87 Chapter 87- responsibility

Zhi Hei's anxiousness rose after hearing her say 'Long time no see.' He was very confused because she was unconscious for a day at most, but it wouldn't be considered as a 'long time.' Well.. to him, it felt like forever, but anyways....

Zhi Hei: "Are you feeling any discomfort anywhere?" He touched her rosy cheeks and massaged her arms and legs to make sure she's not in any pain.

Shi Xue: "Ahh.. it hurts" she said playfully.

Zhi Hei:" WHERE?" he retracted his hands from her body. He was afraid that he had made her feel pain on her body.

Shi Xue: "Right here" she pointed towards het chest area near her heart.

Zhi Hei: "Cest pain?? Hold on, I'll get Chen Mu."

When Zhi Hei got up from the bed, Shi Xue pulled onto his arm and his body lost balance. He blinked a few times before realizing that he was in her embrace. She was smiling sweetly and gorgeously while looking at him with affectionate eyes. Her eyes were a bit pink as she smiled. She looked so tempting and innocent. He touched her cheeks sensing something felt off...

"What's wrong? Are you feeling pain?"

She nodded slightly and pointed to her chest once again. She took his hand and placed it on her chest to let him feel her heart beat. "Only you can heal this wound."

Zhi Hei was even more confused by her current words. He sat up immediately and rubbed her warm cheeks. "Are you okay?"

Shi Xue smiled and answered, "The gun shot wound left a tiny scar, do you want to see it?" she giggled.

His eyes widened as he muttered in disbelief, "y...you..."

"mmm" she nodded.

"You remembered?"

"mmm. From how we met to the last time I saw you. It's been too long." her eyes swelled up. Her eyes smiled along with her warm smile.

He was still shocked from her sudden memory recovery, "Then... you remember who I am?"

"Of course." She nodded as she stroked his face.

"Even memories from the past few months we were together?"

"Everything." she smiled lovingly. Her sweet voice melted his heart.

"R..really?" he repeatedly asked. She chuckled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Do you want to test me? But, rather than testing through answering your questions, I'd rather do this." Her smooth pink lips touched his cold lips. She kissed him passionately and the kisses gradually became rougher and more sloppy. Sounds of slurps filled the room. It wasn't until Shi Xue ran out of breath that they stopped. She had a bit of trouble breathing, but slowly recovered. Her face was now flushed similar to flowers blossoming in Spring. So beautiful.

After he became completely sure that she remembered the memories they've had in the past, he hugged her tightly in his embrace. His body trembled slightly expressing his excitement. He had thought of the countless times and possibilities of when she might recover her memories, but never expected it to be like this. Best of all, she still remembered their past months together.

Chen Mu had been standing by the door watching the affectionate couple and their intimate acts. He didn't dare interrupt their little reunion because the devil would've flipped out or glared at him. Sigh, so hard to do one check up...

After seeing the two separate from each other's embrace, he walked in and coughed. He walked over to give her a thorough check up and took some of her blood sample to make sure that everything is alright. The couple looked like they had a lot to tell each other so he quickly excused himself.

After he left, Zhi Hei sat by her side as she laid in bed.

Zhi Hei: "Still feeling dizzy?"

Shi Xue: "A little. But it'll go away soon."

Zhi Hei: "Mmm rest well. I'll be here watching you."

Shi Xue: "But I have something I want to tell you..and I'm not sleepy either"

Zhi Hei smiled, "Sure, if you want to say anything, I'll listen." he rubbed her head gently.

Shi Xue: "When I was unconscious, I had a very very long dream. I was in a very dark place with no light or humans. I only heard familiar voices as I ran around trying to find an exit. Unfortunately, no matter how long I ran, i didn't see any light. You know how people always say that those who are near death would have flashbacks of their past? It's true. It happened to me. While I ran around in the dream, pictures were slowly passing by me. I slowly remembered what had happened in teh past and the events leading up to how I am currently. When I felt the most helpless in getting myself out of the situation, I heard your voice calling my name repeatedly. I followed your voice and saw you the first thing I opened my eyes."

Zhi Hei hugged her tightly, "It's great that you're awake now. I missed you so much."

Shi Xue returned his hug and said, "There are so many things I haven't done. I wouldn't dare die without doing any of them. "

Zhi Hei: "What is it that you wanted to do?"

Shi Xue smiled emotionally as she whispered, "Tell you that I love you and want to spend the rest of my time with you. I have many many plans for us in the future. "

Zhi Hei's heart beat faster and faster after hearing her sweet confession into his ears, "S..say that again??"

Shi Xue, "I said that I love you. Unless you don't want to take responsibility for me, or else I'll be yours.. no you'll forever be mine regardless! are you ready for me?"

Zhi Hei smiled joyfully, "I've been yours since the first time we've met. There is no need for any preparation, because you've been and will always be mine alone. "

Shi Xue chuckled and gave him a peck on his lips, "Ah! I remember hearing mother Huang whispering to my ears before! something about revenge. She smirked mischievously.

Zhi Hei smiled at his already so energetic wife as he stroked her hair. "Mmm, they're all downstairs torturing the Xia's. Shi Xue tilted her eyebrow up and questioned, "Xia family? them again? Zhi Hei: "no, let my parents have some fun after retiring for too long. Meanwhile... we can... do something.. ourselves... he grinned.
