"What about you? Did you eat already?" i bit my lower lip and leaned my head to bed.

I felt like floated from my own question.

"I will eat later."he gently said.

I don't know, but i think i need time to calm myself.

After he called, i leaned my head to bed again for a while before i continue what i'm doing.

The housekeeper sent the food that Riege made to order from the restaurant.

I silently eat the food while reading the update of my social media accounts.

In the afternoon, Riege didn't call me back again.

Maybe he's busy now. Or maybe he focused in his work, seriously.

I wondered if where is his company office located?

Maybe i can visit?

Maybe it is not wrong to make a visit one of these day.

By around two o'clock, i'm totally and deadly bored. So i decided to go out.

I message Riege that i booked an appointment to a nearby spa.

Wearing a white cap, black eyeglass that almost covered my whole face, and red lipstick. I am ready now to go out.

People will recognize me eventually but at least i'm giving them the hardest time.

This is the way how i looked like if i want to go out.

But the only difference now is, the spa clinic is just a walking distance from his unit.

I don't need to use a car.

I don't need to effort myself on driving just to reach there.

My phone rang, at first i thought Riege call me but when i heard who's voice was on the line, i immediately knew who it was.

"Cath, listen up." trexie said.

"Yes, trex." i happily answered.

"Your boyfriend is in the restaurant. Here at BGC with his ex. Shane Sandoval. The one and only heiress of Sandoval Corporation."

She laughingly said.

I was almost lifted my body from bed where i was lying.

The therapists are now massaging my legs.

" Maybe they're just discussing about business matter, trex. "

I tried to convince myself even if i knew that it was impossible.

Riege's last word echoed in my mind.

You can sleep in my room while i'm taking care of my own sex life.

Is this how he's going to take care of his own sex life?

" I'm here at the spa. I have an appointment."

He knew that i'm in showbiz but still he has the guts to see his ex?

And worst! Maybe they already did some dirty business!

"Are you okay?" trexie asked while laughing.

She's talking about my silence.

"I'm just calling you to tell about this. But i think they didn't do something more than this. Maybe it's just a lunch date or something."

"I hope it won't trigger your impulsiveness, cath." she chuckled.

Yeah. She knew. But i am not that kind of woman anymlre. Or right now.

I changed a lot.

I can even drink hard. Perhaps wine, right now.

I am not that kind of poor and pathetic girl anymore.

The years had past. And after what happened between me and Riege years ago, changed me a lot.

"Men like Riege, they will need a woman of the first century."

"What do you mean?" my feelings are mixed with curiosity and bitterness.

" I mean, bachelors like him want a modern arrangement. Like new generation. A woman who is not possesive but calm. So just calm down and cheer up! Alright? "

I want to leave the spa right away.

But the staffs from the spa, asked to take some photos with me.

So it took a couple of minutes before i got the chance to finally go.

I was already out of the spa.I roamed around the place.

I can pass by at the restaurant where Riege and that Shane Sandoval were recently having their lunch date.

Might as well as visit there or buy something.

Alright!

That's it! I can't be home while hungry!

While at the entrance of the restaurant, i took a deep breath first before decided to went in.

I went inside and immediately saw Riege from my sight.

He's sitting in the table for two with Shane Sandoval beside him.

And laptop in front of them with foods and drinks beside.

"Table for two maam?"

The waitress asked me.

I glared at her before i nodded.

I took the magazine from the magazine stand and and walked to the table where the waitress lead me the way.

"I will take some of your ice cream, please." i said.

And immediately opened the magazine.

My eyes was straightly looked at Riege and Shane.

Shane Sandoval is undeniable beautiful, prim and sophisticated.

Riege's literally type of a woman.

No wonder he had a relationship with her.

She looked more educated in her white suit paired with white slacks.

Her neckline is decorated with expensive necklace.

Screaming for wealth.

She placed the laptop in front of Riege.

She smiled and Riege nodded.

Riege is in his White longsleeve and dark slacks. Folded until his elbow. But the button of his longsleeve is already unbuttoned.

I snorted.

So this is his looked when seeing the love of his life?

I can't be mistaken!

He was seen from some events with random women but i can't believe that Shane Sandoval can take it!

Is she this in love with Riege?

My face heated with anger!

Seemed like i can get a high pression from this!

I saw Riege glanced his phone.

He looked serious while typing on his phone.

Shane was still talking with him with a smile.

But he wasn't attentive.

Looking at my phone, and saw that he has no new message from it.

