The Shift

After a couple of days testing thin out with the soul flame what they discovered were small what weak, the body suffers repercussions if something happens to it, can burn or not depending, size/density is important. There were more things they wanted to test out at the time since it might be critical later but right now what they discovered was useful in refinement.

They found out how long they can keep the flames out before anything bad starts to happen as it's a life source that's very weak. Another thing that was discovered was the smaller the flame as a whole making it more dense caused more damage to a lesser area.

Ryan was wondering since they can will things to happen with energy why couldn't they with soul flames. He tests if they always burn and if it did be it possible to control the temperature of the flames?

He tried it out to see what would happen and in return he got result that pleased him so when goes to refine his veins he wanted to tested temperature, size, and burning. When he told his discoveries to Inkeri, she was worried since he was about to make himself a live test subject just like the book.

Inkeri wanted to help him in any way possible but to put himself on the edge for what gain. She felt conflicted on this matter as she knew they need strength but was this the way they should go about it or is there another way?

Ryan on the other hand started to become slightly deranged on the fact that he can become powerful so he can protect his loved ones but at the same time punish himself.He was preparing his soul fire to start refining his veins but was stopped by Inkeri as she wanted to know something.

"Ryan, I need to know are you doing this to back at yourself or are you trying to protect people?I know you want to get stronger but if you die then what will happen to them afterwards?Have you actually taken into consideration what you want instead of what you need to do?"questioned Inkeri.

When heard those questions he stopped what he is doing and reflected a little on what he was actually doing and if he himself was willing to it.He looked his hands to see he had become pale and was shaking as if he left out during the winter.

He then thought about her question was he really doing this for himself or was he just beating himself into the ground which left confused. He kept on asking himself what I want, and what he knew is that he wants to make sure his family is safe but was that it.

He then got to the subject of what would happen if he died and who that would affect due to his selfish actions. He saw Inkeri being hunted, captured, and killed while his mother would be stuck where she said was waiting forever.

"What the fuck have I been wanting to do, this is practically suicide if I proceed like this? I wanted to get stronger for Inkeri and my mother not for I need revenge. I want to do this way as this is my way of doing things, so I will stick with them until the very end."murmured Ryan to himself as he realizes where he went wrong with his thinking.

"Inkeri, thank you I have made up my mind where I will be going the same route, but not to be a martyr and have myself killed. I will get stronger due to me wanting it and not because I need to or otherwise I won't be able to focus."declared Ryan.

"Ryan, I am fine with anything you want to do but it needs to be you and not what's being forced upon you. If you have this problem I will always be there to wake you up since i'm not letting you fall down without support."said Inkeri

Ryan felt very warm inside as he knew he could rely on Inkeri no matter what so in return started to pet her on the head to make her feel reassured. Inkeri was happy that he was fine with his choice, and he still remembers what's important in his life.

Both of them became content with the situation, so they both started with their path along the self-destruction. They knew that once they started this path couldn't go back but as long as they weren't alone then they didn't care.

In the north the man named Ryder felt a shift start happening as if the forces in the world started to become weaker. This confused Ryder as he had never felt this before so he went to go find Tyler and ask what was going on.

When he found him Tyler turn to him to say, "You look a lot better now since the last time I saw you.Are you here for the disturbance that was just felt in the energy or is there another reason that I need to know?"

"Tyler, I feel better but I am here if you know anything about the disturbance in the energy because it felt unnatural as if the world was starting to collapse. Another thing can be I have permission to leave the clan for a bit because I need to find something."stated Ryder

Tyler looked at him with suspicion to what he was trying to do but decided it would be fine as long as he came back within a set after he left. A back to the main problem at hand the energy disturbance which made Tyler's face shift as he knew things were going to end this era and commence anew.

When he told Ryder that there going to be an end of an era there was a shift in his expression as his child was still out there surviving by himself. What Tyler didn't mention was the signs were entailing this time and what are things that will happen.

The shift in eras has happened before across many different generations and when it does almost everything is destroyed in the world, but the ones that do survive end up prospering and reaching new heights.There are many things that have caused the end of an era, but none have ever been recorded as all info is destroyed.

