2 Chapter 2: The Dark Truth-2
An eye.
The 4 thousand people on ship, standing on the wooden deck saw something unbelievable, a story if told will never be believed by anyone.
The people stood still, whether Chinese, Indians, Americans, British and mostly Japanese, just stood still, you could hear the waves roaring, hitting the ships at hull, yet nobody cared, they just stared at the sky. You could see the confusion yet disturbance and terror in their eyes.
The seagulls screeching in the sky dropped dead, the sky was black covered with clouds showing the incoming harsh storm, the winds were howling and blowing at a hair standing speed causing the ships to wave from side to side, yet nobody cared.
They saw an eye, the size of Island, it was black, utterly black, so black that you could see the light getting devoured by it. There was a red and orange mixture pupil almost looking like a sun. The harsh, cold and speedy wind suddenly became docile, and the surrounding became warm, the once roaring waves became gentle and docile seeming like they don't dare interrupt the eye.
The pupil suddenly shook and gazed at the soldiers on the ship, Captain Fuji broke out in cold sweat, when he stared at the eye, it seemed as if there was an abyss ready to gobble him up, he staggered and fell down on his knees.
In the bridge of Yamato, the once professional and high-ranking officers broke out in cold sweat, they were bewildered and some continued staring at the eye while others averted their gaze from the seemingly never-ending abyss.
The hand watch from Admiral fell on the floor, his hands shaking, his once old wrinkles now pale, you could see the terror that filled other people eye beside him…he staggered and counted, "2…1…0!" a flash of light seemingly a lighting strike came out of the eye.
Sargent Major Horoto looked up only to see a bright beam encompassing all the seven planes, "What The –!" and huge explosion rang out, the shockwave was enough to throw everyone on board off guard and down on their back.
Nothing remained, after the bright light faded away nothing was there, the 7 planes disappeared.
Admiral Haruto knowing what happened, staggered and fell down…
Seeing this Captain Fuji ran to help Admiral stand up, "Admiral! Are you okay?"
Admiral Haruto staggered and pushed Captain Fuji away and with eye full of anger he took the mic from one of the officers beside and shouted in Japanese, "All stop staring like pigs! Aim at the eye, all guns aim at the eye, start firing…every single fucking gun on the board start firing!!"
Suddenly coming back from stupor.
All ran back at their position their minds still shivering from the deaths of the 7 pilots, and locked at the eye.
The Yamato's 4 × triple 15.5 cm (6.1 in) guns. 6 × twin 12.7 cm (5 in) (Dual-purpose gun|DP guns. 8 × triple 2.5 cm (1.0 in) AA guns. 2 × twin 13.2 mm (0.52 in) AA machine guns all aligned their target to the eye.
The Akagi class aircraft carrier's ten 50-caliber 20 cm 3rd Year Type No. 1 guns, six in casemates aft and the rest in two twin gun turrets, one on each side of the middle flight deck aimed at the eye and were ready to bombard it once ordered.
The two Furutaka class's 2 x ((initial) 6 × single 20 cm (7.9 in) guns 4 × single 76.2 mm (3 in) AA guns 6 × twin 61 cm (24 in) torpedo tubes (final) 3 × twin 20.3 cm (8 in) guns 4 × single 12 cm (4.7 in) AA guns 4 × twin 25 mm (1.0 in) AA guns) were ready with many other cruisers and battleships at command.
It was a scary sight to anyone seeing these many steel monsters aimed at single being ready to let hell upon them, anything could be obliterated once these started firing! The shiny gleam of the metals, the power enough flattens countries all locked onto a single entity far above in the sky, this is exactly what you will see when mortals are fighting a god. Those murderous and stenchful bare aura emitted by these steel beasts of destruction was enough to bring anyone to their knees.
Admiral Haruto with confidence shouted, "FIRE!!! ALL GUNS FIREE!!!!, That entity let it be celestial, god or demon whatever has killed our brothers, today we shall kill that entity, we shall be the first one to do so!"
