3 Heavenly Sword Gate

After traveling in the air for another two days, the twins and their master arrived above the Heavenly Sword Gate. The Heavenly Sword Gate is surrounded by large peaks and flowing waterfalls, as well as a large river that flowed down from the very top to the bottom all the way outside of the sect gate.

"We're here, don't say anything until I say you can." their master told them.

"Uhm." the twins replied. As they landed at the very gates of the sect, Daoist Li returned his flying sword as his crane flew off deep inside the sect. The twins followed closely behind the old daoist as they came closer to the gates that were guarded by disciples in blue and white robes. "Ah! Great elder! The Great elder has returned!" one of the disciples exclaimed.

Ding! Ding!

"Quickly inform the elders, the Great elder has returned!" another disciple rung a bell as he used his Qi to transmit his words throughout the sect. The twins were enjoying the scenery until they heard the two words 'Great Elder'. "So it turns out that master is the Great elder of the Heavenly Sword Gate." Mo Fan thought.

Mo Yingyue's eyes became slightly bigger and sharper as she heard that for a few seconds before her eyes returned to normal as they continued trailing behind their master. The twins looked around to see disciples running around minding their own business in different colored robes.

As the trio walked by, the disciples bowed and cupped their hands saying "Welcome back, Great elder."

Large buildings and hallways of all sizes were placed around the Heavenly Sword Gate in perfect symmetry. Some of the buildings had different symbols placed directly above whilst in between the river that drifted along the sect was a large statue of a great figure in a Daoist robe holding a divine sword in his right hand.

After walking for a while, did the trio finally stop in front of the building placed in the middle but far in the back of the sect. Above that building, a sign read 'Tingjian Hall', with lanterns hanging off both sides between the beams of wood that had the character for sword written on them.

As they got closer to the door, as if they could open by themselves, the doors slowly opened as the trio walked inside the Tianjian hall. Mo Fan looked around and saw many paintings and scriptures along with lines and lines of calligraphy on the walls. Some old men with both black and white hair in blue and white robes with a different design than those of disciples sat on cushions surrounding the trio.

Mo Fan also noticed a female wearing a slightly different colored robe sitting close to the middle of the hall where Mo Fan presumed is where the Sect leader of the Heavenly Sword Gate sat.

"Greetings Great Elder," the elders said in unison.

The Sect leader who appeared to be quite young with black hair, wearing a black and blue robe greeted, "Welcome back martial uncle."

Daoist Li moved an arm up and replied "Oh no, this is an official meeting. You must call me Great Elder Li"

"Of course." the Sect leader replied. He then saw the twins behind daoist Li and asked, "May I ask who these two are?". Daoist Li laughed as he looked at all the elders slowly and replied,

"Them? They're my disciples"

"What? Your disciples?" some elders said in shock.

"To think Great elder Li would actually accept disciples in the years that he had left the sect!" another elder said.

"Silence! We must not cause a scene." the Sect leader stopped them.

"I see, so how did you meet them?" he then asked. "Oh, I was on my way back when I sensed a strange presence in their village. By the time I arrived, everyone but the two siblings was left." Daoist Li replied slowly.

"I see, that is most unfortunate for them. I guess it must be fate that led you to the two of them. Everyone may leave now, I have something to discuss with the Great elder." the Sect leader dismissed.

"Yes, Sect leader." the elders replied as they disappeared from their seats. "I wonder how high their cultivation is." Mo Fan thought when he saw the elders turn into smoke as if they had never been there in the first place.

The Sect leader stood up as the trio followed behind to another room located close to the Tianjian hall. "Now that the elders are gone, martial uncle to think your hair became whiter in only a couple years!" the Sect Leader laughed.

"You punk laughing at your martial uncle huh? Back then when your master accepted you as his disciple, who was it that babied you like family giving you resources making the man you are today?" Daoist Li laughed and replied.

"Ah? Please don't mention that! Especially in front of your disciples! You must leave me some face!" the Sect leader pleaded.

"..."

"..."

The twins looked at each other in the eyes and giggled hearing the interaction between the sect leader and their master. After walking for a few minutes, they arrived in a dark room filled with silver lining across the entire room.

In the center of the room lied an orb sitting atop what seemed to resemble an altar. The orb was colorless and lifeless until the Sect leader came close to it and channeled his qi into it making it glow pure white as the illusion of the huge golden sword appeared behind the orb shining down brightly across the room.

