Naruto Versus Gaara

Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!

Several of the dead bodies fell on the ground with cold blood flowing in their veins.

Nearly forty of Jonin Rank ninjas were lying dead on the ground. It was impossible to count how many Chunin died.

But, it was no less than a hundred.

The number of dead people lying on the ground all belong to either Sand Village or Sound Village.

And with that, the entire battlefield was stagnant for a moment until the culprit of this incident appeared next to Kakashi and fell to the ground.

"Damn! Our shinobi!"

Looking at those dead shinobi from Sand Village, Baki's eyes turned red as he shouted.

"Everyone, kill him!"

Those remaining Sand Village Shinobi roared with him and rushed toward Menma.

But, several Konoha Jonin plus Chunin immediately appeared in front of them and started blocking them.

Even they were shocked by this incident. But, thankfully, they were quick enough to react.

Outside the Konoha Village,

"Damn fox boy, eat me claw!"

Shukaku roared and slammed his sandy claw at Naruto. But before even it could hit him, Hinata spread out of her palm and spun.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Her immense chakra was so strong that it was blocking that claw quite easily. But, the main reason behind it was the Chakra Suppression.

[Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu]

Naruto immediately created nearly hundreds of Shadow Clones all of them covered in Nine Tails' Chakra.

[Hundred Barrage Kicks]

All hundred shadow clones launched powerful kicks at Shukaku, pushing him away.

"Damn you, fox!"

Shukaku roared and shoot out several of the Wind Bullets. These were not only fast but also extremely powerful.

[Rasengan Barrage]

Several of the Rasengan appeared in Naruto clone's hand as they struck those Air Bullets with it.

Bang!

The massive sound of explosion almost burst out other Shinobi's eardrums. Fortunately, Hinata and Naruto were covered in Nine Tails' chakra.

With the immense boost in strength from the Nine-Tails chakra, Naruto simply dashed toward Shukaku, hoping to find Gaara and wake him up.

Unfortunately, Shukaku saw him coming and immediately slapped his claws on the ground a few times.

Hinata immediately used her Byakugan to find Gaara and upon seeing him, she shot a powerful vacuum palm that traveled through an empty space and moved toward Gaara.

But, before it could hit him, a sand barrier appeared and struck the Vacuum Palm, preventing any attacks from hitting Gaara.

"What kind of sand manipulation is this?" Hinata looked shocked when she saw that sand barrier erecting on its own.

It was clear that Gaara was asleep. So, he shouldn't be able to move his sand. And, this sand clearly doesn't seem to be related to Shukaku.

So, where is it coming from?

She strengthened the power of her Byakugan to see further, much further inside Gaara. She wanted to see the source of that sand manipulation.

And, when she focused more on her Byakugan, she found something incredible.

The chakra that was controlling this sand was neither related to Gaara nor was it related to Shukaku which she had already thought of.

What shocked her, even more, was that this chakra seemed extremely pure, to the point where it seemed to be mixed with some kind of emotions.

She could use her Byakugan to see it but she couldn't feel it. All she knew was that this chakra would manipulate the sand to block all kinds of attacks.

"Naruto-kun, I discovered something really important." Hinata rushed near Naruto and shouted.

"What?" Naruto used his Shadow Clone to block Shukaku's attack while he discussed it with her.

"You told me that your father sealed your chakra inside you, right? I feel like his parents also did the same."

"But, this chakra is quite different than yours. It is still inside of him working all the time which shouldn't be possible."

"It is protecting him." Hinata explained with some disbelief in her eyes.

Hearing her words, Naruto suddenly got silent. He turned his head at Gaara and remembered Menma's words.

This was another kid who suffered a similar fate to him. But, his father was clearly alive. He shouldn't have turned into such a monster.

So why?

After taking a deep breath, Naruto spoke.

"Hinata, help me! I am going to ask him everything after I defeat him."

Hinata slowly put a smile on her face. This is the Naruto that she loved. No matter what kind of difficulties he faced, he would always walk forward.

