1 How it all started

"MOVE MOVE MOVE!" Shouted a shoulder

"Stay back Darick!" My friend, Patricia yelled

My friend was manipulating lightning to block all incoming attacks such as fireballs and water blast. I was running as fast as I could, constantly turning me head back and forth to make sure Patricia was okay. Patricia created an electric barrier to hold back the soldiers for a bit. Multiple soldiers flanked me and the were ready to strike but Patricia did an electric dash and pushed me out of the way.

"Go Darick, GO!" Patricia shouted

I looked at the soldiers beat up Patricia and I couldn't stand it so I threw a rock a at one of their heads and he immediately ran at me. Patricia used a lightning whip to grab him by the leg and slam him into the others.

"Are You a fool!? Run!!!!" Patricia shouted

The soldiers picked her up by the hair and started throwing her around. She tried to hold all of the back but then...it happened....A man came up behind me and Patricia let out an extremely loud and powerful beam of lightning that killed the man behind me and all the soldiers on top of her.

I ran up to her and I tried to drag her along.

"Go...." Patricia said weakly.

I almost started crying

"That move I just used was to powerful for my body to withstand...You'll have to go on without me..." She continued

I kept thinking to myself that this must've been some type of prank. There is no way that could've killed her!....right?

"I'm so...sorry....Darick....I'll remember all the little moments we've had and you should too! Here take this!" Patricia said, barely holding on to her life

Patricia handed me a syringe with the label "Ability Enhancer" on it

"Hurry up and inject it into yourself!" Patricia tried to shout

I did it and I felt no gain...

"Oh...No..You don't have an ability! Well then hurry or else they'll find out and kill you on the spot...hehe....Cya....later....kid"

Patricia said as she slowly closed her eyes

I started wailing at that point as I heard sirens go off. I quickly started climbing the fence and escaped.

(20 Days Later)

I walked the streets of a new town. Two drunken people started brawling in the middle of the streets. I random homeless man got up and started shouting, "Getcha Weapons! Go on! Get em!" as he unbuttoned his cloaked and revealed all of his weapons. One of them took a sword and the other took two daggers and then they continued the brawl.

The two were fighting to there hearts content. The man with the two daggers started shanking the woman with the sword and she responded to that by stabbing him in the back. I heard the voices of police so I ran into an alley and I found myself at a dead end. The police dealt with the situation and when they left I ran like the wind. When I reached Karma Peak I tripped on a rock and I fell all the way down the cliff.

I got back up my feet and I crossed Karma Bridge and then I heard, Grrrrrrr! It was the sound of a Manticore! I picked up a large rock and I aimed it at it and it was ready to pounce. The Manticore jumped up and I threw the rock. I hit it and it took it a while to get up so I took to opportunity to run.

I pick up two sticks and I continue my escape. The Manticore broke to boulder and it released its wings and began to fly at me. When it got close I smacked it with one of my sticks and it broke on contact, and just to make matters worse the Manticore got angrier and cut me.

I jab the Manticore with my stick and it had no effect. It pinned me to the ground then when I thought I was done for the Manticore stopped. It got off me and it started licking me! It went and gave me my sticks back. I was confused but then I heard many voices shouting about detaining me. It was obviously the military.

"Surrender Now!" One of the woman shouted

The Manticore was ready to attack but when I turned around all of their souls were blasted out of their body and instead of going to Heaven or Hell, Most likely Hell they all went into me. I felt this strange power bubbling inside of me. I felt powerful for once! I felt like I was unstoppable.

Many evil and tainted thoughts of revenge filled my head. I clear my mind and I transported me and the Manticore to Hades Forest so we could get some rest.....This....is how it all started!
