12 Chapter 12

"You already gave that job! Why do you have to take it back!? The agency informed me that i was already accepted! They informed me how much you're going to pay and when i should start my job!. Why did you take it back!?"

I punched him as much as i could. I cried. Don't care if i looked hopeless! I want to fight for this! I want him to return back the job for me! Even if he gave me so much insults i don't care at all!

I can endure it. But, as what i've seen from Riege, i knew that he already decided. He won't give it back to me. I want to try once more.

"You're rude. Cruel. Arrogant. You want to control everything. You want to controll all the people around you. You want to play someone lik-".

I didn't finish what i was about to say when he slapped me so hard!

So hard like my head turned to another side of the partition in his unit. I can feel my neck was almost broken really. I didn't know that there was something worst than his behaviour. This is all beyond limit!

I'm shocked! I didn't move immediately because of the impact. My hand trembled as i reached for my cheek that had been hurt so much from his violent hands.

I slowly moved my head and turned back my stares at him. My tears didn't stop from fallen and i don't care. I want him to see me this way.

I was about to say something but no words came out from my mouth when i saw him walking towards me and held my wrist violently then dragged me out from his unit. I fought back at him to stop him from dragging me but i lost my balance.

My waist hit the side table near at the door. I touched for my waist that was been hit by the side table and felt the pain.

I don't want him to see my weakness. So i stood up and show him that i have all the guts to face him.

But before i could recover, i accidentally touched something.

My hands trembled as i lifted my body and force myself to stand. I looked at the thing i had accidentally touch earlier and realized what it was.

I looked at him again and made sure that he didn't see what i was checking out above his side table.

Diamond necklace.

The last conversation i had with mike came across my mind.

Bring me large amount. Jewelry. Money. Anything.

"Get out of my unit Miss Ambrocio. If you will not leave voluntarily, then i will call the security personnel to drag and get you out from here!"

Riege's angry voice was very scary but i didn't mind. I lost my attention from him. My attention was in the necklace.

I was thinking of some idea to smuggle it. I know what i'm doing is wrong but i don't have choice to save my life from mike. And we'll never meet after this! I will forget what happened to day. Forget that i've met him this way. And forget how much he gave pain for me.

I'll give this necklace to mike so he won't bother me anymore and start a new life! Right!

Riege walking towards the door, so I quickly covered the diamond necklace with my hand. I made sure he didn't notice what i did.

I can't believed i did this! Shit!

"Out!" i walked normally while the diamond necklace was inside of my clenched fist and walking towards the door. Stepped faster to get out!.

I was already out of his unit. When he slammed the door, i open my palm to check tha diamond necklace and quickly put inside the bag and breath heavily.

I can't make a step from where i was standing. I was thinking about the diamond necklace i stole from Riege. But before i can think of something, i heards something broken inside of his unit. Without second thought i ran fast towards the elevator door for me to leave.

I got nervous. I was already inside the elevator and checked my reflection in the glass wall.

I can't believe what i did. I can't believed i stolen something.! Shit! Pardon me.

My hands trembling as i looked for it. I heard an imaginary voice whispered my ears and said that i need to return back the necklace but i chose to ignored it and continue walking heading my way out of the building.

Mike was just outside. Waiting for me with a knife inside of his pocket.

The elevator door opened and i immediately exited.

No body was in the lobby because it was too late already in the night.

I walked straight and fast unti i reached for the door entrance of the building.

But before i could get out, one of the security guarf blocked me.

"Excuse me miss, can i talk to you for a moment?"......

I sat quietly in front of the police officer's table. The police station office was already quite. Nobody around expect me and the police officer who brought me here.

I didn't protest from them lately when they took me out from Rieg's condo building lobby and bring here for the investigation.

Riege quickly noticed the loss of his diamond necklace so he immediately called the security to stop me from letting go. And the security immediately called the police to investigate what i did.

According to the discription of the police, the diamond necklace was intentionally made in Switzerland.

Shit! Does it mean that it is more expensive than my life? Is it the reason why he easily noticed the disappearance of the necklace?

"Poore girl. You're to beautiful to steal." i rolled my eyes to SPO3 june Torralba.

Riege filed a lawsuite case against me. For stealing his diamond necklace. I will let him do that. It would be better for me if will be in jail. Maybe i would be safe inside of the jail than staying outside with mike chasing me.

Danger is waiting for me outside. From mike.

SPO3 June Torralba stop asking me random questions when one police officer entered the office where i was being investigated.

The police officer who just came looked at me first before he made a walk steps straight towards SPO3 Torralba.

I watched the police officer approaching our table. SPO2 Vince Dela Vegas is his name.

He's handsome, tall, and a body made of masculinity. Some of his facial features seemed there's someone he looked alike.

He doesn't seem appropriate to be a police officer. He is better than that.he is suited to be a model. His physical appearance was shouting for wealth.

