7 He wasn't supposed to be here

Everyone had looked at the woman who was looking so pleased in voicing out her thoughts. Hubert Graham had looked at his daughter, his one and only biological child, with a conflicted yet embarrassed expression.

Eve didn't want to get at a situation where she would find Molina behind bars for insubordination or public disturbance so she ends it with a last note.

" If you see me in the future, act as if Molina Sylvia is dead, since that's how you have treated me and my mother ever since right? Oh, and I hope you never regret your choice Hubert Graham, now excuse me. I have a suitcase to fill with." Molina laughs and turns to leave the room.

Family drama isn't her thing but it seems she would bump into such conflict every time she possess a body.

Since Molina is a Villainess in her own life, it wasn't a surprise anymore to see her family broken. Not that it's her fault it's ruined, she clearly was born in a wrong environment, she could have lived a happier life if Hubert just kept it in his pants.

She pushes out the door and Eve walks out of the room. She hasn't fully let her heels step outside when she realizes there's two people on the hallway, just looking at her.

When her eyes meets his, she pause her steps and her eyes started to widen from the shock.

She sees a person she thought she would never seen, until three years from now.

Her eyes widen seeing Ethan Millers, Diana's bestfriend,  the other childhood sweetheart of hers, but he isn't what's important for now.

It's not just Ethan Millers alone, whose the heir to ML Company of international Airlines and those six star hotel chains around B Country. No, he isn't what's important....but it's his older brother whose standing next to him.

Gracing them with his presence was no other than Alexander Millers whose one of the youngest and riches businessmen of the decade, he who is the President of ML Company and had been assigned aboard for years to learn from their grandfather and was only a respectable figure in everyone's conversations.

Alexander Miller, he had never EVER appeared on Molina's memory during her early twenties in Molina's last life.

EVER.

And how old is Molina presently? Hmmm? Yeah, 25, so what was going on here??

Ethan Millers who had dyed his hair silver and didn't care about company policies, he only listens to his brother and their grandparents.

He was tall but, Alexander, was obviously towering him just two head taller than his younger brother, everyone could also see how he is even taller the two other batchelors inside the room.

While Ethan was a more go-with-the-flow kind of person, Alexander on the other hand, was strict when it comes to company policy and was always uptight. He appearance and the way he present himself makes it more of him as someone whose hard to approach.

Alexander and Ethan's mother was Asian and had dark colored hair and because of that Alexander was said to look more closer to their mother, with those sharp gaze and dark colored eyes, yet he look cold unlike his mother who had a warm expression on her face. Ethan on the other hand, got his looks from his father and look more western with his larger eyes.

Eve was busy staring at Alexander and their gaze met, there was a sudden chill on her spine.

Why now? How?

Eve wondered and had a slight internal conflict with herself.

Alexander was supposed to be at Molina's 28th birthday and would cause a commotion when Diana meets him officially.

" F*ck " Eve whisper to herself then suddenly look back to Hubert Graham and glared at him. The older man couldn't believe as he saw how Molina who was smiling at one minute and the next was now openly showing her animosity the next, he was taken aback. This person had given him a lot of surprise in just one night.

You old dog, you didn't extend an invitation to Alexander before so why did you do it now--- now--- what is with this development?!! If I can, I would have strangle you to death!!!

She can't follow these late-comers inside anymore after her whole shit show and because she doesn't want to, but if she doesn't  go in, she won't and will never know what Alexander and Diana would talk about.

Eve really despise Hubert Graham more for throwing the relationship-is-over conversation on the floor, now Eve can't go inside and eavesdrop anymore.

Oh God, is this my punishment for going out of character? She then mentally sighs.

Eve swallows the imaginary pain and then look back to the Miller brothers and nodded at them in greeting. She was clearly on her guard, Ethan usually wouln't look at her twice but he notice the woman had looked extra cautiously at their direction, especiallyat his older brother.

Of course Eve was going to look at Alexander cautiously, Molina doesn't bother speaking with them and hurriedly walks away as she opens her phone and dialled the driver.

