10 Landing

Two hours passed but it was filled with mainly sleeping from about everybody since Arkansas wasn't a sight to see, just farmland and trees: Caroline was dreaming of her and her Lover, Birdie wasnt necessarily dreaming since she stopped dreaming but she was sleeping still but when the plane started to land they hit rough spots which startled and woke up everyone . Jack was 'softly' woken up by a piece of luggage hitting him in the head , He had a frozen facial expression of pure terror, but when he saw Caroline and realized what happened and that he had just been having a nightmare. Jack smiled knowing he was safe, and everyone he loved and cared about was safe as well. Since Zeta was up for the moment Viper peaked around the corner and looked at Jack, "Are you okay, King?" Viper gasped in shock of the small bag hitting her friend.

Jack sighed and nodded " Yeah I'm fine, just a little shaken up..." he said as he rubbed the bridge of his nose in frustration with himself.

" Good, I don't need anything bad happening to you..lord knows what I would do without you." She joked, Jack Smiled and looked at Robin who looked like a scared cat but Jack smiled at her and she calmed down. " Also Robin, I forgot to tell you I love your Led Zeppelin shirt." Jack chuckled as He ruffled his niece's hair, She smiled but her smile faded when Ms.Zeta Carmichael sat back down.

It was undeniable that almost all members of ' The Snake Pit' were incredibly skittish around the godmother of the six families of the south. She had more political power than anyone the snake pit ever knew , she looked fragile, not like a flower though but more like a bomb just waiting to making everyone's lives a living hell. But anyone could see that She had fire in her veins, a Caramel Apple sucker on her lips, and some blood of sorts staining her hands even without being a poetic son of a bitch.

Anyone could hear Bernice Sigh if they were in a three yard radius and Lady in a soft pink shirt with washed out jeans cuffed at the ankles, could be seen leaning up to whisper to Bernice. Bernice sighed and made some frustrated hand motions as if she was saying that ' I cant say it since they're right there!', it then clicked in Carolines mind that Bernice and her Friend might have been talking about her and the fact she's going to bring this ALL down eventually.

after a bit the plane touched down and they were all allowed to exit , When Jack and Caroline were going to get their luggage, Zeta saw the two of the and decided to talk to them " Hello Mr.Kingston..." Zeta Hummed, as she pulled her short light brown hair away from her face.

" Hello, Ms. Carmichael, How are you?" He asked a nice tone, one that Caroline had heard when she first showed up.

" I'm rather well, I never realized you had a little wife back home.. She's rather small for someone over the age of 18." She pointed out to just embarrass the two,

Jack started coughing, " Oh lord no, this is my friend's daughter, I've been told to keep an eye on her for the time being . " He explained.

" Oh, Im so sorry for the mistake, Mr. Kingston, So Miss..what's your name?" Zeta Purred,

" C-Caroline Warren, Miss.." Caroline said shyly.

" Child,Why do you seem to fear me?" Zeta hissed as she looked at her, her blue eye just was the tip of the iceberg why she was scared of her.

Zeta , along with J.J,Akira, and Dean, had been known to give their local Police Department issues, especially with the arrests of people in their mafias. Caroline had only heard of her at meetings and from some of her friends back home, but this was something that might get her some cool points through out the department but it also could put her in some deep shit.

"I just dont like meeting new people, miss." Caroline said truthfully,

" I see, well if you're running with us you need to get used to it chick-a-dee."Zeta Sneered as she got her luggage and walked away, like a boss which technically she was, but still.

Zeta soon saw Viper and gave her a look and said something that wasnt quite audible to Jack and Caroline but Viper's face said it all, Caroline and Zeta's first interaction wasnt a good one.

" What was 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵? Do you have any idea who 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 is?!" Viper hissed as she gripped Caroline by the shoulders.

"No Ma'am, I dont know who 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 is..." Caroline whimpered

"Come on, Caroline! We've discussed this! That's Zeta Carmichael our big boss! How many times must we tell you this?" Jack sighed as He got Viper's and Robin's luggage. Robin was off with Amelia getting some form of breakfast, "Also Zeta told me to give this to you." Viper said as Caroline was handed a Caramel Apple sucker with a note that said "ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴀᴅʏ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀɢʀᴏᴜɴᴅ ꜱᴇɴᴅꜱ ʜᴇʀ ʀᴇɢᴀʀᴅꜱ".

"This really isnt good, normally people who get these have someone in their life get Murdered, Go missing or they end up getting watched." Jack sighed

" So these are pretty much a 'you best be acting right' warning? like when you're acting up in church and your mom's behind you and you don't know your life's in danger until something bad happens?" Caroline questioned.

"That's 𝘰𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘺 specific and 𝘴𝘰 random, Caroline." Jack sighed,

" Well I mean it's a shared Memory if you went to church as a kid ." Caroline admitted.

George heard this conversation , "Oh Shit, yeah, she's right: If you acted up and your Mom heard about it , you were normally a goner." He Chuckled,

" So, how does this relate to us getting the suckers from Zeta? " Viper Groaned.

" It means We're going to be in deep trouble soon, and we need to be ready for it." Jack Sighed as Caroline saved the note but started to eat the sucker.

" Caroline, its 10 in the Morning, its too early for sweets." Jack Hissed,

Caroline shot him a look of sass that screamed ' And? Does it look like I care?'
