72 Menma's Action

Hearing his words, Naruto slowly brightened his smile as he stood up. He caught Menma's hand and shouted.

"Of course, I will."

Menma sighed a breath of relief and said.

"Them, listen to my plan carefully. You and I will get involved in this battle. I will use my Flying Thunder God Jutsu to kill our enemies while your goal is to stop Gaara."

"Bring him out of darkness and become his sun. After you do that, immediately run toward Mr. Kakashi and collapse instantly saying that you won't be able to fight anymore."

Naruto nodded his head.

Just when they were leaving, they saw a group of Genins running toward him.

"Hey look, they are already up." Ino shouted.

"Hey guys, we are attacked by Sand Village." Sakura shouted.

"Haa!" Shikamaru sighed and spoke upon reaching closer to them.

"Naruto, Menma, Mr. Kakashi told us to wake you guys. We need your strength."

There were others as well including Neji, Tenten, Hinata, Choji, Sasuke, Lee, Kiba, and Shino.

Everyone of Konoha twelve was gathered.

"Don't worry, we can definitely fight." Naruto excitedly spoke.

Roar!

Suddenly, a massive figure appeared several hundred meters away from them. It was a massive beast that looks like a Tanuki covered in Sand and seals.

"Naruto, it's your cue."

Menma looked at Naruto and spoke.

Naruto seriously nodded his head and turned to Hinata.

"Hinata, I need you to fight alongside me."

"Don't worry, I will always fight alongside Naruto-san." Hinata blushed and spoke softly.

"Alright, I will leave that you lovebirds." Menma spoke and then looked at Shikamaru.

"Shikamaru, it's time to show the enemy our strength. You will lead all the Genins to fight every other Genin and even some Chunin."

"Sasuke, Neji, Shino, and Lee have enough fighting strength. Others have their own strength. You know how to use their strength the best. I will leave it to you."

Hearing his words, Shikamaru nodded his head.

Menma turned his head at others especially Sasuke and said.

"I know that you don't like following orders but Shikamaru is smarter than all of you combined. So, listen to his orders during this battle."

Sasuke was displeased by Menma's attitude but he didn't start a fight. He simply nodded while Neji asked.

"So, what about you?"

Everyone curiously asked.

"Me?" Menma took out a special kunai in his hand said while holding it in front of him.

"I am going to carry out the legacy of Fourth Hokage. The name of Yellow Flash of the Leaf will change to Black Flash of the Leaf."

Whoosh!

Saying so, he instantly disappeared.

"It seems like he is going to do something really interesting. Anyway, we don't have to worry about him. Naruto and Hinata are already gone."

"So, let's focus on Genin and Chunin. Considering that this was the war launched by Sand Village together with Sound Village, they have sent a lot of Chunin instead of Genin."

"Almost all of us have the strength of Chunin but their number is also huge. So, our goal is to focus on minimizing the number."

"Sasuke, Neji, Lee, and Shino will be the main force for the attack. We will attack in a team of four. Sasuke, Sakura, Lee and Tenten will be one team. Choji, Shino, Neji, and Kiba will be another team."

"I will be a third time with Ino but my role isn't to fight but rather to give you guys support whenever necessary. And, I can do it with the help of Ino's Mind Transfer Jutsu. In four men's teams, two will be responsible for attack and two will be responsible for support."

"I don't need to explain who will be the attacker and who will be the support, right?"

Everyone shook their heads and got ready for the battle.

Outside the Arena, Menma had appeared next to Kakashi.

"Oh, Menma! It's good you have arrived. What's your plan?"

Kakashi was relieved upon seeing Menma as he hastily asked for a plan.

"Well, I plan to use something interesting. Here, take these and throw them at the enemy. I don't need to explain much, do I?"

Menma pulled out a pouch full of Kunai and asked.

Kakashi took a large number of Kunai and shook his head. He had already experienced this process before.

It was the same thing that his teacher said.

He passed those kunai to others while throwing them all around the Konoha.

At this moment, the situation in Konoha was devastating.