After he wrote something in his phone, he immediately put it in his ear.

His eyes slightly scanned the whole room.

I slightly put down the magazine.

My heart kipped beating when i saw his dangerous eyes watching me while he's on his phone.

The way he talked was calculated and very intent.

His lips slightly curved but his eyes remained dangerously scary.

"Here's the ice cream you ordered maam."

I nodded and suddenly felt nervous.

I can sense Riege's burning eyes directed on me.

I felt like i am going to faint.

Shit!

I put down the magazine again to check him.

When lately, his brow raised, now i can literally see a ghost of smile from his lips.

He saw me!

Shit!

Damn it!

When i saw him stood up, all the chances to hide from him, got lost.

I put down the magazine and sat down straight and started eating my ice cream.

Feeling so cold.

Not because from the ice but because of nervous.

He swiftly dragged a chair from a nearby table. And place it beside me. While my attention was all in front.

Head's up. And pretended that i didn't care of his presence.

"What my girlfriend doing here?" he asked with grinned.

"Just eating my ice cream Riege. Can't you see? And don't tell me i couldn't go out! I have nothing to do! I got bored!"

I defensively said.

He snorted. And i knew what he's thinking.

From his gaze, i know he might be concluded that i'm stalking him!

It's true but i won't confess that!

" I'm done from spa. That's why i dropped by here before i go home because... I want to..... To try their ice cream here."

He looked at the ice cream i ate. Like he's not convinced. Maybe he's thinking what's special from the ice cream why i intentionally came for a try.

" You're just guilty because i saw you with your ex!"

He groaned.

" She invested in my company. And we're talking about the proposal."

"What proposal!"

"Business proposal baby."

"Great! And this lunch date is your solution! Can't you just stay in your office and.... Do it there? Do you need to publicize your date?" i intensely said. While staring at him sharply.

His brow shot up. "Lunch date?"

I got more pissed for him. To take this is beyond me.

This isn't literally a joke for me!

The news will spread if someone would know that they're having lunch together.

He slightly dragged my chair closer to him.

As if not contented with our closeness.

I stared blangkly in front of me. My head's up and slightly move away from him.

His arms were permanently placed behind the back of my chair.

His knees parted. The right one behind my chair and the left touching my legs. And his left hand holding my table.

His whole body was like a fence to his whole property.

"What? You're just scared because i caught you with your ex. This is your way of taking care of your sex life huh? Having good time with other woman?"

I muttered unconsciously.

Trying hard to maintain the anger that is slowly fading because of his damn moves.

My eyes closed when he picked the eyeglass i wore.

Revealing my burning eyes, he smirked.

He licked his lips while landed my shades at the top of the table.

"Why don't you come with me in my office tomorrow?"

"What? No!" i rolled my eyes.

"I am not desperate and possesive girlfriend! Excuse me! I don't need to know what you're doing the whole time."

"Really?" he chuckled.

"Don't you laugh!" i glared at him.

But he just snorted to prevent laughing even more.

He muttered a curse softly before he gave me a feathered kiss on the lips.

"Do you want me to refuse her business proposal?" he softly asked.

"No!I'm not like that Riege. I don't care whatever you want to do. I don't care whoever you dated. That's your choice of life. And like i said, i don't need to know what you're doing.... Even if you're with your ex..."

"Why do you need to cover your face with this magazine while watching us. And she's not my ex?" he said and held the magazine.

"So officially your present?" i gritted my teeth at my question.

I glanced at him again. And his lips pursed.

"I want to know whatever you're doing and wherever you're going. And whoever you're with. All the time." he stated. Ignoring my question.

I rolled my eyes.

This man really knows how to catch women.

"I told you. I went to spa. But you didn't reply at me!"

He smirked again. And my head furrowed.

"And besides. I don't want a possesive boyfriend. No! We're now in a new generation. And i am modern when it comes to relationship. I am not possesive either. Mostly, i don't stalk! So don't mess up with me!" i declared.

He chuckled. I stared at him and pouted.

" You can go back there to your ex. And continue what you started doing. "

" She can send me the whole details later in my email.I'm leaving the office, now. "

" Why? Where else will you go?"

"I'm leaving with my girlfriend. Do you want to go somewhere else?"

I shook my head and pouted.

"Then, let's go home, now."

He called the waitress and put his card in the tray to pay the ice cream i ordered.

I glanced at him.

The amusement in his face didn't fade.

He chuckled and leaned more on me to whisper something.

