20 Dig Out What Kind Of Guy She Likes!

Zhou Lengxin visited the filming site again after checking up on Liu Feihong.

She was feeling particularly stressed about it since Zheng Hualian was having trouble shooting a scene.

Despite finishing the recordings of the OST, she still had to involve herself with the acting. She better be getting paid extra.

Zhou Lengxin nodded in reply and went straight to the director.

"Sir, can I ask which scenes are problematic?"

Director Ye flipped through the script, "Scene 36, the flashback to Shen Mumu and Fu Lei's past. I can't feel the love from her, Shen Mumu is head-over-heels, ready-to-die-for-him in love. Fix it, you have two weeks tops."

Zhou Lengxin took her own copy of the script and flipped to the said scene.

This was back in their youth where the audience gets some insight into the characters' backstory and relationship.

Frowning, Zhou Lengxin went over to Zheng Hualian. If she remembered correctly, the latter had never dated anyone before and had probably never experienced love before.

"This scene right here, the director's not happy about it. What are you having trouble with?"

Zheng Hualian looked at her hands and muttered something incomprehensible.

"What did you say?"

"I haven't even been alone with a guy before." Her voice was barely above a whisper as she looked down in embarrassment.

Zhou Lengxin looked incredulously at the girl in front of her.

She had shoulder length chocolate brown hair, big doe eyes, and a petite frame that made you want to take care of her.

'Surely she must have had some pursuers before!'

Li Chuhua appeared to have overheard and voiced her thoughts aloud.

"What? Impossible, look at how adorable you look! The men around you must be blind!"

Zheng Hualian helplessly shrugged her shoulders. Back in A City, whenever a guy showed interest in her, they would suddenly be snatched away by Su Meizhen. It was now that she realized that men would always prefer the prettier and popular one.

"Miss Li, can I have a few words with you?"

Zhou Lengxin took Li Chuhua into another room and lowered her voice.

"Zheng Hualian has to experience a pure love within a frame of two weeks before we can get her to connect to the scene. I need you to gather information, dig out what kind of guy she likes, what's her past, her experiences, and report back to me, okay?"

Zheng Hualian was such a pure girl, she felt a bit guilty manipulating her love life, but a 20-year-old girl like her should get some of that experience!

"Understood!" Li Chuhua's grin stretched across her whole face. Since the boss wanted gossip, she would surely deliver!

Zhou Lengxin didn't have too much of a reason to hang around much longer, so she texted Wei Lina that she was leaving to go visit the hospital.

Just as she was out the door, her phone rang— it was Lina.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Don't leave yet! Uh, can you um, y'know the Korean store that's nearby? Uh yeah, can you buy some... so— some, uh kimchi! Aaaaand some tteokbokki! Yeah, okay, love you! Bye!"

Wei Lina rambled that all without room to refute.

Zhou Lengxin was left a little fazed, but turned her body opposite to the way to the bus station anyway.

She really ended up buy kimichi and tteokbokki plus rice from the Korean store and walked down the street, slightly swinging the plastic bag.

Zhou Lengxin had bought some extra to give to her little crew at the film site to which they were all delighted.

"Mmm, goodness I'm famished. Thank god!"

Song Liqin, who had not shown herself so far, appeared immediately when the food appeared.

"Thanks, Sis Zhou! I wish you could come every day!" Li Chuhua unabashedly grabbed a pair of chopsticks and stuffed her face.

The more quiet Zheng Hualian ate in a mannerly fashion.

Zhou Lengxin felt her cell ping once again.

'Did Wei Lina forget to ask me to buy something? Because I'm not walking back again..."