He wiped his sweat from his forehead and murmured, "I shall destroy the thing that killed and separated you and me, little brother, I have been waiting for 5 years for this opportunity!"
With a deadly gaze he stared at the eye…
*RATATATATATATATATATATATA*
*SWOOSH* *SWOOSH* *SWOOSH*
They kept firing…there palms were ridden with calluses, their hands swelled, their minds tensed and kept reloading and reloading the muzzles kept flashing, the cartridges kept dropping and finally they ran out of ammo, every single round of bullet has been used up.
Their minds exhausted from firing for 3 hours and hands shivering from the fear of unknown as the smoke caused by the weapons faded away, they gazed at the location of the eye…
They saw that something terrifying.
The demonic eye had disappeared, yet a mouth was now there instead of the eye…it was large enough to swallow the whole world it seemed…
You could see the saliva dripping, the drops were big enough to cover the island and submerge it, a tongue large enough to carry all the ships stationed came out of it…purple in color with razor sharp spikes covering the surface of its tongue each the size of a palm tree…its mouth was black as black as a black hole, it could devour anything…
The sun disappeared that day.
The Admiral Haruto staggered and started shivering his whole body went cold and slowly he started crying, and fell down on his knees, his old knees touched the cold yet bitter steel of the room.
The other captains suddenly all were shocked they didn't mind the on knees admiral instead some just stared frozen in fear at the mouth, others tried to get some soldiers to get to life boat to escape.
Captain Fuji shouted, "Everybody run, get to the life boat and try to rudder the ship back!"
Captain Fuji with some of the other soldiers and officers tried to lower the boat to help people escape but suddenly…
*shot* *shot*
Captain Fuji suddenly coughed blood and looked at the Admiral, "Admiral Haruto, why?" and fell on the floor, his body touched the cold board, his eyes wide open, and he limpidly fell and sunk into his own warm blood.
Admiral Haruto kept his gun back and said, "I am sorry officers, but nobody is allowed to escape, this is a one-way mission, he suddenly showed them the ships room filled with fuel and explosives, the officer understanding his intention said nothing, just kept their gaze down and stood silently.
He continued seeing this, "Good, we can't win somethings without sacrifice, for Japan!"
He shouted, "I am sorry little brother, I wasn't a good elder brother…I wasn't able to avenge you, I deserve death! I will make sure if I die and meet you in the otherworld, I will bring this entity with me"
Everybody started falling down on their knees except a few and started crying and shouting, "I don't want to die!" "Mom, I am sorry your unfilial son is going to die" "Sorry dear I won't be able to come home!" "Take care" those were the cries heard till distance.
The tongue didn't stop at their plea and like a glutton it lifted all the 27 ships and including water.
Seeing the power of this monstrosity, Admiral just gazed calmly, soldiers started panicking most of them fell of the board due to the wobbly ship and panic and straight feel into those spears like surface of the tongue only to be impaled and melt forming goo. This terrified people more, the admiral and the officer just stood there calmly watching people die slowly…and once they were close to the mouth, he closed his eyes and shouted, "Tenno Heika Banzai!" and he shot a bullet towards the explosive and the mouth closed.
The patrol ships of India, China, America, Britain watching this had their backs and palm covered with cold sweat, All the admirals shouted, "RETREAT! FAST and NOW!!!!"
The ships sped away from the place, nothing strange happened, no explosion nothing everything went quiet and normal...
Nobody could forget the day that time and what was more astonishing was nobody knew of this earth toppling disturbance of nature except the military present near the island.
It caused them to go cold!
They all recounted this incident to their respective nation and office, a big commotion was caused inside the government building and a huge meeting for the first time in the annual history of world had commenced it brought all the president, prime minister of all the countries in the world and found the United Organization to help if any of these incidents if it to ever occur again.
The once powerful and imperialistic Japan went cold and silent, the loss of 27 ships and many natural experienced talents caused them to go sad.
The democracy had taken power there.
It was a huge blow to officials of the world...
The Island is now considered as the most dangerous and restricted place on earth.
