2 2 First Hidden Clan
"Wh-what-tt b-b-bad n-n-news?" Urie glitchily asked as his features turned blurry and sketchy.
"Your Plate was hit by lightning! Your signal will be unstable until something is fixed!" Arie informed.
The glitches slowly subsided until Urie's features became clear.
"Damn! That processed a lot slower than what it seems!" Urie exclaimed when the glitch subsided.
"What should I do about your plate?" Arie asked.
"I'll log out and do something about it- wait... Where's the log out button?" Urie stopped when he noticed that in his interface, there's no log out button.
"What do you mean? Just access the menu and below the stats, there's the Log Out button!" Arie instructed.
"Seriously? There's no button here! Nothing is at the bottom part of the interface!" Urie exclaimed.
"What should we do, brother?" Arie anxiously asked.
"Let's first calm down and think about it!" Urie calmly suggested, and they both sat down to think.
"How about sending a Quick Report to the Developers?" Urie suggested.
"How should we do that?" Arie asked.
"Log out for a few minutes to send them the mail, let's finish what we need to do after you come back!" Urie instructed.
"Okay, I'll head now so we can finish what we have to do here!" Arie nodded as he called out the interface and pressed log out.
His body disperses into light particles.
"What to do?" Urie asked himself while looking around, examining the environment and also trying to find signs of a Slime Beast that might be around.
While walking, he noticed that his right hand was pixelated as he inspected it and tried to touch a tree, but his hand just passed through.
"Am I still glitching?" He thought to himself as he tried to touch the tree using his other hand but nothing happened, it didn't pass through like what happened to his other hand.
"Hmm, what could have happened?" Urie asked himself while observing the glitch.
"Brother!" Arie called out as soon as he logged in again.
"What's their response?" Urie asked.
"They told me they will fetch your body without removing the headset because your body might be in a state of deep sleep when the lightning struck, but they told me to log out within an hour in real life to prevent the same event from happening," Arie told the response of the company regarding his condition.
"How long did it take you to email and get the response?" Urie asked.
"Overall? Probably around 30 minutes," Arie responded.
"So it's 1 hour and 30 minutes here, I've been standing beside this tree for an hour and 30 minutes! It felt like it just took me 3 minutes!" Urie exclaimed when he realized something.
"Are you glitching again?" Arie asked.
"I don't know either," Urie shrugged his shoulders.
"Okay, for now, let's finish your quest. What is it again?" Arie asked.
"Bring a slime back to the old lady at the Clan Tent," Urie informed him as they strolled through the entire forest to find a slime.
While walking around, a green slime passed in front of them, bouncing in a certain direction.
"Come on, bro! Catch it!" Arie urged when they encountered the slime.
"Wait a minute, its movements are strange. If it's stationary, it should move around a certain area, but it's moving towards a single area. Look!" Urie pointed towards the distance and saw a blue slime going in the same direction where the green slime is going.
"Let's follow them! We might find out something interesting!" Urie grinned as they silently followed the marching slime.
The two kept on following the slimes until they reached an open lake with murky waters and in the middle, a golden slime with a crown was silently sitting on a large lily pad as if it was looking down on the slimes that are swimming towards him. If they considered their actions as swimming or floating?
"I want to catch that golden slime!" Urie exclaimed.
"What will you do to tame it? It looks like it's too prideful to even consider joining you?" Arie asked.
"Little brother, there are two ways to do this, first is to approach them friendly if they are friendly in nature, if they are too arrogant or prideful, there's one thing to do to tame them!" Urie smirked.
"What's that?" Arie asked.
"Give them what they hated the most to break their pride!" Urie smiled evilly as he stood up.
"Wait for me here, I'll be back!" Urie instructed as he ran back to where they came from.
While Arie was waiting, Urie ran back to the town and bought a bucket with his initial coins given by the system.
After buying a bucket, he scooped up clean water from the well of the town and brought it back to the forest.
"I'm back!" Urie greeted as soon as he saw Arie.
"Where have you been? Good thing that arrogant slime didn't move a bit!" Arie scolded his older brother.
"I came back to the town to get this, now this is what you need to do," Urie put the bucket with clean water down.
"See that lily pad over there? I'll ride that and ask Hanin to fan the lily pad towards the golden slime and I'll take care of the rest!" Urie smiled evilly when he saw the prideful and arrogant attitude of the golden slime displays.
Everything went according to his plan as his lily pad slowly moved towards the lily pad where the golden slime was.
As he kept moving closer, the information interface of the slime slowly became visible to him.

When the lily pad got close to the Slime King, Urie made an enormous leap towards the lily pad of the Slime King as an exclamation mark appeared above it.
"Now that I got into you, let's get straight to the point! Willingly come to me or I'll pour this bucket of clean water to you!" Urie evilly grinned towards the Slime King.
The Slime King didn't budge a bit, but it became more arrogant.
"Okay, you asked for this!" Urie grinned as he lifted the bucket and poured a handful of water on the Slime King.
As soon as the water hit the slime, it wobbled in place as if they hurt it a lot.

"Does it hurt? Don't worry, there's more to come!" Urie evilly looked at the golden slime with a smirk.
He kept repeating the process until the Slime King slowly crept to his foot as if it was begging for mercy.
"Now, are you willing to come now?" Urie took out the Capture Crystal.
A light beam shone at the Slime King and after a few moments, a card hovered to where the Slime King was.

Urie took the card as it flew towards the book in his inventory.

"A passive ability that can be toggled? Awesome! Better keep this on!" Urie excitedly thought as he waved the card towards Arie.
When he did it, he lost balance and fell on the murky lake.
The slimes around the area dived deep and in a few moments, Urie was already floating with the slimes of different colors carrying him back to land.
"Woah! So cool! Slimes carried you back here!" The event that took place before his own eyes amazed Arie.
"It's the ability of the Slime King, anyway, let's get going and hurry back to the town!" Urie instructed as they ran back to the town without noticing that the surrounding slimes were following.
As soon as they reached the Town of Beginnings, Urie saw the old woman standing outside the Clan Recruitment Team and greeted them.
"Show me! Show me the slime!" The old lady excitedly greeted them.
While Urie was taking out the Slime King Card, the old woman suddenly shouted.
"SLIMES! LOTS OF SLIMES!" She jumped from too much excitement as she picked up the surrounding slimes.
"This is the Slime King Card, take this as the requirement for the quest!" Urie handed the card.
The old lady pushed the card back to him and smiled.
"These slimes are enough for me! Keep that, you worked hard for it!" The old lady smiled as she handed a pouch towards the young man.
"Thank you!" Urie thanked the old woman.
The old woman just waved her hand, gesturing for him to get away.
"Slimes! I love slimes!" The last words the brothers heard as they got away from the old lady.