Shikaku was wreaking havoc and a massive snake was doing the same. Fortunately, a massive toad had arrived and started fighting off against that snake.

While this happening, Naruto rushed toward Shukaku. On top of Shukaku was Gaara who was completely unconscious.

"Hinata, let's do our best!"

Naruto held her hand and spoke with a serious expression.

"Yes, Naruto-San!"

Hinata also seriously explained. At this moment, a massive amount of Chakra burst out of Naruto. It wasn't a normal chakra but rather Nine Tails's chakra.

"Is that you, Fox? Haha! I can finally take you down." Shukaku immediately sensed Nine Tail's chakra and burst into laughter upon seeing Naruto who was simply using Nine Tails' chakra instead of transforming into Nine Tails.

The massive chakra of Nine Tail was corrosive but Shikaku noticed something strange.

A massive pressure burst out of the figure next to Naruto. This pressure was extremely strong and he had only felt it from one person.

Sage of Six Paths!

His chakra seemed a bit more suppressed but it didn't mean he got any weaker.

When this pressure appeared, Nine Tails' chakra also became extremely docile. And, the orange coat passed onto Hinata covering her body in four tails coat.

"This power. It feels so amazing." Hinata murmured upon feeling the power of Nine Tail's chakra.

She raised her palm and thrusts it toward Shukaku.

[Eight Trigrams- Air Palm]

A massive air palm burst out of her small palm and pushed away Shukaku. This air palm was so strong that every Hyuga near her started sweating heavily.

It was kind of a power that they could never hope to achieve.

But, their miss did it simply by standing next to the Demon Fox boy.

While Shukaku was pushed away, he did manage to cause a lot of damage with his immense size.

Seeing this, Menma frowned. He knew that if he keeps Shukaku near the village, it will probably destroy the village.

"You damn little, take this!"

[Wind Release- Drilling Air Bullet]

He smashed his stomach and released a massive air bullet that rushed toward Naruto and Hinata.

Although both of them had the power to deflect it or even dodge it, both options would cause massive devastation inside the Konoha.

Knowing this, Menma suddenly teleported himself next to Shukaku and teleported him outside.

That did consume a lot of Chakra out of him. Fortunately, he still had the original Yin Seal that stored a lot of Chakra for him.

He used this Chakra to fill up his reserve.

After teleporting Shukaku out, he rushed in front of his Jutsu and touched it with his palm covered in chakra.

"Here, take it!"

Menma appeared in front of Shukaku and released the Air bullet at him, instantly disappearing and reappearing with Naruto and Hinata.

"Alright, you two need to defeat him outside the village."

Although it was outside, it wasn't that far away from the village like in the original.

It was quite close in fact.

After all, he wanted the villagers to see the power of Naruto.

After Menma disappeared, he appeared right in front of Kakashi who had just finished sending away all of those kunai around them.

Knowing that this was the moment he needed to go all out, Menma decided to use the Jutsu that he has never used before. And, it does cost him a lot of Chakra as well.

He looked at Kakashi and said.

"After this, my protection will be left to you."

Kakashi immediately understood his intentions and nodded.

"Don't worry! I will not let my companion die."

Menma just smiled and held the Kunai in front of him. Suddenly, his eyes got sharp as he activated his Chakra.

[Flying Thunder God- Heaven and Earth Array]

The white light emitted out of the Kunai that were spread all around the village. Several of the people saw those Kunai glowing and were confused.

But, some of them were veterans especially those who have seen the power of the Flying Thunder God so they immediately tried to run away from the Kunai.

But, it was too late. Everyone was already inside the Array.

[Lightning-Wind Blades]

Forming the sharp blade made out of the wind and covered in lightning in his hands, Menma disappeared.

Splash!

He appeared behind another person and pierced him before even he could react.

But, it didn't even end. Before even others could react, he had already appeared in front of another Kunai and pierced another person.

Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash!

The speed of his attack was so high that it almost looked like the black light flashing all around. At this moment, everyone understood that the Yellow Flash of the Leaf has changed into something else.
