16 For Xuebing Mountain

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Four figures dashed through the harsh wastelands as they seemed to be venturing off in a singular direction. As they continued transversing on for half a day, they stopped moving and found a place to rest for the night.

That night, while the meat they had hunted was being roasted over a large campfire, one of the four figures spoke, "Yue er, be a good girl and stay here for this mission. Since you're only a Spiritual Cultivator, with your current strength, I'm afraid something will happen."

"En. I'll stay here and practice with master's kitty. Be careful, even if the Sect leader himself ventured in there, he might die if he wasn't careful." a beautiful young maiden of only sixteen years of age replied.

Even though on the Tianhai continent, once someone is sixteen; they are already adults. However, for an older brother, their younger sister will always be a little child in their eyes.

The young man who had spoken was obviously Mo Fan, next to him, Ye Wen sat quietly while waiting for the meat to finish cooking. As for the Iron Winged Tiger, it was having a nap over on the side, right next to the huge carcass of a Ferocious beast that the two brothers had hunted earlier.

A short while later, the meat was perfectly roasted and ready for seasoning. Mo Fan took the meat off the flame and put it to the side, before sprinkling some herbs onto the tender meat.

Without waiting for it to cool down, he ripped apart a leg and handed it to Ye Wen, who took off a large chunk with one bite. Mo Fan then ripped off another one and blew onto it a few times, before handing it over to Mo Yingyue.

He then ripped another leg off and took a bite out of it for himself. "Delicious!" he thought while he was eating.

As for the rest of the meat, the Iron Winged Tiger woke up once Mo Fan gave it the rest of the meat. In just a few moments, the big cat devoured the entire thing before returning to its nap time.

Once they finished their meal, the three young adults began to cultivate on their own. Mo Yingyue practiced beside the Iron Winged Tiger, while Ye Wen went off nearby on his own. As for Mo fan, he moved away a bit as he began to start cultivating a Spiritual cultivation technique.

The technique he had received naturally came from the Beast Monument. With so many legendary beasts contained within, of course, there would be those that practiced Spiritual cultivation rather than physically.

Closing his eyes and sitting cross-legged in a lotus position, Mo Fan began practicing according to the scroll within his mind. By absorbing the Qi in the surrounding area, and directing it not only within his dantian; but also throughout every meridian within his body, Mo Fan's internal organs would also be strengthened to a higher degree.

Since he was only in the Body Tempering realm, the amount of Qi that he could use was almost nill. Even the strongest of techniques would be incredibly weakened thanks to the low amount of Qi that could be used by those in the Body Tempering realm.

Only once one has stepped into the Qi Controlling realm, also known as the Qi Acquisition realm, would one have a much larger reserve within their dantian known as the Spiritual Sea, would one then be able to use Qi in their attacks.

The technique that Mo Fan was practicing now, is known as the Nine Extreme Yang Spiritual Body technique. Despite its name, it was not a Body refining technique, but rather, a Spiritual cultivation technique.

The technique was perfect for Mo Fan, who was born with the tyrannical Nine Extreme Yang physique. When practicing this technique, even while being in the Body Tempering realm, one would be able to form a Spiritual sea!

It was as though the technique was made solely for Mo Fan!

While others could also cultivate this technique, it would only grant them a small advantage over those at the same stage, while posing a large amount of danger to the user if they were not suitable for Yang type techniques.

Around Mo Fan's body, the Qi around an area of a thousand li was being sucked into his body like a hurricane. Deep within his body, the Qi was flowing through each and every meridian within him.

After passing through his meridians, the Qi would then pass through his internal organs, before finally entering his dantian. Even though he was crazily devouring the Qi, by the time it reached his dantian, only a single drop was produced at a time.

Even though only a single drop was being produced, one should not underestimate it. While the quantity is extremely low in comparison, the density is many times stronger than the norm. Not only that, it meant he could store a larger amount of Qi within his body with a dantian that was the same size as the average person!

If one were to look carefully within Mo Fan's body, they would realize that the Qi was being stored in nine different places at once! Normally, Qi would be stored within the Spiritual sea which there is only one within the dantian.

