Chapter 13- Unconscious

Zhi Hei strode in large steps, revealing his nervousness for once. He approached the girl whose breathing was so weak that he could barely detect her existence. He brushed her hair gently away from her face.

His pupils constricted as he stared at her filled with gentle eyes. Then, he noticed blood stains covering her whole back and clothes. Her legs were filled with scratches and body had obviously been through brutal attacks.

The air around the deck turned chilly and cold as if the temperature had dropped 5 degrees. "Get Chen Mu ready by the dock. Get back to the shore within 15 minutes or less. If we don't, then all of you will receive punishment!"

The man gently held the shivering girl in his arms as if she was a fragile precious gem easily shattered with just a touch. He held her in his embrace, ignoring the existence and shocked expressions on the staff's face. After he left, the guards and even Shen Qi looked in astonishment.

"Oh my god! What did I just see? So, our master whom we even questioned his sexuality just this morning was actually not gay????? So many of us will have our hearts broken.... What????" Shen Qi said.

" Q...quickly somebody contact Doctor Chen before we each lose a limb and see it fed to fishes!!!! And captain.. c...captainn!!! Quick we need to hurry up and get to the shore within 15 minutes! I don't want to feed the fishes!!!!! I don't want to be fish food like that spy!" One of the guards said in panic.

Shen Qi came back to his senses and snapped out of his daze. He quickly announced for everyone to clean up the dead corpses and scrub the deck to rid of any evidences on the cruise.

Inside Shen Qi's mind: 'Aye, my Buddha lord. What did you want to do? Who is that girl? Did you randomly catch your interest on a maiden and decided to play my life as if the everyday workload isn't enough to kill my weak heart?? Ahhhhhhh'

Shen Qi quickly rushed to the room where Zhi Hei had brought the unknown lady to rest in.

He knocked on the door and walked in to see the mighty boss who could care less for other's lives holding onto the miss's hands with a deep crease between his eyebrows.

As Shen Qi stepped closer to the bed to report that everything has been cleaned up, he was signaled to be quiet. Zhi Hei placed his index finger on his lips and looked at him as if he was interrupting them.

A deep voice filled the room as Zhi Hei spoke to the girl in bed.

"Shi Xue... Shi Xue .. Please be alright..." Shen Qi observed on how his boss' fingers never left the girl's wrist to make sure she still had a pulse. Whenever the girl in bed gasped or shivered from pain, Zhi Hei would unconsciously squeeze her hand a little harder. This was a side that Zhi Hei had never shown to anyone before. Even Shen Qi was shocked by his discovery.

Recalling the coldness on the deck...

The guard who responded saying they were going to throw the girl back into the waters has goosebumps all over his body. He recalled his boss' intensive gaze from earlier and wondered if he should write a personal apology letter to the miss. If anything happens to her, boss might actually destroy the whole universe!

'Please let this miss be alright... or the bodies of those who came in contact with her would be burned alive to accompany the miss.' The guard silently pleaded.

Shen Qi thought to himself... 'If anything happens to this miss whom is some miraculous creature because she could trigger their boss to such extent... then, the world will definitely end... Forget this job.. maybe I should mutate to a different species and still I wouldn't survive...'