The only thing that is remembered is that the limit of the world get removed or raised while more people gain bloodline powers.More chance to rise in power appear while the disturbance occurs and how long it occurs for is unknown to everybody except clans that see into the future which there is only two known.

Tyler knew these basic things since he was one of the heads of the clans but he didn't want others to know this info as discord and panic will ensue. Watching Ryder leaving the area Tyler watches hoping he would be okay and not do anything stupid as he was a very talented individual.

Ryder knew he needed to act quick and save his child otherwise once the end happens there is a likely chance that he will die. This worries him, so he decides it to head to most likely place he will find his child but to make sure he had to check up on another place.

When he exited the family's compound, he started flying to the east to avoid the forest as he knew he wasn't strong to decide everything there. He wanted to meet someone that his family knows very well as thank him for taking care of them.

The south there was a man sitting his chair looking at his advisors with disappointment as they knew they didn't have the useful info to report. This man was Keith and his anger with Ryan was immeasurable since he was sure Ryan knew everything.

"Gabe, I need you to write down that punishment needs to be done since these people are obviously aren't trying hard enough. Now I need to start building an army to start invading the rest of the southern continents as we need the resources head west."declared Keith.

Gabe started noting things and recording everything he was saying but what he didn't understand was the motive behind this move. Instead of asking he decided not look into it since it might get him sacked and silenced for a stupid reason.

As Keith told more things note and remind him later and in return he did his job then walk out his Keith's daughter had came to talk to him. He knew he might as well make himself scarce as the last time someone was around when Keith and his daughter was together got tortured for fun.

"Yennefer, why are you here right now? I thought you were going to go hang out with your friends in the city," asked Keith.

"Father as much as want to I feel like getting stronger is more important otherwise that bastard wouldn't have been able to get away from use. I came back to tell you that I have broken through to a level of a low magic soldier and need to stabilize."informed Yennefer.

"Honey, that's great but soon that level of measuring ourselves will be changed as things will be happening in the future. So for now I will send you more things to train with and stabilize your rank but is it okay if leave for a bit?"asked Keith.

Yennefer nodded and left with expression of happiness but with a hint of confusion as her father was acting very differently from what she remembers. She hopes that whatevers affects him will be solved so he won't have worry and can hang out more with while being happy again.

"Keith, it is time to start with the plan as you are growing a lot faster now." stated by a disembodied voice that wasn't in the room.

"Yes, I realize this as in the last couple of months I have jumped from magic General to magic Earth Slayer in this worlds term of strength. In the south continent I should be the strongest with the except from the royal families that live down here but I am sure that I can convince them to follow us."said Keith as he had a crazed look in his eyes.

"Yeah whatever Keith just remember once the event occurs nothing will be the same, so make sure your daughter is ready for the future as the younger generation is the most important." said the voice.

"OK but once you get here, can you hunt down a person because he escape a little bit back and I kind of want him to suffer a bit more for what he has done? asked Keith

"I will be bring a couple of people that could help but until then you need to have something that could be used to track him." stated the voice.

Keith heard this and felt a ton of joy as he knew he would be Ryan once again but this time it would be a last time they would see each other.

In the east the Scarlett family Charlotte who was the priestess for the family felt the shift commencing so using her powers as priestess to look into the future. What she saw horrified here to the point that it almost pushed her into shock as she couldn't handle what she was seeing.

She knew she needed to get the info to her father, so she left the shrine and started heading to where he is. She starts walking there, but it was basically a limp and since the shrine was more hidden away no one saw her limping.

When Charlotte finally got to where her father was and when he saw her he was scared that something horrible must have happened. "Charlotte, what has happened to you? You look so pale and seem like you are going to pass out? Does it involve your sister or did you check into the future and see something to you couldn't handle?"

Father, it was the latter but it's so painful to think about so I will need to transfer the information that I saw to you so I can't remember otherwise it might destroy my memory."stated Charlotte as she started to sit down.

The father was concerned, so he hurried over and went to touch foreheads to pass the info but when they started Charlotte started screaming in pain. This process when on for 10 minutes but the pain was so unbearable it kept Charlotte awake not letting her faint.

Only after it was done, she would be able to pass out from the pain but in return what her father saw scared the hell out of him. He might as well have seen the end of the world because he knew a shift was coming but what he saw wasn't a shift but decimation.