"Baby, next time if you miss me, just tell me. So i can do something about it." he seductively said.

"And w-w-what are you going to do?"

He smirked dangerously at me.

My face heated more.

Riege just waved at her and stood up.

I was very certain that he kept on staring at me while we were in our way in. At his condo.

I glance him.

He folded his two arms and put under his broad chest.

I took a deep breath before and glanced my room.

"I will just change."

He nodded while a slow of smile formed in his lips.

People around us has changed. And while thinking that i did too, seeing Shane Sandoval personally today, i can say that i changed poorly.

Especially when it comes to Riege.

I took shower and changed my clothes.

My baby pink and silky nighty dress with spaggetti strap. felt comfortably wearing it.

Seing my face in the mirror, my black and long hair brushed behind me.

I felt satisfied while watching my reflection.

Little lotion and spray cologne, i am perfectly fine.

My phone rang while i am inside the bathroom.

I went out and answered the call.

When i saw who it was, i answered it without second thought.

"Trexie?" i asked with amusement.

"Hi,bestie."she greeted sweetly.

Calling me this time is so out of her character.

Mostly, when there's no shoot.

Most of the time she went in my condo without informing me.

" I'm here at your penthhouse!Such a perfect place for a perfect couple like you both! "

I stopped when i immediately saw Grace, Daisy, stephen, trexie.,and the man beside trexie.

My eyes widened. I still recognized him.

Wearing my silky nighty dress with spaggetti strap above a knee length, Riege's jaw dropped as i exited from my room.

The smirked in his lips suddenly disappeared when he saw me.

He looked at me using his dark gaze with annoyance.

He eyeing me from head to toe while his jaw clenched.

"Bestie!" trexie exclaimed with full of confidence.

I never mind about Riege's expression while turning my attention with this brat.

I thought trexie came alone. But he brought daisy, grace, stephen, with.... Vince.

They greeted me from cheek to cheek except for vince who remained seated on his chair.

A big smirked is platered in his face.

"Cath, i want you to meet my boyfriend.Vince?"

My eyed widened.

Boyfriend?

Trexie called vince while busy talking with Riege.

Vince start walking and approached us.

Without losing his grinned.

Riege followed him and stop beside me.

I looked at him first and saw his annoyed face was still there.

What made him angry anyway?

Is it because they came? I didn't even know their visits. Trexie didn't inform me about this either.

Vince was already in front of me.

He immediately reached out his hand to formally introduce himself.

I swallowed.

What would be his opinion to the woman who was about imprisoned by Riege years ago and the woman who is recently in a relationship with Riege now?

"I have not formally introduce myself with you. Vince Dela Vegas. Reige' dearest cousin." he chuckled.

I know why he acted this way.

I know what he's thinking now.

I was about to reach his hand to formally intoduce myself too, when Reige hugged me from behind.

I startled.

He kissed me on my cheek while wrapping his two arms around my waist under my chest.

Vince laughed out loud when he heard Reige. And his possesive gesture.

He laughed as if the whole building can hear him.

This is embarassing.

"Fuck Riege, i couldn't believe you're that possesive!"

Reige muttered a curse and whispered in my ears.

"Change your clothes if you don't want me to change you by myself."

I glanced at vince. He shook his head. And laughed more.

After the small talk, we decided to continue the topics at the dining table while eating.

We ordered pizza and drinks for dinner.

Trexie informed me that they will not stay longer because vince has some business trip for tomorrow.

And knowing Riege. They are cousins. So probably this vince is as rich as Reige?

Grace and daisy continued eating their meals. While stephen, after he ate, he went out from the dining area and went to sala to check the furnitures.

Reige notice my sudden silence. So he moved closer of his body against me while his arms still wrapped in my waist and the other hand holding the pizza.

Vince glance at Reige's hand wrapping around my waist.

He shook his head. Like he can't believe what Reige did.

"Seriously Reige? Even while eating? I wonder how you became when you left alone with Cath." vince said while laughing.

Reige looked at him darkly.

"It will only take a weeks vince."

Weeks?

"We can't stay long Reige as much as i want. I just came here to check on you. But i think you're more than fine.! Shit! I don't expect you being like this!"

Vince chuckled. He glanced at me and nodded. Indicating their exits.

"You need long patience for trexie vince if you know her well, now. I'm sure you can handle her well." i jokingly said and looked trexie.

She gave me a rolled in her eyes. And smirked.

I chuckled.

