1 Synopsis
When the breeze is calm, expect the wild storm. It can't be always calm, and it can't be always war. There is space between them. But you still need to be careful.
My life was always like that. I need to be careful always. Para akong nabubuhay lamang dahil sa takot at sa panganib na mangyayari. Halos hindi magkamayaw ang ulo sa kakalingon kung may nakakakita ba sa akin o kung may nakasunod man.
Mom and I were hunted. I don't know why, tho. Mom wouldn't tell me. Until one day, while we're strolling in the forest, we were attack by giant dogs. Then they transform into human.
I'm aware of them tho. In our place, different creatures are hiding but not everyone's aware of it. There is still mere and ordinary human. And they have protector against us.
Us. Because we're one of those different creatures.
By the way, the werewolves asked Mom if she can give the "Pearl" and they won't harm us.
But Mom refuses.
I don't know what's with the pearl but it's something so important that they are ready to kill for it. After Mom refuses, they transform back to giant dogs and began to attack.
Good thing Mom is a witch. I'm a witch.
We immediately get our magic broom and fly with it. Muntikan pang naabot ng isang lobo ang paa ko. Good thing at nahila agad ako ni Mama. Kaya lang nasaktan niya ang lobong umaabot sa akin. Nakita ko pang nagdugo ang braso nito. Umalulong tuloy ang bawat lobo.
Nagtagal pa ang pananatili namin ni Mama sa himpapawid. Nakakasiguro kasi si Mama na may nagmamatyag sa amin sa ibaba. Kaya kinailangan pa namin silang iligaw bago kami bumaba. Ang bahay namin ay tago at halos hindi mapapansing may bahay ito.
Nilagyan ni Mama ng spell ang bahay para hindi ito makikita ng iba. Unless they'll use spell to see it. But I don't think they can. All my life I've learning all about magic and spell. But I can't make a spell that can prevent the spell of my Mom.
And that day was when Mom prohibited me to go out. No one of us can go out. And I understand that. I can't risk myself because I know Mom will worry and she might get in danger, too. That's why I behave like a puppy.
At ang pinagkaabalahan ko habang nakakulong sa bahay ay ang paghahanap ng kasagutan.
Kasagutan lalo na sa hinahanap ng mga lobo. Ang "Pearl" kung kanilang tawagin. Is it some kind of magic pearl or just an ordinary pearl? At bakit nila kinukuha ito kay Mama? Iyon ba ang dahilan kung bakit kami hinahabol at pinaghahanap? Iyon ba ang dahilan kung bakit kami nagtatago?
