Chapter 19

While flying Solomon turned to Elijah and said "Once you reach the place you should be able to instantly project there again instead of just flying but right now your Spirit Level isn't high enough for that."

They ended up flying a lot higher than normal to cover more ground. They finally landed near this small Mt.

"Alright Your highness we need to hurry up I'm getting hungry ,It doesn't take a lot of Spirit Power to Astral project but I'm burning a lot of energy right now" said Elijah.

"Yea I know kid but we're already here." Said Solomon

"Here? it's on this Mt. side?" Asked Elijah "Yea it's an old rune the foxes used to mine Spirit Gems back in my time,this is the Vixens turf but this rune is that of the Ninetails family." Said Solomon.

They were looking at a cave with some old wooden doors on the outside.

"Why are we so far? It's not like people can see us". Said Elijah.

"A guard comes by here every hr in her beastmen form. I can't tell how strong she is or if you can even out run her" replied Solomon.

"Beastmen!? form oh right this is their territory so they can do that."Elijah thought to himself.

Moments later Elijah and Solomon see a fox beastmen in her Beastmen form in ninja clothing walk around the entrance to the rune.

"You know now that I'm thinking about it, it looks more like a  rune than a mine". Says Solomon.

"Some branch family members are probably buried here."

The Female fox beastmen disappears with almost lightning speed.

"So it looks like she's at a variant level. you are not ready to face her yet not by yourself at the least'' Said Solomon.

"What are we going to do then wait till I can?" Replied Elijah.

"No you can't face her but you might be able to outrun her, let's head inside".

They fly over to the old looking door and pass right through it once they do it seems they flew for 10 mins until they finally saw the main hall. It was a big open space with the Ninetails coat of arms hanging from either side , the only way they were able to see was because of the light crystals. There were only two hallways one on either side that had the  Ninetails coat of arms above it which was a small red fox with nine large tails, the base color of the flag white with a red outline.

They still have the same one today.

"How do you know which one it is or what hall to go down?" Asked Elijah.

"I don't know if the wielder passed down the weapon to his son but since your  great great grandfather and grandsons killed off a lot of branch family members I'm sure it's here Buried with them."

Elijah didn't hear about that and he was kind of confused on what Solomon just said.

"That's why a lot of members from the Ninetails clan joined the Vixens Clan and they rose in Nobility or there family would have died off entirely. Then the Vixen clan expanded their territory and had a stable foundation to not get bullied by the Ninetails anymore". Said Solomon.

"Maybe that's why Naomi didn't look completely disgusted like the other nobles do when looking at me". Elijah thought.

They started looking at names on tombs. In the left hallway but didn't recognize any of the names. They go to the one on the right and Solomon finally finds the right one.

"Alright this guy has to be Victor Ninetails this was the First wielder's son so he should have it." Solomon says.

Solomon put his head in the tomb to see and only his body was still showing. He popped back up fast.

"It's not here check that one down by you that should be this guy's son."

Elijah did just as Solomon did and put his head in the coffin. Elijah saw a skeleton and a black staffed spear. He pops his head back up.

"I think this is it, come check." Elijah said. "The skeleton didn't freak you out". Asked Solomon.

Elijah made a face. (-.-)

"I'm talking to a 400 year old Spirit-Soul right now so not really."

"Right". Solomon said checking the tomb.

"This is definitely it." Said Solomon with this you'll definitely increase your power. Elijah started to get excited.

"Ok so what now?"

"Now you get out of here because you have been away from your body long enough I'll see you in the morning,'' said Solomon. "Sounds good". Elijah replied.

Elijah thought back  to where his body was and in an instant he was transported there. As soon he woke up Elijah's stomach growled. After eating something he realized he never even once  attempted to use his shadow abilities yet. Elijah started to look for a shadow in his room then focused on it. A few moments past and then Elijah said.

"So much for shooting like a shadow blast or something." Elijah had heard that most elemental based powers are pretty flexible  and up to the imagination of the user, although there are common practices among the users to become more powerful it's all about coming up with something different.

Elijah focused on the shadow again and this time he tried to consume it, as soon as his hand came up to do so the shadow flew from the ground into his hand.

"WOW so i really am A Void Shadow Walker" Elijah said to himself.

"Consuming shadows, what could I do with that?...  Add it to my own power?"