She nodded her head and poured a massive amount of chakra into her Byakugan and released her Byakugan Suppression to an even higher rank.

Poof!

Suddenly, the shadow clone that was sitting behind him in a silent state disappeared and an orange pigment appeared around his eyes.

Naruto entered Sage Mode and drew out even more of Nine Tails' chakra.

"Damn it! What kind of Byakugan is that? Why can it suppress my Chakra? It looks even more powerful than the old man's dojutsu. But, that shouldn't be possible."

Nine Tail inside Naruto's stomach growled angrily when he found Naruto borrowing more and more of his Chakra without losing his mind.

Normally, this shouldn't be possible since his chakra was full of negativity.

But, right now, all of that negative emotion was suppressed by Hinata's Byakugan so Naruto could easily use more of his power.

Naruto entered five-tails mode and the next moment, his speed soared to its maximum. Before even Shukaku could react, he smashed Shukaku in his face.

Thud!

Naruto landed on the ground and spread out his arm. The massive amount of chakra gathered in his palm, slowly spinning into a ball.

Merging Nine Tails' chakra, he made his Rasengan Purple.

On the other hand, Shukaku also sensed the amazing power of Naruto's Rasengan and prepared his own Tailed Beast Bomb.

It's just that his Tailed Beast Bomb was much smaller than other Tail Beast.

Boom!

The next moment, their attacks collided, releasing a massive explosion that almost blinded the entire Konoha.

Looking at the direction of the explosion, all they could see was a massive flame soaring toward the sky.

Inside that flame though, Naruto was rushing toward Gaara who was on top of Shukaku.

Although he was protected by the Nine Tails' Chakra, he couldn't remain safe for long. So, upon reaching in front of him, Naruto clenched his fist and punched out.

"Wake up, you bastard!"

Bang!

He punched Gaara so hard that he threw Gaara out of Shukaku's body. Because of that impact, Gaara woke up from his Sleeping technique and the Shukaku's body started moving inside of him.

The intense heat started affecting the sand. And, Naruto also noticed him so he jumped from the falling sand of Shukaku and wrapped his arms around Gaara who was still in a state of shock.

The sand barrier around him slowly dissipated as Naruto and Gaara landed on the ground.

"Naruto-kun!"

Hinata used her Byakugan to find Naruto and Gaara out of the explosion. After the flames became smaller, she rushed toward them.

At this moment, Naruto had already pushed away Gaara from his embrace who was still in a state of shock.

"Why did you save me?"

Knowing that his sand barrier was gone, he thought that he was going to die. But, Naruto suddenly embraced him and pulled him out of the explosion, saving his life.

"Because you and I are the same."

Naruto sighed and answered.

Only then Gaara realized.

"You are also a Jinchuriki. So, that's why. But, you are not me. I don't understand why would you save an enemy."

"That's what I said. We are the same. We bear the same fate as Jinchuriki. We are not enemies." Naruto shouted as he replied.

"I don't understand. I clearly tried to kill you. Why do you still say we are not enemies?" Gaara looked confused as he asked. Even his father was his enemy.

How could simply another Jinchuriki whom he tried to kill be his friend?

"Your father sealed the Tailed Beast inside of you, right? Mine too!" Naruto didn't answer instead he happily asked.

Gaara suddenly turned silent as Naruto continued.

"Your father must be good to you, right? He has been using his Chakra to save you all this time."

In his mind, it would only be possible if the person was alive. So, he didn't connect it with his mother.

Hearing his words, Gaara's murderous intent leaked out as he shouted.

"You…. What the hell are you talking about? Do you have any idea how many times he tried to kill me? He even sent several assassins to murder me. I was only protected by the Tailed Beast inside of me."

"What the hell are you talking about? How could a father try to kill his son? Hinata clearly checked your chakra. That is neither your nor the tailed beast's chakra."

"If it is not your father, then it must be your mother's chakra."

Naruto shook his head and immediately explained.
