Awaken

(Author- I'm sorry about the delay, I had this chapter and one on my AOT fanfic but they both got deleted during the upload. Enjoy.)

"Skyguy come in"

"Anakin do you copy?"

Unfortunately all that ashoka heard was static coming from the comlink. She then attempts to contact red squad only for the same results. 'Who jammed the comlinks?' She wonders while letting her hand drift to her saber.

She then looks at the man she found frozen in ice, he is a tall, well built, pale skinned zabrak with unusually large horns in the shape of a crown on his head. He is wearing white armor that is covered in burn marks and soot. What really caught her attention was the silver curved lightsaber hilt in his hand. 'Who is he?'

Then, suddenly, a hoarse female voice rings out as a dark figure emerges from the shadows. "Hello my dear Ashoka, who thought that we would be meeting again so soon. Sadly I can't let you take that. My master personally sent me here to make sure it's delivered safely. Quite the specimen isn't he?"

Ashoka snarls as she hears the voice. She turns to face the source of the voice. A thin, grey skinned, bald woman with two curved saber hilts dangling from her waist. "Ventress, I'm surprised to see you here after all you didn't look so good when we parted ways last time." She taunts the assassin.

Ventresses brow wrinkles in irritation as she snarks back, "Well Skywalker isn't here to save you this time little girl. You should know that alone you are no match for me."

'Dammit she's right, I can't beat her, I can't expect reinforcements either.' Ashoka ignites her two green lightsabers and groans, 'Skyguy is gonna be pissed but I don't have any other choice.'

Ventress the dose the same igniting her two blood red blades and preparing to engage the young togruta. While she is indeed stronger than the little Jedi in the past this one has proven to be annoying so she won't be taking any chances.

Before Ventress can react Ashoka uses her saber to slash the control the device maintaining the ice around the Specimen. "No!" She shouts, if the specimen is damaged then her master will be very displeased. Ventrs launches herself at Ashoka. Their blades clash ventress, utilizing her rage, completely overwhelms her opponent. Meanwhile the ice quickly begins to melt and cracks begin appearing.

Ashoka ducks under one of the red sabers then dashes forward switching the saber in her left hand to a reverse grip and slashing at the assassins neck. Ventress blocks with her own saber but Ashoka, who was expecting this, used the impact to flip over her escaping the corner while slashing with her other saber towards the nape of the neck.

Ventress now filled with extreme anger turns, reaches out her hand, and releases a overwhelmingly powerful force blast which hurdles Ashoka acrossed the room. She crashes into a wall of steel boxes hitting her head causing her to drop her lightsabers and groan in pain.

A large evil smile creeps onto the assassins face as she casually strolls towards the young orange skinned togruta her blood red blades hissing. "Perhaps my master will forgive the damage to the specimen since I killed the padawan of Skywalker." She raises her blades and is about to finish it when suddenly.

*CRASH*

The ice shatters and the specimen grabs his saber and turns to face the strange grey skinned woman holding blood red sabers. 'What the hell? Where am I?' Eren searches his memory but everything seems so foggy. He just remembers very basic information but even that is clouded. Turning his head he sees a beautiful orange skinned togruta being stood over by a Sith.

'Crap I got to help her!' He dashes towards the female Sith and ignites his saber. Jumping using the force he covers the distance in less than a second but the Sith turns and raises her sabers above her head and block my attack. 'What the, why is my strike so weak?' Eren was shocked by the weakness of his attack.

Ventress, realizing that the attack was weak, smiled and kicked him in the stomach sending him flying. Thankfully this distraction was enough, because Ashoka managed to use the force to grab her sabers. Igniting them once again she quickly lashed out attempting to kill Ventress.

Just in the nick of time ventress manages to twist her body to avoid the worst of it, but still receives a significant cut to her side. "Ha, not so cocky now are you." Ashoka taunts.

"Gah!" Ventress snarls but the takes off running down the hall. Using her lightsaber she slashes the control pad of the blast doors causing them to close behind her allowing her to escape. Ashoka shakes her head knowing that the Sith would be able to escape in a escape pod or shuttle.

Turning, she looks curiously at the unconscious zabrak wondering who he was when her commlink lit up. "Ahsoka, Ahsoka, come in!"

"I'm here skyguy, sorry I had a run in with Ventress she was guarding the transport." Ashoka replies.

Skywalker worriedly asked, "Are you okay?" He knew full well that Ashoka wasn't ready to fight someone on Ventresses level. "What happened to Red Squad?"

"I'm fine, I assume that Red Squad is dead she probably killed them before she faced me." She states as she walks over to the unconscious Zabrak and helped him up and carefully laid him down on a flatbed like crate.

Anakin then asks curiously, "How did you fend Ventress off?"

"It's like I said before, what I found wasn't a it, it was a who. I found a Jedi Zabrak frozen in Ice, before I got into a fight with Ventress I destroyed the device that was keeping him frozen and he managed to distract her enough for me to get hit in before he was knocked unconscious." She explains to her master.