The change would only start by the world colliding with multiple other ones in which the world would expand and the people that would survive this would be people with any cultivation. This, in turn, would raise the limits of the world while also making the world more fit for cultivation.

That was the start as the others that collided would also have people that come over but another problem which was beast also coming over. If he knew anything beast work together better than people as they listen to power and usually don't backstab without power.

Chaos, wars, clans, and cultivation schools would start up in mass, but this was a given as people like to flock to others with power or would try to stay safe. What scared him was one thing he saw which was a couple of entities that were just different colors standing at the top of bodies.

One thing he could make sense was of the scene he saw was that the leader was at the very top with demonic wings with full emerald eyes. His skin was black as carbon but shined with a metallic sheen and his hair was constantly changing colors as if it had a meaning.

He was a fully bloomed lotus flower that was consuming all the blood of the corpse as if it hadn't had anything to drink for years. The number of leaves it had was about 16 petals with a black center that looked like a void consumed everything.

He felt that the flower was trying to consume his soul even though what he saw was a memory and not the actual event. When looked back at the demonic figure he saw it looking straight at him as if it knew him with a smile but the next sentences he heard scared him beyond anything he had seen.

The demonic figured turned towards him with looks that seemed unparalleled to other around his age which seemed about 20. When the figure communicated it shock the man's soul as if the demon wanted to devastate him then it would.

"My name is Fanden but some called demon, a bastard, or a god but since it is you I will allow you to address me by name genuine name. Ryan and good luck grandfather because this future will be a ride waiting to happen so buckle up and watch. As long as one doesn't try changing my past self then your daughter will be saved so just be good otherwise I might need to teach somethings."Ryan advised him.

"Also, another thing grandfather or should I address you as Owen plus make sure you encounter me in four month times at Phoenix City. Another thing doesn't let me recognize my father when he comes by because otherwise there might be devastation for no reason. Now go on and prepare the family for the worse because if the family can't handle anyone at the Divine Shift by your worlds standards then the family won't be able to survive longer than 5 years."said Ryan

When this info reached Owen he wanted to talk to Ryan but when he was about to he got kicked out the memory that had become interactive. When he went back, he was completely ignored but was left one message which was pass the memory to my past self.

Owen knew he had to perform this otherwise something might happen to him so he complied with the desires of the memory then picked up his daughter to transfer her to her bed.He ordered people to tell the family that they were going to have a meeting as this was a important time.

In the west a family can manipulate time but when they look into the future using this power they see a child at the age 10 that will come by and save their family at the edge of destruction. They don't know anything other than his looks and he saves them at the worse time but they realize they need to start bulking up their defense so they still can save as many live as possible.

The leader saw this vision and decided when they see this child that they should try to recruit him since by himself saved them.He knew he need to preserve his family but when he wanted to look further into the future it start to suck away at his lifeforce so he gave up on it.

He decided since he couldn't solely see into the future to far decided to send as many as people into time chamber to get as much training as possible. He contacted a messenger to go to inform his allies that a change was coming and they need get ready for the worse.

If they need a time chamber to be set up in there areas he will do as long as they impart something of use because of the future he saw. After he finished up you went to his son to notify him about what he saw because he desired his son to be ready or at least prepared for what the future has in store.

"Kenny, my son there is something that I must inform you about as this could affect the whole clan but I want you to happy when the time comes. I know at this time you are only seven but if retain anything I say please let it be this."the head of family pleaded with his son.

Kenny regarded his father with a goofy look on his face and replied," Ok Father whatever you say."He looked like he wasn't taking this serious but anyone who knew this is him at his most serious state.

His father knew he was being genuine, so he continued on, "There will befall a child four years from now that will arrive and preserve us from impending doom. Another thing is he will total ten years old, but we can't comprehend why or what he will be over here for but what we know his looks."

This left Kenny stunned since he perceived what his father was trying to get across, but to believe that someone so young would be stronger than his father or grandfather. This made Kenny excited to identify who this person was and since this person could become so strong at a young age why couldn't he.

That exact moment Kenny with the goofy look from the earlier look at his father asking if he could go to the time chamber to receive personal training. Causing his father to be stunned for a moment because Kenny was under no circumstances one to take matters into his own hands but decided to instruct him himself.
