I head out of the bathroom and sit in front of my vanity and start doing my hair which I succeed in doing in a high ponytail. I head out of my room and go towards the elevator, in that same moment a cute guy, I do not know steps out of a room.
He smiles at me and I return the smile, and he introduces himself " Hi, I believe we have never met before, I am Caleb Valentino. Nice to meet you,". So just maybe I am having one too many crushes.....
Present.....
Ohk. Let me ameliorate his description for you. He has Jet black hair, with aqua blue eyes, chiselled jawline, not many muscles, and just really cute lips.
I mean, he isn't a bad boy, I can clearly see that, he is more of a nerd, with em glasses and his weird nerdy outfit. He also has a computer in hand and a book. So am guessing he is a nerd.
I officially have a crush on a nerd. I facepalm. Mr.Caleb looks surprised at my action and says with a British accent, "Miss, I believe that it is wrong to beat yourself, especially in such a place, your face."
He says and his voice still sounds sort of surprised. I smile, "My name is Aria, Aria Valente, so no more calling me, Miss, Call me Aria V." He smiles at me and I swear at that moment he looks like a player. His smile o his smile and I sound like a fan girl. I can bet my facial emotions are wierd right now.
I am on the third to floor by the way. We step into the elevator cause we just realize we have been standing at the elevator for the past 3 minutes introducing ourselves awkwardly.
He then says very awkwardly, "er, if my hands werent so full, I would have shaken yours..." I can't help but let out a giggle at that. He is really trying to make a conversation here.
"Hey, do u watch Shield?" Cause literally that is the first thing that comes to my mind. "Oml, yh, yh I do, who is your favourite character, hold that thought let me press the floor we are going to".
He presses 5th floor and we start going down. "Yh, My favourite character is May, Like totally so badass," I say gesturing with my hands how much I like that character.
He laughs and says, "I guess I am more of the bad guy then, Cause I love-" He stops midsentence at stares at the door. So I look towards the elevator door and realize the elevator had stopped at the third floor.
I see Greyson with his hand around some girl's shoulder. He looks at us expectantly as though we were to move and 'let the boss come through'. I raise a brow and fold my hands over my chest.
He smirks and walks into the elevator and I, confused, look across to see that Caleb had moved. At first, I was questioning why, but then I saw him shaking and I realized he was afraid of Greyson. I grab Caleb's hand and pull him beside me.
Greyson looks at me as though he is trying to show authority. How the hell do I have a crush on him? Hmmm, i think that crush just melted. I smirk at Greyson and he frowns and grabs the girls face and begin making out with her.
I roll my eyes and press the elevator button to go to the 5th floor. I then say to Caleb," so who is your favourite character?" But Caleb only trembles the entire way to fifth floor and Greyson makes out the entire time.
I mean he even started undressing the girl. This is the ultimate fart, this dude here called Greyson. I mean when they here the ping of the elevator signifying that we have arrived on the fifth floor, they start putting themselves back in order, but jeez, way to be disgusting in public.
Caleb practically runs out of the elevator when he hears that 'ping' sound and I scurry after him. I then just realize I am not wearing any shoes. I facepalm and continue following Caleb who goes to bench farthest from society. I lose sight of Greyson and his little 'i dont know what her name is' girl.
I sit beside Caleb who looks pretty stunned to see me, he then stutters, " Y-you s-should go wit-th your fam-mily and stay t-there." I then smile and say " Yh ill go," And grab his arm pulling him out of the chair and with me. My dad narrows his eyes at me when he sees me coming to him with a boy.
Did I even remember to tell you what this dining room looks like? The floors are carpeted with black carpet and the tables are medium-sized, white and round with 7 or 8 chairs around it. It is really big and more than 20 tables are here. I mean it is like a banquet hall except a million times prettier.
The walls are made of marble and there is a podium upfront. I see my 5 brothers sitting at the table looking pretty lavish and my dad oml, my dad who is only 36, having his first child at 16, {really that story is for another time}, looking as handsome as ever.
