Conflicts of emotions

The meeting ended with other officials voting as yes for cloud seeding or artificial rains, Shaizlan was in happy mood the day was the happiest day for him. Even though he remained emotionless and aloof, his eyes has sparked thousands of emotions The day was quiet hectic for Azlain on the other hand she have to his shadow running back and forth. Not only this as to keep her pinky promise she was his right hand just to be close to her he would ask her to remove his coat, hand over the pen, hold his trembling hand while signing not only this he intentionally mar the tie so that he can call again and again.

Only few hours were left and Shaizlan saw how much tired she was, to refresh her he ordered two cappuccino her favourite as usual. The favourite of Azlain was now also becoming the liking of Shaizlan slowly he started enjoying her favourite food. She thanked him and asked him about the cloud seeding, she actually wanted to tell him how bad it will effect the nation but before that she needed his opinion and reason. She was not the type of person who would jump to conclusions by mere assumption.

Shaizlan was drinking his cappuccino trying to find more ways to make her stay with him. the moment he don't see her his heart become restless not only that he just can't see her any body. The transformation in his heart was something he was unsure of, he remembered when he asked Hugo to search about her, Hugo didn't find anything. Although Shaizlan was the present heir of the country he have many sources but he was shocked that he can't get any information about her. The more he was with her the more he wanted to know about her.

He said that the cloud seeding is arranged looking at the needs of people and when it comes to his people he readily takes action that requires his immediate attention. Besides the country have been technologically advanced now they are trying to minimise the after effects of cloud seeding.

However Azlain was not convince many other countries have done cloud seeding and they had succeeded but the cloud of Y country was more technologically advanced she was the one who had designed after Çinar pressured her for. Both the countries have used it before but the after math was dangerous too. Especially for the pregnant women.

"But you see the effects are more hazardous than other countries". she tried to argue.

"It's my country matter I will look after it." he said plainly not looking at her. The words if would have came out from someone else mouth she would have avoided it but Shaizlan.....

He always treated her different from others but with this words he tried to make a line between her and him. It was clear that he don't wanted her to change his decision when it comes to his policies and his country but other than that of he changes his decision now it would be clear that somewhere he lacks in analysing the situation which he don't wanted to show Azlain.

"Besides I need to think politically too." I need good production of food" he said sipping the cappuccino unaware what kind of situation he have lead himself into.

The word political made Azlain more furious she sense as if her Baba is speaking to her. The way he was concern with his country his people she sensed how even her Baba reacts. The only thing which she hated in her Baba is somehow resembles in Shaizlan too.

"What if you have to choose between your responsibilities and your love,who will you choose?" she blurt it out without thinking she wanted to know this badly. his decision have a tone of her Baba she can easily sense it that's why she asked him.

Shaizlan sensed that she is reacting differently, but he have to be honest with her. "Azlain I have been and raised to rule this country I can't sacrifice this country for the sake of my personal affairs".

Those words remind her about her Baba when he argued with her and asked to serve the nation that belongs to them. She vowed that time that she will find someone for whom the priority will be his family. but she was raised by servants by her friends her Baba was hardly there for her when she needed him most. this might be the reason she was against ruling besides she was aware of her father's habit of not trusting people and working all by himself and she have seen Shaizlan being paranoid.

as he spoke those words Azlain mind was cluster with thoughts that she was trying to avoid for long. was she destined to rule? She looked at her watch and without saying a word she left.

Shaizlan tried to stop her but she went out.

Shaizlan recalled what he might have said have hurt her but he wanted to be honest with her. He don't wanted to build his relationship with false hope. on the other hand Azlain was hurt by his answers but what made her more angry that why she was sad by his answers at the end it should not matter to her.
