3 Chapter 3: Leaders of the sanctuary

After getting to the square they noticed two familiar men talking to a group of people. They went closer and realized that they were the two middle age men that called them monsters. So they started listening to what they said. Man #2, "those two beast in human skin attacked our group and killed everyone. We were lucky to escape with our lives." Jasmine couldn't control her anger and started yelling at the men.

Jasmine, "what do you mean we attacked you. The only thing we attacked was the giant mutated lizard who came out of nowhere and attacked us. After it was killed by Mia, you two came over and told us that your group didn't want two monsters traveling with you. So we left with four other members of the group. Your story doesn't even make any sense. If we can take down mutant animals within a few minutes, then the two of you wouldn't have lived if we had actually attacked you."

Man #1, "who would believe the words of a monster." Man #2, "you both are disgusting monsters that deserve to die." With in the crowd there were some of the higher ups that helped run the sanctuary. They were shocked by what those two men were saying. The one in a red shirt pulled out his phone and made a phone call to the other higher ups.

Once all the higher ups gathered together, they made their presence known to everyone gathered in the square. Leader #1, "what is going on here." Man #1, "these monsters are cold blooded killers. None of their kind deserve to live. They should do everyone a favor and just die." Leader #1, "is that your opinion." Man #1, "yes, wait no all I stated was the facts." Leader #1, "and what if I told you that some of the leaders of the sanctuary, who let everyone stay here with protection, food, water, and a roof over your head is also one of your so called monsters."

Man #1, "you people actually let monsters in charge of our safety. They are better off dead." Mia, "you know you keep calling us monsters but were not. All we are is a human who shares our bodies with the soul of a animal. The only monsters I've seen are the ones out there that have mutated and you two so called men." Everyone was stunned into silence by what Mia said. While everyone was in silence the rest of the group the traveled with Mia and Jasmine showed up.

As soon as they saw those two men they started chewing them out saying they were nothing but cowards. They left the group with the rest of them so whatever happened after had nothing to do with the girls. The leaders having heard everything stepped forward after discussing amongst themselves. Leader #1, "the nine of us have come to a decision. After listening to everyone's story we were able to figure out the truth. You two men should be ashamed of yourselves and we are going to have to ask you to leave the sanctuary. We will send you off with food and a weapon to defend yourself with. We can not have someone trying to start a riot to kill people."

Man #1, "they ain't people, they are monsters who don't deserve to live. Doesn't matter what they say they are always in the wrong even if they didn't do it. If we said they did it, then they did it. Who cares about a bunch of monsters who are better off dead anyways." Right after his little rant was done, men with military uniforms showed up and grabbed them by the arms and took them away. Leader #1, "we are deeply sorry for what has happened. We will release a press conference to the people of the sanctuary about what has happened. We are deeply sorry and hope you enjoy your stay here." Mia, " don't worry about a apology. It wasn't you who said those things and besides you are already helping us plenty by clear and everything up and let me know still stay here." Jasmine, "diddo." Leader #2, "are you sure there's nothing else we could do to help after everything that just happened."

Mia, "thank you but no we are good. But we would like to talk to all the leaders about something important. If you don't mind." Leader #7, "not a problem." Leader #6, "right this way." Everyone starts heading toward the leaders head quarters. Once they reached the headquarters they all entered into a room used for their daily meetings.
