ᴀʏᴀɴᴇ's ᴘᴏᴠ

A few minutes after all the guys left to hunt for food.

Everyone decided to build up a bonfire.

Even though the sun is probabaly on its highest peak, it's not the same here in this forest.

At this time, the forest is as usually cold, dark and misty.

You'll never know when and where will something show up to kill.

When finished creating the bonfire. I sat beside Jean who's been quiet since this morning.

"Hey! Why the long face!" I said and she just looked down.

"If you're still blaming yourself for erasing Yalex yesterday's memories, it's not your fault! I'm pretty sure he's well-aware that touching your hand can result a bad thing!" I said and she started crying.

Is she always this childish?

"Abie was right... I was so careless..." she whined.

"Don't say that! It's not your fault okay? I'm sure that's what Yalex will tell you as well!" I said.

"I couldn't even face him..."

"Why not? You know! You should stop avoiding him! It's not like it will settle the situation! You should talk to him! And if you really feel like it, then apologize!" I said and she looked at me while sniffing.

"Do you think he's not mad at me?"

"Why would he be mad at you?" Nina suddenly sat in front of us.

"You know, whenever Salazar and I have a misunderstanding, we always make sure that the day won't end until we fin'lly fixed our misunderstandings! And girl! That's what's make the relationship more stronger!" She said and smiled at Jean.

"Nina! Yalex and Jean are not a couple!" I said rolling my eyes.

"I know that! But that's where they will go! Anyway! Jean! She's right! You shouldn't avoid Yalex!" she said and stood up to sat beside Jean and grabbed her hands.

"You look very good with Yalex! And I'm sure that he likes you too! So you should give this a try! There's nothing wrong with a mermaid and an earth sorcerer being together!" she said which probably made Jean speechless.

"Nina! You're being exaggerated!" I said and chuckled while Nina began giggling.

"Jean! I'm not sure if you're aware! But in the land, mermaids are also known to fall easily into nice people they will met first! What about you? Do you think you like Yalex?" she asked and Jean just looked down.

"Nina! Just go away! You're making her uncomfortable!" I said and she bust off while making faces on me.

"Don't mind her Jean! You don't need to answer that!" I said but I got surprised when I noticed that she's crying again.

"W-why are you crying?" I asked.

"Do you think Nina was right? Is there nothing really wrong with a mermaid being with another kind?" she asked.

Wait. So she does like Yalex, does she?

"Yalex is the first person who was so nice to me when I first came here... He saved me from most harms... Even if I don't ask, he will always help me..." she said but almost whispering.

"Then why are you crying?"

"I was so afraid... I thought I erased everything in his memories... I had no idea that it will happen... I couldn't control my own powers..." she said and held her face and continue crying.

I patted her back and let her cry to her fullest.

"Don't worry Jean... Everything will be alright..." I said.

After a few minutes. She fin'lly stopped crying. Not too long, we heard a loud scream roaming around.

"Heeeeeeelp!!!!!" a loud scream from someone familiar can be heard.

And after a few seconds, we saw Yalex running. But he's not running to where we are. Instead, he's running around us in a circle.

And behind him are Salazar and Prince Shade. Both of them are trying to follow him I think.

But Prince Shade is obviously slowing his pace.

Aside from their chase, they look ridiculous. Just imagine the two catching Yalex while carrying a dead animal.

"What's wrong with Yalex?" I heard Abie asked.

"Salazar!!!" Nina called and he approached us carrying a dead animal.

He tried to catch his breath first before he faced Nina.

"What happened?" Selene asked.

"When we were trying to catch this deer! We were near a beehive! They suddenly surrounded Yalex!" he said while panting.

"Maybe because he's clothes are made of flowers!" Coleen said and she started laughing with Abie and Selene.

"Shut up! It's not even funny!" I exclaimed.

"How long has he been running like that!?" I asked.

"Not sure! But maybe you shoul ask how long will he ran like that!" He said and continue to join the chase.

Of all scenarios, why catch the flower boy.

"Yalex should take off his clothes!" Coleen suggested while laughing.

"I said stop Coleen! It's not funny!" I retorted and she just shrugged her shoulder.

"Well I guess she have a point! Those bees are chasing Yalex because of his floral clothes! Without those, they'll leave him alone!" Nina said trying hard not to laugh.

Though the three guys disappeared from our sight. We can still hear Yalex screaming from afar.

When the other group arrived, something immediately caught my attention.

Well aside from a stag's head Acrox is carrying. All three of them have gloomy faces.

"What's wrong with you three?" Abie asked but they would likely ignore her question.

"Where are the others?" Lexus asked with a serious tone.

"Yalex was being chased by bees earlier because of his clothes! I'm not sure where they are right now!" I said and Acrox and Laurant whispered at each other.

"What's wrong?" Coleen asked Lexus.

"Nothing!" Lexus simply said.

"Lexus! We should look for those three!" Acrox suddenly spoke.

They left the dead stag with us then went out to follow the three.

We waited for a half an hour until they went back.

Somehow, it looks adorable to watch the six of them laughing altogether while approaching us.

"Look! Yalex changed his clothes!" Coleen pointed at Yalex.

His clothes looked somehow like Jean's. It's also made of leaves.

Well, I guess Coleen and Nina was right.

They immediately started to prepare the stag and the deer. Laurant almost ruined it when he accidentally set a huge fire on them.

But thankfully, Salazar and Acrox are good cook. So they will probably make a delicious meal for all of us.

Then again. The boys are enjoying themselves. They're having so much fun.

Even the rest of the girls are so fond of watching them having fun.

"Quite deep in your thoughts!" Laurant suddenly spoke to me.

He's playing a fire on his hand as he sat beside me.

It was a small, dancing fire lady.

"Isn't it hot when your hands are burning?" I asked and he chuckled.

Why? There's nothing funny with what I asked.

"No! I'm a fire sorcerer! I control them so I won't burn!" he said.

"Do you wanna know something else?"

"What?"

"If I desire, I can put this fire in your hand and you won't burn!" he said and it's actually the first time I saw him smile genuinely up close.

"Really?"

"Give me your hand..."

I reached my hand to him and he held it for a few seconds. When he opened my hands, the dancing fire lady was there.

I giggled at the sight of the light in my hand. Not knowing that he's been staring at me as I stare at the fire.

It suddenly disappeared so I immediately turned to him.

"Quite a deep stare!" I said and I couldn't help but stare at his dark eyes too.

Those eyes seems to be wanting to say something. Those eyes weren't the same like any others. Not only it wanted to speak out.

It's also filled with rage.
