63 Battle of Anticipation

As they were talking, the battle between Okinawa and Murasaki ended with Murasaki as the winner. In the middle of the battle, Murasaki was able to borrow the strength of his Cursed Seal to enhance his illusions.

Although Okinawa was quite ready for all kinds of illusions when Murasaki released the illusion merged with the power of the cursed seal, it became semi-real.

"Mr. Guy, let me heal his wounds!" Menma spoke while walking toward Lee. At this moment, Guy's eyes sparked.

He knew that Menma was the student of Tsunade.

She was the top medical ninja in the entire world. Although he didn't know how much Menma had learned about medical ninjutsu in just two years, he decided to trust Menma.

Menma walked in front of Lee who was still unconscious. Just like in the original, his legs were destroyed.

Fortunately, Lee had trained Iron Body so even though his bones were broken, they were extremely strong.

He could reconnect with his medical jutsu but the blood veins were the problem. Without proper resources, he can't fix his blood veins.

"Mr. Guy, I recently invented a new Jutsu. Would you like to check it out?"

When he said that, Guy tilted his head in confusion.

Menma gave him the scroll as Guy blankly took it and opened it.

When he read the content of the scroll, his eyes widened. Slowly, his hands startled trembling.

"Me-Men-Menma, is this really possible?"

"Of course, so, you don't have to worry about Lee's training. Just don't let him train until he masters this Jutsu and since this Jutsu directly affects his strength, he wouldn't be able to say no."

"Of course, this Jutsu is also for you. Right now, please don't make this Jutsu public. I have to release a more regulated version of this Jutsu before making it public." Menma nodded his head and answered.

Guy's expression turned serious instantly as he closed the scroll and lowered his head.

Guy burst into tears and hugged Menma so hard that he felt like his bones were breaking.

Menma didn't say much. He instantly turned around and left. He didn't want to get crushed once again.

After he came out of the hospital, he returned to the Arena and saw that the next battle had already been decided.

"Menma, where did you go?" Murasaki waved his hand at Menma and called him.

Other people who heard that also looked at him curiously.

"I went to cure Lee. By the way, who is my opponent?" Menma asked as he walked toward Murasaki and others.

"Haha! Menma, your opponent is me. How about it? We finally get a chance to fight." Suddenly, a big laugh came from the side as he saw a blond youth running toward him.

This guy was none other than Naruto Uzumaki.

Menma was stunned when he heard that his opponent was Naruto. And, not so surprisingly, his battle was at the very beginning.

"How is Lee?" Suddenly, a figure appeared next to him and asked.

"He can't train for a few months but he will be good soon," Menma answered. The person next to him was none other than Kakashi.

Because he had to cure Lee, he asked Kakashi to help him if the battle ended.

And, Kakashi did help him. When the battle ended, the next opponents were decided by drawing a number from a piece of paper.

So, Kakashi drew in his absence, and surprisingly, his number was two while Naruto's number was one.

Due to that, his opponent was none other than Naruto.

"So, when will be the next round?" Menma asked.

"It will start after a month" Kakashi replied.

Menma nodded his head and turned at Naruto.

"Naruto, don't slack off for the next month otherwise I will win with ease."

"Menma, I won't slack off. I double, no triple my training. In the next battle, I will definitely defeat you and prove that I can be the Hokage." Naruto shouted while raising his hand.

His fist was clenched as he stared at Menma with a big grin on his face.

On the other hand, Menma also slowly raised his hand. He also had that same grin on his face and bumped his fist against Naruto.

"Humph! I won't lose to you. This time Naruto, I don't have any weakness."

Saying so, he turned around. Jeme, Murasaki, Okinawa, and Genma appeared next to him as they slowly walked away.

"So, do you know how you are going to train for the next month? Without any special training, it will be hard to increase your strength exponentially in just a month."

When he saw Naruto smiling like a fool, Kakashi couldn't help but comment.

Hearing his words, Naruto's smile froze as he slapped his forehead.

"I don't have a plan."

"I knew it." Sakura on the side sighed.

Sasuke simply snorted while Kakashi helplessly smiled.

At this moment, he couldn't help but remember something from the past. He smiled and said.

"Let's go! If I am not wrong, that person should've arrived in the village. According to Menma's words, you have the qualification to train Sage Mode."

"And, that person is the only one who knows about Sage Mode. If you train under him, even if you might not be able to master it in a month, you can still get stronger."

"Really, Kakashi-Sensei?" Naruto's eyes lit up as he asked.

"Yes!" Kakashi nodded his head.

"Kakashi, what about me?" Seeing that Naruto was going to master Sage Mode, Sasuke couldn't help but feel frustrated. He clenched his fist and asked.

"About you, Sasuke! There isn't a lot I can teach you. You have already mastered Three-Tomoe Sharingan. You could train Chidori to a much higher level."

"And, you can also focus on other Jutsu. Since Naruto is going to train under that man, how about I guide you for this next month?"
