1 Quest One: Chapter One: The Town Of Winter-Hill

The Town of Winter-Hill/ Southen border of Province of Sanctus/ World of Terra.

Oh, the great town of Winter Hill, one of the most permanent examples of the Magical oddities in the world of Terra. The town is the home of the massive hills and the home to the Dungeon of Winter-hall. The beautiful Winter escape town is known for its hardy meat roast and cozy tavern.

Blessed by the Goddess of Preservation, the town folks have lived here for generations in good health and fat bellies. But lately, a new threat has plagued the forest of Winter Hill. About a month ago, rotten green undead have appeared in the hill forest, ambushing the unexpected travelers.

As a place of significance in the culture of Winter-hall, they have been unable to get close to the Fortress of Winter-hall. A sacred place to leave their offerings for their ancestors' final resting place.

To ask for help became a burden, and the forest of Winter Hill became more of the trending news in neighboring towns. Paper came into the adventure guild, bringing about more attention and adventures willing to risk their lives reward of 800 gold pieces for getting rid of the problem.

But so far, none have returned, and the Mayor of Winter-Hill sits in his office contemplating his decision for the lives of his townspeople in return for the lives of the adventures. Until one day, a saving grace arrives in the form of the long Purple cloak-wearing individual. Claiming to know the circumstances brought upon the Mayor and promised of an end.

...

As the afternoon settles in, another individual leaves the tavern towards the Mayor's office building. The man wears steel armor on his person with steel leggings covering his left thigh. He had his two Bags of Holding on his belt around his waist and a pouch of gold and silver. He swings open the door leading to a waiting sort of room.

A Winter Wood floor led to a receptionist in front of him, and to the side was the room with people documenting and scribbling on paper. Few worked on two similar machines, one printing newspapers and the other printing the "Quest posters." The same one that the man held in his hand.

All stopped working in a moment as they stared at the suddenly tall and dangerous-looking man standing at the entrance. The man ignored them, as he was habitual of stares that he got. He walked up to the receptionist, who immediately turned her gaze away and placed the Quest Poster on her desk. "I am here for this," the man says softly, trying his best not to seem intimidating.

"Take the stairs, Sir. The Mayor is in his office, " the young girl said, pointing at the door with a smile you would give a stranger. The man nodded and walked towards the stairs. Opening the door, which opened the way to the first floor. Finding the door to the mayoral office already opened and a similar voice talking to the Mayor.

Coming into the office, he saw the two individuals. The Mayor is an old man with a white beard, top hat, and a monocle. He was wearing a suit and sitting in his chair. On the other side of the table was the same long purple cloak-wearing Sorcerer he encountered in the Weeping Forest outside the town.

The Sorcerer's name was Stevin. He had dark purple hair, long enough to tie at the very end, and a thick black leather suit and trousers. "Ah, Dan. You finally made it", Stevin said with a smile. Dan signed painfully, "Oh...are you here for the Quest too," Dan asked with a forced tone.

"What else would I be here for?" Stevin said with a wide smile. "I should have just let the Toads eat you," " Dan said, annoyed by Stevin's arrogant smile. "Ah, young man, I will take it that you are one of Sir. Stevin's promised allies?" the Mayor said.

"Promised allies?" Dan said, looking at Stevin with a questioning stare. And Stevin pulled out the same Quest poster as Dan and opened it up for him to see. "See, allies. I am sure we can help each other", Stevin said, quickly rolling it back up.

"Why do you think that I will be willing to...". "Excuses me," a delicate voice interrupted Dan from behind, causing him to turn around. Finding a beautiful median standing behind him, her white hair glimmered in the room's light. Her sapphire eyes and the fair skin of her lean body in her Cleric clothing.

Dan became dazed by her beauty for a moment, causing him to take a step back. Her eyes meet Stevin's, "Ah; you did come here, Mister Stevin," median said with a smile. Hearing her say his name, Dan turns around to give Stevin an annoyed look. "Mister Stevin?" Dan asked, and Stevin smiled at him.

"Well, I meet Lady Zoltih over here in one of the taverns in Luminaire. Since I found out that she had the same Quest poster as me, I found it obvious to introduce myself...anyway, Lady Zoltih, this fine Warrior here, is called "The Dan." I met him after I left Luminaire", Stevin explained.

"I see; nice to meet you, Mister Dan," Zoltih said quickly, bowing her head. "Oh... no need to do that. It's a pleasure meeting you, too," Dan quickly said.

"So... is it only three of you?", Mayor asked suddenly, hearing that all three turned their head towards him as if insulted. "Don't worry yourself, Mr. Mayor," Stevin said, getting up from his chair. "Whatever the threat be, I am certain that we three are well equipped to deal with it, " Stevin said, turning to Dan and Zoltih.

"Am I right or what?" Stevin asked, and Dan sighed, getting irritated at Stevin's attuite, while Zoltih smiled and nodded.

Meanwhile, outside, the hidden figure laches on the edge of the wall, hearing our hero and smiles. "Yes, this is my chance to get the Amulet back," she says as she jumps down on the snow, cushioning her fall.