I smile and my dad frowns looking at my feet with a questioning look, "Where the fuck are your shoes?!" I giggle and say " Dad, I am not going back to my room for shoes, sorry" He smiles and says " So, who is this gentleman here?" Caleb visibly relaxes and extends his hand for my dad to shake it.
Me being confused, look to the table to realize Caleb had already put his stuff on the table," Hi, Mr.Valente, I am Caleb Valentino, Pleasure to meet you," Caleb says.
My dad shakes his hand and says, " Since, you are a friend of my daughter, or maybe even boyfriend," my dad says wiggling his eyebrows at me, I blush and roll my eyes, but there is still a blush," You can call me Mr.Loki."
Caleb gasps, "As in 'Loki' from Asgard." My dad smiles, "Yes my mom gave me that name, she said she knew I was gonna be a 'troublemaker'," My dad used his fingers to make the sign of air quotes while saying the word 'troublemaker'.
I giggle at my dad's funny gesture and sit at the table as do Caleb and we begin talking about movies and our favourite songs, and as in we I mean all my brothers, my dad, Caleb and I. We are having our fun.
3 minutes later....
" yh, i love the joker so much, so interesting," Caleb says. I smile and my brothers just stare at him then burst out laughing. My dad was already rolling off his chair. I mean who kmrw that they would like a nerd so much cause they are doing the most right now.
My dad, well I did say he is happy go lucky, so u can imagine him rolling of his chair in laughter with tears falling from his eyes, and the funny part is I don't know what they are laughing about, did the Joker thing send them a signal or something. Caleb, well he is just as confused as I am.
I only smile and Mr.Parker, Greyson's dad, hits his spoon gently against his wine cup making a clinking sound to get the attention of everyone. Weirdly enough all the tables are filled with loads of people I don't know but am guessing they are a part of Mr.Parker's Mafia, yup, he is the mafia boss of the Viper Mafia from California.
We give him our undivided attention, and he says," I have some allies here, from Blood Cobras, now we all know what went down, but I want you to meet them,"
. Yes, this wasn't really our house, only specific rooms were ours because we helped Mr.Parker build this house, and as in build, I mean donate money to him to help with the construction seeing as this was quite expensive.
Mr.Parker smiles at us and says " I will allow them to introduce themselves." Did I forget to tell you, that his voice was like a megaphone all by itself, it's no wonder he didn't need a microphone, else we would all lose our hearing.
My father smiles and introduces himself as do the rest of us and our audience greets us with warm smiles, some with cold stares, sweet smiles that don't reach eyes, warm loving eyes with cold hard frowns, it was just a mixture of reactions.
Mr.Parker then raised his wine glass that seemed to miraculously have champagne in it, considering I didn't see a waiter with a champagne bottle in his hand," To the valente's arrival,".
And then I look down at my glass and gasp, "How did champagne get in there," I begin looking under the table, behind me, almost everywhere, like a crazy person. My dad just laughs and says "Aria V the waitress is beside you," I look beside me and see a girl with the name 'Aria Dogaldo' on her name tag.
At that exact moment, the audience replies, "To the Valente Family". Aria Dogaldo frowns at me and turns away, however, I stop her and say," We have the same first name." At that, she smiles at me and says, "Then you can call me, Aria D, and here is my number in case you want to text me."
I look at her expectantly as though she should just take a piece of paper that was waiting out of her pocket and hand it to me. She is also looking at me expectantly, then says," are you gonna get your phone or paper or what?" My eyebrows raise in understanding and I ask Caleb if he can type Aria D's number into his computer.
He agrees and she tells him her number. However, while that was happening, someone rings the doorbell. Now that is 5 floors above ground, But I mean this is a community and the person at the door probably needs help.
Caleb quickly walks to the elevator as do I. But when we go to the elevator door, he says, " Aria V, I mean you are really nice to accompany me, but i don't think Greyson likes that." I roll my eyes, " Greyson can't stop me from doing anything, let's go,".
