10 Creation
The god girl ended her Time-Freeze spell and the rock arm that was supposed to be flying towards me crashed into nothing but hard rock. The elemental giant was confused at first but quickly regained its composure after seeing that I only moved a few meters.
The aptitude that has been unknown was revealed by the girl. The god-magic 'Creation' is a type of magic that allows me to learn any type of aptitude I want. And also change between the magic attributes after the spell has been activated. Currently, the only aptitudes I have learned is iron and fire, but that'll be enough for this fight.
The rock elemental prepared another attack.
I quickly dodged the second incoming punch. Not missing the chance, I start to run up the giant's arm. "Smoke bomb!" I activated fire magic. I jumped on the giant's head, "Now then", I was preparing my new found abilities. Then suddenly I snapped my fingers, and the smoke by the giant's shoulder suddenly became a giant explosion and sent the giant's arm flying. I jumped away from the giant and while in mid-air I activated a spell, "Iron spikes!" I sent away three iron spikes that penetrated the giant's head, and then I snapped my fingers again. The three iron spikes exploded in the giant's head, and the core was successfully destroyed. Then I gracefully landed beside its remains.
"Now, I have to make sure Isao is okay." I looked around a little, ah, there he is.
"Young master! Are you okay?" Isao said while running towards me.
"Yes, I'm fin-!" Isao just hug-tackled me, and I fell towards the ground.
"Get off me, Isao"
"But I'm so glad Young Master is back!" Isao said, but luckily, he started to stand up.
"So, what happened to the rock giant?" Isao asked.
"I managed to defeat it" I answered.
"You did? That's great, now we can finally leave this hell hole" Isao said. "So, where do we go now?"
"We go to the treasury, there should be a few good items there."
"Okay! I hope I get a new dagger, the rock giant broke it" Isao seems very relieved we managed to kill the thing.
We started to walk towards the door at the end of the gigantic room. It took around 20 minutes to get there, really makes you admire how the giant passed that distance in 30 seconds.
"Finally, we're here!" Isao shouted in relief.
"But, how do you open it?" I asked.
"You could try to blow it up?" Isao suggested.
"Nah, that's a bad idea, the stuff inside might blow up," I said while examining the door.
Meanwhile, Isao was dragging his hand along the wall, until he suddenly tripped, and the door opened. "Isao, what did you do?", Isao was sitting up.
"I dunno, I was examining the wall for clues, when I suddenly grabbed something and fell," Isao explained.
"Hmm, okay, seems like something you would do," I said while proceeding through the door.
What awaited us in the treasury was an altar and several pieces of equipment that seemed to fit us perfectly, "Why isn't there a dagger here?" Isao said while sulking.
"Are you blind? There's one right there" I pointed towards a Tantõ. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tant%C5%8D)
"That's a knife?" Isao asked.
"It is a little bigger than you're used to, but it should be more effective than what you have been using up until this point.
"Alright, guess I'll try it out," Isao said and grabbed the knife and gave it a few swings.
"It's mainly used for stabbing, just so you know" I pointed out.
"Oh, OK," Isao said and started to thrust the air with it.
Meanwhile, I was searching through the treasure room looking for anything we might have missed. What we have found up until now is a spell book of earth and leather armor. Isao picked up a new bow, a few arrows, and a black robe.
After an hour of searching, I found something, I found an altar to a god. "God of Lies and trickery?" I asked myself.
"Who's that?" Isao asked.
"It's a god mainly worshiped by bandits and smugglers" I explained. "But why is his altar here?"
"Oh, look! On the altar, it says 'Congratulations on completing the dungeon! Make a wish upon the altar and I may or I may not fulfill it!' Do you think he'll do it?" Isao asked.
"I don't know, but it's worth a shot. You can go first" I said.
"OK, thanks. Ehm, god of Lies and trickery I wish for another knife!" Nothing happened, seems he didn't fulfill his wish.
"Alright let me try it then," I said. "I wish to know the location of someone," I said and started to think of Netis.
When I said that, a map suddenly appeared. I picked it up and took a look at it.
"Where is the map pointing towards?" Isao asked.
"It's a map of Greenwick, it seems to be telling me the person I'm looking for is there" I explained.
"That's so cool," Isao said.
"It is, but I'm not sure I can trust this map though. I did just ask the god of Lies for a wish" I said.
"You can hope," Isao said.
"Anyways, let's get back to the surface. I'm starting to get hungry" I said.
"How do we get out?" Isao asked.
"Through the dungeon portal. It teleports you back to the entrance" I answered and went through the portal. Isao followed after me.
When we came to the surface, Sanjo was waiting there "Congratulations! You completed your first dungeon! You used quite a bit of time inside, did something happen?" Sanjo asked.
"Err, mentor. I think the dungeon is way harder than just a mere D-Class." Isao said.
"Why do you think that?" Sanjo asked.
"Sanjo, the dungeon has 50 floors and the boss was Rank 8," I explained.
"That should be impossible! I checked it myself!" Sanjo shouted.
"The dungeon was made to trick people. It was made by the god of lies and trickery" I answered.
Sanjo sighed and said, "It's good that you managed to get out of that alive. Anyways, you guys must be hungry, let's get something to eat."
"Finally, the only thing we could eat in there was dried meat and water," Isao said.
Sanjo gave a light laugh and said, "Follow me then, I know a really good place to eat"