Vince tapped Reige shoulder giving him the sign about their leaving.

My friends trexie and the rest of them kissed me from cheek to cheek.

They smiled teasingly and looked at me from head to toe.

What's wrong with this people.!

I wore worst than this!God!

This is just a nighty dress! And this is just nothing than the dressess i wore at stage.

I saw how trexie gave a smirked.

Oh! I knew what she's thinking!

She stepped closer to me and brought her lips closer to my ears and whispered something.

"So much ready for tonight, Cath?" she said and immediately ran out to the door.

I frowned.

I did not understand immediately what she meant. But when i got her point, i looked at my self and realized how i looked like.

I didn't bother about this lately even when we ate for dinner because i was busy from our chit chats.

My face heated. And she laughed when she noticed my blushing face.

"Goodnight and enjoy your night!"

She said and meaningfully stared at me while laughing.

They left already.

I walked towards the table and started fixing the table.

I felt Reige's presence behind my back.

He remained behind while wiping his hands.

I can feel his heat towering behind.

It took a while before i began to move.

My crazy heart started hammering like stupid.

I was thinking about what vince had told him lately.

"I will wash the plates. You cooked for us so i can wash the dishes for us too." i said.

"Let me help you." in a cruel and smooth voice.

"I can do it alone Reige. We can share the chores here."

I left the table and walked towards the sink to put the plates we used including the cup of glasses.

I stared at him who gently walked my way.

Trying hard to relax myself and continued what i'm doing.

I put down the plate and took a deep breath.

"Shane is just nothing to me. We've been so close since then. And we're business partner after she came home from abroad. She invested in my company. And we need to go there in london to check our new project."he said and placed his face now in my neck while talking.

" I was about to tell you but vince informed it first already. Believe me. I will not do something that can make you mad at me. "

I frowned and my eyes widened when i realized what he meant.

I don't want to believe.

"When will be the party that you mentioned me about before?

I asked to avoid some topics

I nodded.

" I need a clear schedule before i start to get hectic? "

" I'll send you the schedule once it's all set."

He went out at eight in the morning.

I was busy working out and checked my social media account.

I told him about my schedule on my facial.

I need to take care of my face. My face that mike was about to ruined when he didn't get the accident and die.

I need to clear my schedule where i can get a hectic schedule.

After my facial, i planned to visit trexie in hwr condo.

I can't stay in his condo! Ever!

His place made me bored everytime i don't have sched for shoot!

I typed him a message:

I'll go to clinic today for my facial. And after to trexie's condo.

Minutes have passed after the session, i went out of the clinic and ready myself going to trexie's condo.

After i reached trexie's condo building, i saw her waiting for me at the lobby.

I followed her steps heading up to her unit.

She waved the receptionist before bidding our goodbyes through the elevator.

"I called vince to come."she informed while we're inside the elevator.

" Yup! He's now already inside of my unit. "

I rolled my eyes.

I spent the whole afternoon at trexie's unit until in the evening.

Vince already left because his dad called him for some urgent company meeting.

I wasn't wrong. His family also owned a company. Just like Riege. And knowing they're cousins.

Trexie still didn't talk about them. But i respect that.

I will wait till she will open up that topic for me, soon.

I checked the furnitures in her unit.

Even her wooden blocks looked great.

She said, she'll bring me there in her designated furniture shop. And i'm looking forwards for that day.

I was sitting in a heart-shaped stall which made in rattan.

It was already past ten in the evening.

I texted Reige and he replye immediately:

What time are you going home?I'll be late home tonight too. I will pick you up when you're done.

"God, Cath! Having vince as my boyfriend is one of my happiness. I like him since then but he's a snobbed. And knowing his reputation about women just like Reige didn't stop me for admiring him!"

Oh! Here. She started the topic that i was itching to asked.

"Do you think he's really serious about us?"

I felt something wrong about her question.

Isn't she sure about vince feelings?

Or is she just the one who's serious?

"Do you mind? Aren't you sure?"

Her smile faded. She watched me instently.

So let out a loud laugh.

I glanced at my phone and was about so send a message for Reige again. But instead i'll do it, i got tempted to scroll down my facebook.

I saw Reige was tagged in a post and the photo uploaded just a minute ago.

Congrats for the new project babe. And goodluck for our partnership.

That was the caption written.

Shane Sandoval posted the photo and tagged with Reige.

I saw Shane Sandoval in the photo.literally. She was the one who posted. So probably she'll at the pictures too!

How stupid of me!