"Now, it's time to test their potential." the Sect leader said. Daoist Li nodded as he looked at the twins with a slight look of anticipation. The twins looked slightly nervous hearing this making their master laugh "It's okay, even if your talent isn't high you will still be my disciples"

Mo Fan thought "A test of talent? How does that orb test our potential?". As he thought about this, Mo Yingyue went up first and got close to the orb. "Place your hand above the orb and stand still." the Sect leader said.

As Mo Yingyue placed her exquisite and small slender and on the orb, within just a few seconds, a blinding blue light shone inside the orb whilst shaking the entire hall. When the light slowly dimmed, all of them looked at the orb which had the character 'Tian' floating inside the orb.

The entire hall began to be covered in thick crystal blue ice while the temperature began to drop making Mo Fan shiver as snot dripped out his nostrils. The Sect leader and daoist Li protected themselves and Mo Fan with qi as the ice continued growing.

The Sect Leader, as well as Daoist Li, saw this, the two of them dropped onto their knees which a shocked expression. "Martial Uncle, could this be?" the Sect Leader stuttered as he spoke.

"It can only be! It seems like the Heavens themselves have blessed our Heavenly Sword Gate!" Daoist Li replied.

"Master, what do you mean by that?" Mo Fan asked.

"Hahahahahaha do you see the word Heaven inside the orb? It means your sister is suitable for cultivation! In fact, she's extremely suitable for cultivation. Her talent is incredible if using numbers would make it easier to understand just how talented she is, Yingyue is a genius that would only appear once every ten thousand years!" daoist Li laughed.

"Ten thousand years?" Mo Fan said with astonishment, to him who had only lived for a short sixteen years, it seemed like something that was beyond his reach and understanding.

"The Heaven that the orb displays means that she has a Heaven level Physique! Not only that, but it's also the Heavenly Yin Physique making her extremely suitable for Ice and Yin related techniques. With her physique, what others would need to spend one or even two years of effort, she would only need a single week to achieve!" The Sect leader continued.

"That's incredible! But what exactly does the Heaven level mean?" Mo Fan asked.

"That's right since you haven't cultivated naturally you would not know what it means." Daoist Li replied. "On this continent, there exist some incredible geniuses with many types of physiques making them truly stand out amongst their peers of the same generation".

"Just like martial arts and cultivation techniques, physiques too have their own levels. They are in order from lowest to highest, Human level, Earth level, Heaven level, True level, and God level. Your sister's Heavenly Yin Physique is of the Heaven level!"

"Though there is a God level, it is also called a myth. Since ancient times there have been no records of anyone having a God level physique, hence the True level is considered to be the highest level even throughout the many realms." Daoist Li continued explaining.

Hearing this, Mo Fan was both astonished and happy for his little sister. Mo Yingyue heard her master's explanation as she ran into Mo Fan's arms and spoke "Ge, isn't Yingyue amazing? Aren't I?"

Mo Fan smiled as he rubbed the top of her head and replied softly "Of course, my sister is not only the cutest but the most talented." Mo Yingyue giggled softly as she was pleased by the praise.

"Now now, it's time for Mo Fan to test his talent!" Daoist Li smiled as he watched the two siblings interact with the utmost care for each other. Removing herself from Mo Fan's embrace, Mo Yingyue stood to the side as Mo Fan took a deep breath and swallowed a mouthful of saliva down his throat.

Though he knew it would come, he couldn't help but feel nervous, especially after seeing the talent his sister who he had always thought to be just a cute little girl displayed. Putting his hand forward slowly, Mo Fan touched the surface of the orb as the temperature around the hall began rising to extreme levels.

"Hot, it's hot!" The Sect leader said as he formed a protective barrier of Qi around himself and Mo Yingyue. The talent testing orb shone a bright orange light before the light orange color started to become darker in color.

"Brat, let us help you." a familiar voice resounded in Mo Fan's mind as the heat continued rising. From the inside of the orb, the character for 'Di' was displayed as the flames inside the orb had two shades of light and dark orange.

The Sect leader, as well as daoist Li's eyes, glistened with extreme delight as they both laughed like two madmen. "Hahahahahaha, hahaha!!!". "The Heavens have truly blessed our sect with both the Heavenly Yin Physique as well as the Nine Earthen Yang Physique!" they both shouted in unison.

Just as they finished speaking, the orb cracked and shattered into a million pieces under Mo Fan's monstrous talent, that had never before been seen throughout the history of the Heavenly Sword Sect. As soon as the orb shattered, the heat in the hall disappeared as though it were never there in the first place.

"Ah! The orb!" The Sect leader cried as he kneeled in front of the orb. "Well what's some talent testing orb when we have two geniuses!" he laughed afterward. This quick change in emotion caused Mo Fan to fall on his butt with a puzzled expression.