With the appearance of Alexander, she was going to speed up her plans. It won't be a pain in the ass but it will keep her busy for some time, with Alexander meeting Diana, Molina is going to need to lay low for a few months or probably a few years.

" Alexander Miller is no joke " She puts her phone near her ears and listen to the ringing of the the other line as she reminds herself.

" He's Diana's biggest ally and he would do everything for her, I need to leave this city quickly "

Eve has always believed at the saying " Talk sh*t, get hit". Now she finally said something about Diana, the she might have to flee before she gets dragged into a dark alley and get smacked for talking bad at the female lead.

That's right, it wasn't Dave Smith, Jonathan Rhodes nor Ethan Miller who she was worried about, heck, even Graham Hubert was an easy trash to handle. It was Alexander Miller who she should be worried.

The person on the other line picks up and she told the driver her location, as she was waiting on the lobby for him. The call ended and she started to lean back on the sofa and sigh loudly, the lobby was empty of people and only the glass walls would hear her concerns.

Ethan Miller had to came to the party late as he drags his older brother in the hall, he wanted to introduce his childhood sweetheart to him and hope his older brother would help him with Hubert Graham. Ethan wanted to make an impression.

" Ethan," A man's deep voice was heard in the quiet hallway, he sounded displeased

" the party might have ended, what were you thinking dragging me here? " Alexander looks at his brother disapprovingly, he never likes being tardy nor late, he also doesn't like to barge in a party were he doesn't have anyone he knows, his brother however says it wasn't a problem.

" this is what we call fashionably late--"

" the party started at 6 and now it's 8:58--" Alexander cuts in.

" but we get the whole attention to ourselves, it's not like we had a role to do in this event, all we needed to do is sit and smile anyways. " Ethan tries to reason out but all Alexander could hear is his immature brother speaking.

Alexander doesn't bother with him anymore and straighten his black tie, he was wearing all black from his long-sleeves, to his blazer, to his tie, and his slacks, he was always seen wearing darker colored clothes in the company, it was easier to spot the president with that, and even his casual wear were dark colored clothes.

Ethan was about to open the door when he paused and heard a familiar voice screaming inside, it was Hubert Grahams first then it was a woman, Molina Sylvia.

The two had heard the whole ordeal and was surprised to see the door opened and a dark haired woman appeared to happily exit the room, only for her to look at Alexander in surprise.

Alexander saw the change of expression and even noticed how she turns back to glare at her own father. Molina didn't look too happy when she laid eyes on Alexander and that made the older man raised his brow.

Molina left in a hurry and looked like she left without a care at whatever she had done inside the room.

Alexander looks at her retreating back. He curiously stared at the woman who was rumored to speak rudely at his younger brother and pick a fight at him at whatever chance she got. Her long ink-like colored hair perfectly sway as she hurriedly walks away and her eyes, as Alexander saw, were light colored like honey, were captivating as the rumors stated.

Back in his grandfather's workplace, there were a lot of people who were into news and gossips. It wasn't unusual that Alexander learn about a person's character from these talks, some of the rumors are true while a few would miss the truth.

Seems like this young Sylvia was not what everyone say she were.

Alexander slightly smile as he remember how she looked like a small cautious cat with her fur standing as her eyes meet his.

Molina Sylvia, what a fierce lady. He whispers her name, as he caught an interest with the woman who had a sharp tongue, strong will and unapologetic eyes.

He stood there under the soft golden lights from the chandeliers, he stared for too long at the direction of where Molina had dissapeared into, and not even realizing that Ethan had been calling for him.

" Alex " Ethan calls out for him again and finally gotten his attention.

" it's seems like Molina had cause another trouble for Diana, I'm gonna go inside and see what happend. Aren't you going to follow me? " Ethan looks at him and then saw his look at the room with an awkward atmosphere with a frown, his brother rejected his offer and  shake his head, he wonder what this older man was thinking now.

" I'm going to head out and smoke, say my greetings to Mr.Graham for me " he doesn't listen to Ethan as he calls out to him, Alexander continues to walk to where Molina headed minutes ago.