Caleb smiles and steps into the elevator with me beside him. Today, I am seeing a lot of smiling. Instantly we go back to the conversation we were having in the dining hall after Caleb presses the floor we will be going to. I am starting to think of Caleb of more of a friend now, and my crush for him well, it is rubbing off slowly.
4 minutes later...
We arrive unto the first floor and step out of the elevator. " So like, I be like I see a clue," I say with some humour in my voice. He bursts out laughing at the sound of my voice. We pass through the living room and then arrive at the door. We cautiously open the door and see a little baby there, wrapped in bundles. It looked like it was just born.
My jaw drops at the cuteness of the baby. However, before touching the baby, I eye-inspect the baby for any cameras. Cause well u never know. I sigh and look at the baby. Caleb smiles at the baby and says," Hi little baby, My name is Caleb Valentino and I really wish u could tell me yours... I am 17. Quite shy....I wish u could tell me more about yourself-"
Right there i cut him off, deadpanning, "Caleb, the baby is still on the floor, why dont u take her up, in your hands, as you should,". "O, o, yeah, I should do that,". I facepalm and he carefully lifts the baby into his arms, at first, he is sorta shy, but when he holds the baby close to his face, I gasp, "Caleb, the baby looks so much like you, I mean the cute aqua eyes and the very cute lips...." I rant.
Caleb just smiles and says, " I will name her Talia Valentino, for short Talia V, I would love to name her after you, but I am not sure what u would think..." he says.
I smile and say, "She is so cute, but how did u know that she was a she?" Caleb bursts out laughing and says, " Because she is my baby, yh, yh am a nerd, you can clearly see that, but well I was drugged into it and I forced the mother to keep the baby, I mean i am only seventeen but every baby was created for a reason, right?".
I smile at what he says," yh, every baby was created for a reason, and i really don't have a problem with you naming her after me, but I think Talia suits her, cause you gave her that name,".
I wiggle my brows and lightly punch his arm. He just smiles at me and says," We should probably go back to the banquet hall and close the door,". "Yh, Yh we should,". He hands me Talia and closes the door and walks in front of me as if safeguarding me, I smile at his gesture and i can't help but notice that the entire time, Talia's eyes have been closed,... cuteness overload.
We walk to the elevator, and for the first time i notice that a 17-year-old boy has a baby and me, 15, is holding it. It sorta looks like I am the mom and he is the dad, which is sorta wierd on my part cause i really never expected this Unexpected baby.
We reach the fifth floor, Talia still in my arms wrapped in a pink blanket. I mean some people are really staring at us and Caleb's nerdy look aint helping, its making me look like a momma and he just my friend. We go sit at our table and should I say that everyone was already eating, mhmmm, the waiters had already served the food.
Caleb sits at the table and I hand Talia to him and my dad, well let's say his jaw fell to the floor. Geo and Xavy, are just laughing at dad, Deth, Blakey and Thot were staring at Talia with a little bit of shock, adoration and excitement. May I dare say my brothers treats babies like gods.
They adore them. I just smile at their reactions and dig into my food. Geo smiles and says mockingly in a singing tune, " Aria V is a momma now and Caleb is the daddy, all my bros are adoring the baby like she is a queen or something." We all laugh at Geo's mocking.
My dad then says to Caleb, " Caleb, you need to eat, give me the baby," Caleb hands my dad the baby, who in turn begins gently rocking the baby to and fro, " What is her name?". "Talia, Talia Valentino," Caleb replies. My dad then begins singing some sweet lullabies to Talia and Caleb and I eat our food.
10 minutes later...
By now, people have sort of stopped staring at us and we have finished our food and are conversing with everyone at our table. Mr.Parker stands and gets our attention with his microphone voice, " Dinner is to be completed at 8:30, and for newcomers dinner begins at 7:00 p.m sharp." Afterwards, we go back to our conversation about the movie 'Lucifer'. "Aria V, I mean its still a surprise about Miss unexpected here," Thot says to me. I smile at that thought.
