Some few years back.....

This particular December was much colder than any December had passed in the city of New York. There were less cars on the road given the heavy downpour of snow.

But in the midst of all these, the angel of death stared with little curiosity in his eyes as he looked upon the little girl that was laid down on the hospital bed. Her mother who was sitting down by her side was crying furiously at the sight of her baby girl looking so frail and pale. No matter the amount of times the doctor had told her that her daughter wouldn't make it through the night, she didn't bother to believe in that nonsense. Her daughter wasn't weak, in fact she was the polar opposite, so she definitely knew she would get through it. But still, it was beyond heart breaking staring down at her princess in such a state.

She placed both her hands together and began praying to the being who dwelled above. That was practically all she could do at the moment.