It was easy to tell how tyrannical Mo Fan's technique was compared to others! Of course, this was only possible thanks to Mo Fan's inborn talents, others who wanted to try the same thing would only fail miserably in their attempts.

The Nine Extreme Yang body was like its name implied. Nine peaks would slowly be formed over time, with each peak being stronger than the other, while also storing a larger amount than the other.

Currently, Mo Fan was trying to slowly form the very first peak, which would be formed when the nine locations joined together as one and form a single entity. Of course, this was a long process.

Even while crazily devouring a large amount of Qi from the heaven and earth, only a tiny amount was being produced at a time. At this rate, who knew how long it would take for Mo Fan to successfully form the first of the nine peaks.

After a while, Mo Fan knew that going any further was pointless. Instead, he stopped absorbing Qi inside his body and tried to direct it towards Mo Yingyue.

With his legs still crossed, Mo Fan began reciting the Invincible Beast Body technique within his mind while gritting his teeth to bear the extreme pain that came along with it. The more he practiced, the more pain he would feel.

At the same time, his pain tolerance would improve greatly while also making his body even tougher. With each breakthrough he made, even if it were just a small realm, his body would undergo a complete transformation as though he were being reborn over and over again.

The same could be said for Ye Wen's situation. His body would also become tougher with each breakthrough, which meant that by the time he would reach the Qi Controlling realm, he would already be able to contend with those at the Core Creation realm!

This was an obvious outcome, with the amount of pain Mo Fan and Ye Wen faced while refining their bodies over and over again, undergoing such a torturous method that others couldn't even imagine, it was no wonder they had such a great battle prowess that no other could compete with.

Not only was this a naturally slow and arduous process, but it was also extremely painful. While the number of Body refiners was low in number, it didn't mean they didn't exist. Even then, the pain they would feel when refining as compared to what Mo Fan and Ye Wen felt was the difference between the heaven and earth!

If the two were to swap techniques to other ones that the average refiner used, the pain they would feel wouldn't even make them bat an eyelid, that was just how much more painful the Invincible Beast Body and the Dragon Gods Body techniques were.

If one were to ask if they were willing, the two would obviously tell them that they were willing. The faster they became stronger, the faster they would be able to get revenge for their families!

This was what drove them to go to such extreme measures. While Mo Fan was practicing, he noticed that he was close to making a breakthrough to the Body Tempering stage two. With his predictions, he would be able to make the breakthrough within the next month at most.

*************

After a night's rest, Mo Fan and Ye Wen prepared to leave at dawn. "We'll be back soon, remember if the situation becomes dangerous, run away as fast as you can. If you can't then remember to crush the jade that master gave you." Mo Fan reminded his sister.

"En, I know, come back soon." Mo Yingyue replied.

Nodding his head, Mo Fan and Ye Wen released their seals completely as they dashed off far into the distance at full speed. Below them, the ground cracked, creating small craters with each and every step they took.

With a single step, they both covered a distance of over twenty meters even without a movement technique. The benefit of having such a powerful body was that not only did they possessed unparalleled strength, they also had an impenetrable body and extreme speed.

Just a dozen or so minutes later, Mo Fan and Ye Wen could see a snow-filled land below them. As they went in closer, a large snowstorm blew into their faces.

Fortunately, they were almost entirely immune to heat and cold, which meant they didn't need anything to block off the extreme temperature. They ran across the blizzard as though they were running around in their backyard.

Crossing through the blizzard without slowing down, Mo Fan and Ye Wen were surrounded by a vast land of white. The only thing they could see was snow, mist, and a humungous mountain in front of them.

Just from making an estimation, the mountain seemed to be over ten thousand meters. As they continued dashing through the snow, they could see the shadows and footprints left behind by Ferocious beasts.

The two brothers continued forward to find a way up the mountain. After all, the Purple Ice Root was located only at the ends of the entire Xuebing Mountains. While they were running through, some weaker Ferocious Beasts that were only rank two and below tried to attack them.

Unfortunately for the beasts, Mo Fan and Ye Wen simply stepped on their heads which caused their heads to be crushed entirely as they continued plowing through the snow.

It wasn't until they continued for another thirty minutes did they finally find a path that leads to the top of Xuebing Mountain.