"Isao don't burp by the table," Sanjo said,
"Sorry, I didn't mean to" Isao replied. We have finished eating and are waiting for the bill.
"Hm?" Was it my imagination? I can swear I just saw something familiar. While looking around, a girl turned around and looked at me, she then focused her eyes on me. After looking at me for a solid 30 seconds she suddenly looked so surprised. "YOUNG MASTER!" "Oh no" The girl sprinted towards me and tackled me.
"I can't believe we are living in the same city! I'm so luuucky!" The girl that just tackled me, was "hugging" me on the ground.
"Netis, get off me," I said while struggling. Netis got up.
"Let's talk Ubel," Netis said with a happy face.

"You came here to start adventuring and studying?" Netis asked.
"And to look for you, Raz and Albert" I answered.
"May I ask, how do you know each other?" Sanjo butted in.
"I wanna know too! Master has more servants?" Isao asked.
"Err, 'how do we explain this?" Netis whispered to me.
"It's rather difficult to explain to you" I answered.
"Doesn't matter, it's not our business to find out how you guys know each other anyway" Sanjo said. "Right, Isao?"
"I guess you're right," Isao said.
We said goodbye to Isao and Sanjo, as they had business to attend to.
"Seems like you will have to come with me Netis," I said.
"I will follow you to the ends of the world!" Netis shouted.
"I know, you said that when I was 10 years old as well" I started walking out of the restaurant.
After that, I and Netis traveled to Mentor's mountain home.
"Brr, so cold!" Netis said. After she said that, the door opened.
"How did it go, Ubel?" Olleus was waiting on the other side of the door.
"It went well, but the dungeon was cursed by the god who created it," I said.
"Is that so, by the way, who's the girl?" Olleus asked.
"M-My name is Netis, c-could you be the founder of the battlemages?" Netis stuttered.
"Yes, I am, my name is Olleus, I am Ubel's mentor" Olleus answered.

I told Olleus about my hidden aptitude. He then said, "If I knew, I would've trained you in every aptitude possible!"
"Don't worry about it, I'll learn some new ones in the future" I said.
"But god-magic, never heard of it," Olleus said.
"I'll look into it, don't worry" I answered.
Olleus felt silent for a while, then he suddenly said, "Ubel, Netis. Wait here, there's something I have to do."
I and Netis sat there patiently waiting for Olleus. When he finally returned he had brought some cloth with him. He put the cloth on the table and started unwrapping it.
"You see, your growth has been exceptional, and right now, there is only one thing that can push your research further. Since I know that you have been researching the creator's book and that you are actually uncovering material. So, there is one thing I want to give you and one thing I want to say to you." the thing Olleus unwrapped was a… katana? Don't tell me…
"This thing was brought to me by an exceptional adventurer, he said he found it as an item inside a dungeon. He also said that this blade was indestructible"
"You want me to have it? Are you sure you don't want to research it?" I asked.
"Yes, I have already done all the research I can, the only thing that was unusual was the pattern embedded into it. It seems the patterns are helping the blade cleave through its enemies. And since almost all the swords you try to use, break, I thought that this blade will allow you to wield even more of your potential." Olleus explained.
"Well, then I'll accept it with gratitude. But what is this thing you want to tell me?" I asked.
"It's simple, good luck on your journey and make your mentor proud. Because from now on, you are officially a C-Class adventurer!" He said.
"Thank you, mentor, but don't you think resting is more important at the moment?" I mean, the moon is still shining really brightly.
"Ahem, that's true, you and this girl of yours go and get some rest, you can set off in the morning," Olleus said.
"Alright, Netis, we'll make preparations in the morning," I said to Netis.
"Ah, yes!" Netis said and started to follow me.
I led her to an extra room that was close to mine, "You'll be sleeping here for the night" I said.
"Got it, good night and see you tomorrow Master!" Netis said happily and closed the door.
