Chapter One: The start

In the depths of the night, a biting chill filled the air as if nature itself had turned to ice. The wind howled relentlessly, sweeping through the barren trees of the "Unforgiving Forest", its haunting melody echoing through the darkness. Each gust carried with it a relentless force, whipping through and leaving a lingering sense of unease in its wake. Pushing through this night is the king and queen of "Saria" hopping to make it home before the birth of their third child.

"Not much farther darling" the king said in a soft voice. "How about we start thinking of names for him? To pass the time." As the king was trying to calm his wife down, danger was approaching. "STOP" one of the guards said "commander do you see that?" But the commander couldn't see anything. "What is it?" He shouted. The soldier was standing in place. He didn't make a move nor sound. "Soldier!" The commander shouted. But the soldier didn't respond. A gust of wind blew and the soldier fell face into the ground. Another soldier went up to him and found that he was dead.

The commander was puzzled all thoughts were erased from his mind. "Commander what do we do?" One of the soldiers shouted. The commander was at a lost but he had to only think about the king, Queen, and their soon to be child. "Move his body off the road and keep moving!" The commander said As he looked back at the fallen soldier he noticed that the forest was covering his body like it was consuming him. He paid no attention to it and kept moving.