Riege is just more than him. Why do i'm thinking of the man who slapped me a while ago? The man who used to insults me? And now is the man who will let me imprisoned? Shit!

I feel embarrased when vince dela vegas gave me a smirked. Maybe he notice how i've been watching him. Shit!

"There's an accident happened." Vince Dela Vegas started.

"Motorbike overspeeding. It slipped and hit in the wall. The driver was dead on arrival. The driver seemed under the use of drugs. Some police officers was already there where the accident happened to pick up the dead body." he stated.

"Was there any I. D's from the driver?" SPO3 torralba asked.

He gave his full attention when police officer Vince Dela Vegas put down the driver's liscense I. D of the driver who got an accident.

"What's her case all about?" Vince Dela Vegas suddenly asked SPO3 torralba and glance at me for a smirked. I smile shyly as a response and bowed my head.

"Your....... Riege Del Rio Filed a theft case against her." SPO3 Torralba answered.

Vince Dela Vegas laughed loudly. I frowned at his reaction.

"Riege Del Rio? You mean the Womanizer. Cold and CEO of DREIGOC!? Seriously!?" i heard him asking hard with a teasing on his voice.

I was confused. I raised my brow as my reaction in his question.

SPO3 Torralba tilted his head and started writing on his notes.

Did he knew about Riege? He seemed he knew about the arrogant beast.

Is he happy that im going to put in jail because of that cruel Riege Del Rio? Oh! Men! Tsss!

I ignored him and accidentally glanced at the driver's liscense.

My eyes widened when who was the picture in the I D.

Mike?

Mike was the person who got an accident? Really!?

I lifted my back from the backrest of the chair and looked at the I. D closely. I dont't care about these police officers in front of me.

I can't be wrong. The picture in the I. D was mike.

I don't know what i'm going to feel. I don't know if i'm going to be happy or what.

Happy because finally no one will try to chase and try to hurt me.

Sad because of what happened to him.

I suddenly felt like i'm alive again! Shit!

A sudden plan came across my head.

I have other way on how to escape from this problem.

I will take this opportunity to escape from Riege and start a new life.

I was only stole the diamond necklace because i was desperately needed itmi was desperately afraid of being hurt by mike.

And now that he's gone already, that diamond necklace would he useless. There's no point on keeping it.

"Sir Torralba." i called for the attention of SPO3 Torralba.

"I would like to confess something, but can you make it private between just the two of us?"......

Riege Del Rio

My cellphone where i placed at the top of the dashboard inside my car was rang.

"Vince." i coldly answered my cousin's call. What he wants this time? I have no time go out with him on a bar. Fuck this fucker!

I stopped my car because the traffic light turned into red.

I'm looking at the police station near from where i was briefly stopped for traffic law enforcement.

"Miss Ambrocio has denied your allegation against her Riege." Fuck! So he's on duty? I knew this tone! I imagined his teasing grinned behind this call.

I know why he called himself to inform me about this.

He was not the one i assigned to handle the case against cassie but he effortly called me to inform. The fuck of this idiot!

I know he has something else to know.

"I know you Riege. What about her cous? She stated that you voluntarily gave that necklace. What aboit the necklace? Is she your flavor of the month? She said you personally gave it for visiting her to your condo?seriously? Are you sending your women to your condo now, riege? " vince laughed while asking me some random questions.yeah he's a police afterall. Fuck!

" Where is she vince? "i cold and calmly asked to end our conversation but he laughed loudly before he answer me. Shit this idiot.! I don't know why i got a cousin like this......

" I advise you to don't file a case against her. She said, that she had an employee witness who have seen of how you treated her very well. What is this all about? Love quarrel? Her against the contract? What? Riege? Just ask for her her forgiveness. All women like drama. Your girlfriend or your future girlfriend told us that she understands why you changed your mind. You may not have been stripped, right? She left your diamond necklace and asked us to call you for you to personally take it. "

This is one of the reason why i don't want vince to know about the things happened to me.

He asked more than like my own parents.

I dont't have time for him! I need to look after cassie and deal with him later.

"Talk to you later vince." he answered me with a laughed. Hope you lose your voice! Fuck this cousin! Shit!

I drove my car headed to police station.

I don't care if vince was already there!

Before i could park my car properly i saw cassie coming out from the police station office.

I parked my car aside and got out immediately to block her way and immediately talk as i finally in front of her.

I don't care about anyone can hear us.

"You planned to sell your body and when i rejected you, ....you stole my diamond necklace.! And now you lied again just so you can escape from the law! You can't walk away from your sin! No one can use me! No women can accuse me of paying something for pleasure! You ruined me! My reputation! You ruined me in front of the law and all the people who knew me! You ruined the name i had care for so long! Make yourself happy while you can because i will make sure after this, you can be happy. I will make your life Living hell! "

I felt exhausted after that long statement because of anger! My jaw clenched. Without second thought i pushed her reason for her to fell down.
