Traveling

Inkeri looks overs to follow Ryan with a face of joy but at the same time there is a hint of terror mixed in when he looks at the book. She turns to witness her mother start falling down as she has gotten feebler and her form starts to look like skin and bones as if she hasn't eaten for a while.

Inkeri started to crawl over to Ithil and cuddle up next to here as she wanted to be next to her mother as she died. Ithil allowed Inkeri this wish and snuggled against her child for this will be the last time they will encounter each other.

When Ryan looked over, he saw the scene and this nearly made him go enraged as all the memories of yesterday started to play out again. He moved his aura back into his body to keep it from rampaging but what was seen by the mother and daughter was a child crying.

This surprised the two as the kid before looked more like an uncaring and mad person but when they saw him like this they saw him more as a troubled child instead. "Inkeri, you needed to protect him and be there for him since he might look strong but deep down he is being tormented. Don't think of this as an objective from me but instead helping out family," messaged Ithil as she wanted to make sure they didn't die from the contract or each other.

As Inkeri went to speak Ithil kept her mouth shut to force her to agree making Inkeri give up and accept Ryan as a brother. Ryan was about to finally lose control when Ithil used a portion of her energy to suppress him.

Ryan started to go unconscious when Ithil caught and enable him join in with them in snuggling where he fell comatose. He was heard muttering about his mother and how he needs to get stronger for revenge.

Once Inkeri discovered this, she completely accepted Ryan as a family member and decided she would rely on him and help him when she could. Ithil knew she was going to die while they fell asleep so before she died she casted an illusion over the cave to keep them safe.

As they were sleeping, the guards had past the area searching for Ryan and ran past the cave since it looked like a giant boulder. One guard ended up getting to close and when he did he past out due to overload of his spirit.

This scared the guards as they didn't expect one of the people to go unconscious randomly so they grabbed his feet with caution and dragged him out of the area. They used their energy to send an alert about the area as they didn't want to send people to their death.

*Couple hours later*

Ryan saw Inkeri lying on his chest and the body Ithil lying next them with a smile since she was able to fulfil her last wish. He woke Inkeri up to see if she wanted to honor her mother before they start heading towards the forest.

Inkeri mutually agrees to his proposal since she wants one last look before she eats the core of her mother. "Inkeri, since you decide to eat the core I will put the body in my ring she we can conceal her in a better place," stated Ryan.

"Ok," said Inkeri as she was still depressed that her mother passed on but still ate the core. Ryan put Ithil in the ring and picked up Inkeri to place her on his shoulder as he was going carrying her all the way to the forest.

She started absorbing the energy in the core and end up gaining some memories from her mother like plants and their properties, how to survive, plus how to read the mortal language. Inkeri was excited to suddenly get all this info but as she went exploring it, she ended up passing out due to shock.

Ryan was scared to see her random pass out but once he checked for a pulse he saw that she was completely fine just exhausted. So while she is asleep, he hauls it to the forest since he knows if he gets there then he won't be followed.

*Week Later*

Ryan had killed 30 middle staged squires while unknowingly absorbing their souls to get to the forest and got trapped by upper level squires. He hid Inkeri in his shirt to protect from any harm that she could have received, so once the battle between him and the two hunters broke out she wouldn't be targeted.

The hunters had sent signals to the central point to notify the direction he was heading and that if he is unstopped soon then they will need to give up. Keith heard this news and wasn't surprised Ryan decided this as it would be the best idea since it was a 50/50 risk.

Keith told everyone else to hold back and not follow him but instead force him into the forest and make sure he is unable to get out of it. The two hunters fighting him decided to put more pressure on him and force him toward the forest since most people soldier level don't last long in the forest.

This caused Ryan's hair vipers to go out of control and force the energy in the air to their location, so he would have to escape since he was still to weak and they had limiting fighting power. Ryan decided to give up on the battle and finish the last mile he had to go as he knew this was his last chance.

As Ryan went into the forest, he felt a slight wave energy surround him as if notifying him that he enters a new area. He decided not to worry about this and started heading farther into the forest as he wanted to make sure he wasn't followed.

*Six month later*

Ryan travelled a thousand of kilometers around the forest which he knew he got lost as the area looked the same. He had to fight a ton of beast but he found out the direction of the stronger beast where to avoid to not get slaughtered.

During the voyage he met a kid named Hemming who helped him along the way as he didn't know what to do. Hemming told him how to suck in energy and how to use it in his body to make it stronger.

When Ryan did this Inkeri's white fur gained a light tint of red at the tips but she was still asleep to see this change. Ryan, on the other hand, would talk to Hemming to clear his boredom which he found out he had a lot in common with Hemming.

They were both lied to for their entire lives and were given cruel punishment every day to see if they would break. Hemming escaped due to special abilities back his red eyes which looked like rubies gave off a feeling as if they could see everything.

*Today*

Ryan decides it would be a good idea to read the letter from his father just once to see what his good for nothing father had to say. When he looked at it, he was astonished to two things written in the letter one from his father which he didn't really care about then one from his mother.

His father wrote, "Son, I know I won't be there to see you grow since my clan has imprisoned me for what I have done. So I left two things behind for you so you could get stronger and could defend your mother before I can get back to you two. The first is a training method called Upturning Magnitude which will help tremendously with your bloodline power. The second item is a cube and if activated will instantly summon a formless clone that will fiercely defend you from anything knight level below only once."

When Ryan read the last part, he was expectant of his father but Hemming told him that all those things are worthless. Hemming told him the ominous black book will solve his problems and he should burn both the items as his father isn't to be trusted.

Ryan realises what he said to be true decided to throw them both into the fire which destroys the magic interface in the cube. Once he made sure they were taken care of, and continued reading the letter to see what his mother wrote.

"Honey if you are seeing this then I have decided to pass on and you are probably in a ton of pain. You must stay strong since you must come save me from my new prison that I will be contained to. You will learn more if you find the Scarlett family in the Eastern Continent but before you go there you need to reach Earth slayer at least to ensure you don't get harmed."produced his mother.

Reading what his mother wrote offered him a newfound path to head towards which was finding the Scarlett family after he reaches Earth Slayer.Hemming told Ryan that he was voluntarily going to head out and hunt for a bit to get food for him and Inkeri.

A couple of minutes after he left Inkeri woke up smiling at Ryan and started to eagerly question, "Ryan, where are we and how did we get here? How long have I been out for? Why do you look terribly exhausted and where is some food?"

"Inkeri, calm down I acquired some food and you have been asleep for a long while. I have been transporting you through a extensive forest for the lengthiest time, so I haven't been capable to sleep at times."Ryan made sure to hide that people were pursuing them and delivered her some of the meat that was cooking over the fire.

Once Ryan had done all this, he ended up collapsing, so Inkeri dragged over some animal skin that and manipulated it as a blanket to envelop him. She was delighted to see he was unharmed, so she went consuming some water to see her fur received scarlet tips leaving her utterly shocked.

I planning on putting up chapters only on weekdays with some exceptions here or there but here is the late chapter.
