sad that this beautiful woman not only was she having cancer, but she agrees to be in a fake relationship, how messed up was her life, that she was desperate to run away from.

"Let me the first person to congratulate the new bride and groom" You Lee life his glass of alcohol. They all bring their glass together plus the sprite soda can and cheers.

As they all took a sip of their drink. Mo Tang felt nauseated as people were coming in the club, and the different scent was spreading to her nose.

She wanted to throw up as she dashes to the restroom leaving the three-men glue to the direction she ran to.

"What just happened?" asked You Lee.

Even though You Lee had not yet realized he had already considered Mo Tang as his sister-in-law and his worry over her was shown all over his face as he stood up from his barstool and ready to head to woman washroom.

Yang Yang and Wei Lang stopped him. "she just went to vomit," they both said at the same time.

"Why?" You Lee asked

"Did you forget that she has cancer?" replied Wei Lang as he stood up. "I am going to check up on her" he continues

"I am coming with you. I know you do not have any caring in your body," replied You Lee.

"I am also coming," Said Yang Yang as he called one of his workers to take the role of bartender.

Wei Lang could not believe it. Was he the one who was in a fake marriage or them? As he shakes his head and walked towards woman washroom.

"Mo Tang, are you OK?" he knocks the washroom as he called for her. He waited for a while but no reply.

He called again and still no reply. For the first time in twenty-five years. He panicked, as he completely forgot about the fact that this was a lady's washroom as he dashed in.

Yang Yang and You Lee also followed without hesitation.

At once they saw Mo Tang collapsed next to the toilet sink. You Lee and Yang Yang wanted to run and carry her, but Wei Lang beat to them as he lifts her and brings her in his arm with the trace of her vomit leaving it print on his expensive suit. Wei Lang walked out of the club to his car. Both Yang Yang and You Lee, followed him as they head to the hospital.

In these few minutes they all grew to like Mo Tang, and they are not willing to lose her. Not now and not ever as both You Lee and Yang Yang made silent promise to themselves. If only they knew the reason she collapsed has nothing to do with cancer.
