Mystery inn (3)

I know that the prince is right here at Mystery inn with me. According to the commander, he is resting in the room opposite mine but there are guards keeping watch so it won't be easy for me to get into his room. But I need to meet the prince for me to implement my plan.

I have often watched on television that a woman's honor is everything to her and her family. And in a case where a royal member is involved then it can cause a catastrophe. The royals value their reputation more than anything. If the prince is accused of taking advantage of a girl then he will be forced to marry that girl.

Don't get me wrong it is not that I want to be in a relationship with the prince. I am not into men but what can I do I need the royal families to support so I have to do this. And in any case, royals often have more than one wives so the prince is sure to marry someone else alongside me so I shouldn't worry too much about my secret or being discovered after.

I will use the excuse of him taking advantage of me and act as I hate him more than the world itself then he won't come close to me. "Perfect, you are a genius, Landon."

The plan is set and ready but executing it is going to be an issue. How do I get him to be in a state that anyone would believe that he took advantage of me? How do I even meet this prince? My head hurts from all the thinking that I have been doing. I think that I should stop worrying about being in danger on this planet because I am going to grow old and die thinking about the prince of Arcadia.

I wait until the soldiers take a break and go down to the first floor to get some refreshments as I heard them say. I try to enter the prince's room but the door is locked and news flash opening the door with a hairpin as they do in movies doesn't work. I would know because I tried it, don't believe everything you watch. Television is a lie, I know it is ironic that I am warning against following what you see on the television when I am relying on it to survive here.

"Miss, do you need anything?" asked the housekeeper getting me out of my thoughts.

"No, thank you."

"Okay miss, I will see you," she says and an idea pops in my head.

"Wait," I say stopping her in her tracks. "I saw a man that looked like my husband come here to look for me and he booked the room opposite to mine. He is very bad and I afraid of him. I need your help to see if he is the one in the room or not. Can you assist me," I say feigning innocence as much as I can? Acting cute is not easy. She looks hesitant to help me. "Please, I will give you ten silver coins if you help me," I add and that seems to get her attention.

"Alright." She opens the door for me and we go to the room together. I pay her before she leaves the room. The prince is sleeping on the bed on his stomach, I can't see much of his face but he does have a nice back. His hair is long passing down his waist.

"How does he stand such long hair. Mine only reaches my shoulder and it irritates my skin so much I feel like cutting it off but I can't because I need it to pretend to be a girl. I look around the room and master every inch of it. This is the room that is going to bring my dreams to reality so it is very special to me.

Now that I am here I need to get my plan started. I need to create such a situation that the prince will have no choice but to take me back to the palace with him.

I take off my outer dress and remain only with the camisole. It is a red opaque camisole hence it is not see-through. That way my plan will push through and I won't be exposed. I tear the hand of my camisole on my shoulder slightly, then scratch myself so hard on my neck and shoulder. So it would look like an assault.

I tear my dress too so it would seem like he forcefully took my dress off. I move to the bed my body trembling, if he wakes up and gets angry he is capable of killing me. Being a human on a beast-infested planet is so hard. I climb the bed as gently as I can as not to wake him. I lie down next to him, I take his hand and gently put it on my stomach. I am so scared right now my soul could jump out of my body right now. I take a few deep breaths to calm down and scream.

The scream wakes up the prince and also gets the attention of the people in Mystery inn. The door is flung open and beast men and women came running into the room." What happened?" the innkeeper asked.

The prince turns around and looks at me, I forgot what it was I wanted to say and just stared back at him. His beautiful hazel eyes stared at me as though he could look into my soul. It made me breathless to look at him. Snap out of it Landon,' my mind scolded.

"Help me, he...he tried to...to," I cried getting back to my senses. I hold my face in my hands and cry out into them. I saw Lara do that once in the movie, she also didn't finish the sentence and the people were able to pick up what she was trying to say. I hope that beast also has the same mindset or all my plans might go to waste.

"Look that man forced himself on that young lady," said the housekeeper, and I smiled waiting for the drama to unfold.
