16 Chapter 16

Fiona got up. Justin tried to wake her up. "We are about to reach."

She slowly opens her eyes. After a few seconds, she rubbed her eyes like a little kid, making her look adorable.

"Hey, we are about to reach." She responded by nodding her head.

"We are about to reach our destination in a few minutes, so please fasten your seat belts." The air hostess announced it.

Fiona still looked sleepy, so Justin helped her to tie the seat belt. He remembers when Fiona told him that she felt nauseous while traveling by plane, so he held her hand again when the plane landed. Fiona found it very sweet.

When the plane landed, they both went to collect their luggage. After collecting their bags, they went to the parking lot where the driver was waiting for them. Justin's parents frequently visited Paris to spend time alone, and they also hired him. So you could say the driver was reliable.

Fiona and Justin sat in the back seat, admiring the night view out the window.

"The city looks more beautiful at night." To which she smiled.

When they reached their hotel, they checked in. The whole time, Justin was holding Fiona's hand. Once they checked in, they saw their rooms. Fiona

gasps at the look of their honeymoon suite.

After refreshing themselves and filling their stomachs, they got ready for bed.

Oops!! Bed Shit!!

But Justin had some other things on his mind, so he took his pillow and went towards the couch in their room.

Justin was well aware that she would be uncomfortable sharing a bed with him.

"What are you doing, Justin?" Fiona asked in confusion.

"I am going off to sleep." He said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"No, I will take the couch, and you take the bed." She said.

"Well, I am a gentleman. So, you take the bed."

"I am a gentlewoman, so you take the bed."

"You take,"

"Now you take,"

"No, you,"

"No, you,"

"You,"

"You,"

"You,"

"You, you, you,"

"You, you, you, you, you,"

They didn't even realize that they were both too close for their own good. Once the realization hit them, both of them were silent and were having their

moments.

"You take the bed. I seriously don't mind." Justin said sincerely.

"But I don't want you to sleep on the couch." Fiona stated.

"Well, the same goes for you, but there is only one solution to that. We need to share a bed."

When Justin looked at his wife, it seemed like she was considering the option.

"Okay,"

"Okay! You fine with that?" He asked in surprise.

"Yes, it's not fair to you that I get to sleep in a bed and you on the couch or vice versa. Plus, the bed is big enough for both of us to sleep in."

"Are you sure? You sure that you won't get angry with me?" Justin confirmed it.

"I won't." She told him sincerely.

"Okay." He smiled at her.

"Trust me. I won't try anything on you."

"I do trust you, and even if you wanted to, you can't try anything on me."

"Is that a challenge I hear?"

"Yes, indeed it is. Unlike everyone I know, you are too innocent." She was teasing him.

"Hey, I can do anything to you, and no one can help you as people know we are husband and wife."

"Really?" She was laughing.

"You really have a colorful vocabulary. By the way, my dearest hubby, you are forgetting the fact that Em is on my speed dial. So, one call to her, and you

don't even want to know what will happen to you."

"Okay- okay, I give up. But it's not fair. Emily can really be scary."

"Hahaha, yes. That she can be."

Justin was putting some pillows to draw a divider between them for her sake. "Hmm, this will assure you that I won't try anything."

Fiona immediately removed the pillow between them. "You don't need to. I trust you." She assured him.

"Thank you, I trust you too." He smiled and nudged her stomach playfully.

She smiled.

Then they both slept in the same bed. Justin had a strange but happy feeling. He tried to ignore this foreign emotion and immediately drifted off to sleep.

Justin was happy as well as nervous about their sleeping arrangement and was dancing out of joy that she trusted him because he knew for a fact that he

could trust her with his life.

Fiona didn't know why, but she had this strange and happy feeling. She didn't lie when she told him that she trusted him because she definitely does. And she was glad that he trusted her too. So that's the reason she didn't mind sharing a bed with him, or is it another reason?

She ignored all these thoughts and feelings and drifted off to sleep.
