Self-Destruction

As Ryan was heading to the northern forests, he meets a couple of guards that would start to hunt him down as they saw him. The closer the guards got to him his hair would form a viper and point out their direction while telling how close they were.

The first couple that approached had felt an aura that seemed like it was bloodthirsty so they thought it was most appropriate to investigate it or they might overlook something. In their mind they weren't worried because they possessed a magic device that they were all coupled to so if holes appear then it can get checked.

Once they got to the area where the aura was being emitted, they felt a sudden increase in gravity which worried them as they haven't felt this before. They decide to head back and report it but as they went to jump away they both had their hearts pierced killing both of them.

Ryan looked at their corpses and felt a new pleasure well up inside him telling him to do it more to release his anger. He looked around him to find more guards and saw no one so he left towards the forest disappointed.

The people seeing the connection between the guards notice two areas went dark due to unknown variables, so they sent signals to middle squires in the area as two middle squires had died. No one expect any of this to meaning as these were frequent occurrences which might happen due to bandits or people being stupid.

Ryan wasn't worried as the aura around him felt like it was embracing and comforting as if it was his mother but this also leads him to cry at times. When he got hungry, he would slay a few animals along the way as the forests remain a bit away but he knew that was where he had to go.

When Ryan traveled, he decided it would be most suited to tolerate the water for a while as he recalled a couple of things from his mother advising him. She planned for the worst and imparted him a general idea of where to head plus things he will need to do to survive.

He realized she had too much experience in survival as she advised him perfectly on how to produce dyes out of plants, cover up smells, which plants to look out for, how to make medicine, plus more. He knew how to read since she disciplined him at night as long as he was there on time and she was back on time.

Ryan walks farther down the river to see a cave and decides that it would best to get some rest as he had been running for a whole night. He walks into the cave to identify an orange fox but his red hair started to sense it's aura that was as strong as it was and felt threatened by it.

It conveyed that if he wants to oppose it he will have to either sacrifice himself or practically die but Ryan knew he didn't possess enough of time for that. He urged the hair vipers to go back, and he tried to retract his aura to tell the fox that he didn't want a fight with it.

As he awkwardly approached it, he saw the wonderful looking fox slowly walk towards him but it started to let a force out to frighten him away. Ryan handled this, but it didn't frighten him as it was felt it was second nature to him from his own aura so he kept walking forward slowly.

The fox saw this and was pleased, so it retracted its aura and summoned him in as if it urgent. Ryan was stupefied by this as he wasn't prepared for this change in nature but he decide it was worth it to follow the fox in to observe what it wanted.

When he entered, he saw a cub of the fox and a book laying there with an ominous black cover that felt like it was sucking his soul in. He turned to the fox and bent down to see if it desired him to help with anything as this book is something he desired.

The fox put its forehead on to Ryan's and connects its energy to his to speak to him as it considers a task for him."Mortal child I, Ithil, have a task for you and in return I will provide you this book. I know this must seem pretty dumb, and you could find a way to take the book and run but the risk is too high. So will you hear out my conditions first before we negotiate terms," demanded Ithil as she was intrigued by the smell emitting from his body as if it was familiar to her.

Ryan looked at her with surprise then spoke, "I want to hear these conditions first obviously otherwise I would be just be a slave to you."

"Mortal Child use your mind to speak not your mouth as it's quicker and less it's annoying to hear. Presently I require you to take care of my child and you must kill a certain beast for me the problem is you're too weak to do anything," berated Ithil causing Ryan to become slightly embarrassed.

"Accordingly you desire me to take your child and provide for it plus killing a beast that will annihilate me if it detects me. At this time I run a daycare and produce miracles just for business. NO! I won't fucking take care of your child just for a book why would I there is no benefit," declared Ryan.

"Geez child calm down you should accept the deal because I can offer a way for my daughter to become stronger and aid you in your endeavor. Second the person I ask you to kill isn't right away you fucking idiot instead when you can fight level 1 demonic beast. The benefit you get will be this book as it holds a lot things to support you in the future but I will say this now know what's true and what isn't," told Ithil as she looked at Ryan with discontent.

"So if I do accept how will do your daughter be of help to me. Also, how will you ensure that I don't betray you in this process or later down the line," question Ryan.

"Oh don't worry about her as you will have to feed me to her that's all. The way I will ensure it will be a heavenly contract with your blood and her blood so if anyone breaks it they will have to go through a round of tribulations by the heavens."warned Ithil to frighten him.

"Heavenly contract? Tribulation? What the hell are those words and why does my blood become riled up when it hears these words?"asked Ryan. Ithil was shocked into surprise to hear that he didn't recognize what they were so in turned explained to him.

A heavenly contract is a contract if one person goes against a rule then they are subjected to an punishment that is put into the contract. These can be used on any affair as long as they both agree and they aren't being put into it against their will.

Tribulations, in this case, is the punishment by the heavens that will look like black lightning bolts that can kill world slayer easily or level 9 demon best. There are many other cases, but lightning bolts are the most effective for multiple reasons.

"Okay, I will accept these terms with your daughter," said Ryan as he finally gave in. He sees a little bit of his own mother in Ithil as she was being protective of her daughter making sure she isn't harmed.

"Inkeri come her," yelled Ithil and as she did a snow white head popped up to greet them. Ithil slightly smiled to see her daughter and nodded for her to come over. "I'm going to entrust you with this mortal as he will encourage you to get strong enough and help you get revenge," said Ithil.

"Mother, please don't go. I don't want you to die not right now," cried Inkeri out loud as she realized her mother's time was up.

"Wait you're gonna die and didn't mention anything," asked Ryan.

"Indeed, I'm dying due wounds from many years ago as I used to be a level 1 demonic beast. That doesn't matter now so lean forwards as I pass on the aura of the target," stated Ithil. Ryan agreed to her demand as touch forehead again and the aura he felt made him freeze as if he was going dying.

While he was regathering himself due to shock Ithil summoned down the contract from the skies and willed the contents of their discussion on the contract. He glimpsed what was going on as he recovered and looked over to make sure everything was correct and injured his finger using a hair viper.

Inkeri was scared to encounter the mortal's red hair move by itself and wound him but when she looks at him again all she saw as desolation and madness. She was saw this and was very intrigued in his background as he looked normal but seemed like he is insane.

She decided it was the best to follow him as her mother advised her to since Inkeri recalled her mother's condition. Inkeri bit her paw and dropped a bit of blood on the document to show that she agrees on the conditions brought forward.

She knew the conditions must give her some benefit since it was her mother that put them forward but she didn't know what they were. Ithil didn't have time to educate her on how to read an languages but she knew there was another way so she was going to use that instead.

"Inkeri after I pass you need to devour my corpse or eat my core but the choice is yours. Mortal here remains the book that I promised for protecting my child," mentioned Ithil as she passed the book to Ryan. Ryan looked down on the book and read the title Self-Destruction what he didn't realise was that his problems just got more painful.

After this time the next time skip there will be an actual advance of a story since there has only been a set up of problems and goals.
