9 Bernice.

Robin looked over at Caroline, who looked back at her as the pilot came over the intercom telling them to buckle up and hold on since they were about to take off. Robin and Caroline then looked at Jack who was looking a tad nervous as he gripped onto the arm of the chair, Caroline glanced over to him " Are you okay,Jack?" Caroline quietly asked. Jack looked over at her and softly smiled, "Yeah, I'm fine, are you good?"He asked

" Yeah, I was just checking in on you, you looked nervous... " She hummed

" That's Because I am, I'm not a big fan of flying but I'll tolerate it. "

" Oh, well thanks for doing this.."

" No Problem, Caroline, I was going to have to do this anyways..." He sighed

Jack peeked over at Robin who was looking out the window at the now half-way up sunrise, He smiled some, then sighed.

" So please tell me, are there any other people I need to avoid on this plane, we have time so it would be best to know in case of any other run-ins since it seems like we're all retreating to the same place..."

As Jack explained and pointed out all of the other mobsters, He realized how many were actually were on the same plane , it totaled to over 100 but only 10 were truly a big threat . " Not a lot of these people would be considered a 'threat' unless you are alone then they'll probably try and send a message, that you need to go back where you came from. So if things go badly and they end up in the same hotel as us we'll probably have to use the buddy system,because they wont want to be faced head on they'll want to attack from behind." Jack explained

" I see..." Caroline hummed as a taller lady with a black pixie cut walked by, Caroline about choked on her water as she realized who was sitting 15 feet away from her. It was her sister in-law, Bernice, this just made matters worse. " Okay about what I said about there only having 10 legit threats, make that 11." Jack winced, even he was scared of the lady.

Robin looked over at Jack, " I thought you and her get along?" She asked,

" I mean we do, but it's more of, ' I respect her and act nicely around her because I don't need to die soon.'" Jack sighed.

Bernice soon looked at Caroline, did a double take , looked at her again, and took a huge sip of her drink which seemed to be some whiskey. Bernice looked at her and smiled, then mouthed "How's Brodie?"

Caroline Grinned at hearing about her sweet husband , and gave her a thumbs up,and motioned as if she was asking how she was doing.

Bernice gave the so-so hand shake and a slight smile, 'meet me at the bathrooms, I just wanna catch up.' she mouthed as Caroline nodded. Bernice looked at her wrist watch and grinned, she had taken out the clock part to make it more of a locket. Inside the golden watch was a tiny picture of Caroline, Brodie, and Bernice all together and happy.

" Hey Jack can I go-" Caroline started to ask,

" Yeah, just be back soon..." Jack yawned.

Caroline got up and slipped off to the bathrooms where she met Bernice who hugged her tightly.

" I've missed you and Brodie, so what brings you on a plane with the six families?"

" May and Dean are on the plane too?" Caroline chuckled

" Yeah! May is near the back and Dean is all the way up front but he got here late so I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't see him but with that hair of his, he's pretty hard to miss." She joked then she looked at Caroline.

" So what are you actually doing here?" Bernice laughed,

" I'm here for work...Purposes....." Caroline sighed

" Oh? Well how long do you think you're gonna be gone?" Bernice asked

" By the looks of it, maybe around Christmas? Hopefully earlier... but my hopes aren't high.."

" Oh...well...Brodie told me that you two might be having to move soon..." Bernice sighed

" Yeah.... I really don't want to , I've been doing so good at the P.D., Plus it would mess up my retirement stuff...But maybe if we move we would be able to come see you and Frenchie more."

" C-can, I hug you ,because you need it?" Bernice asked softly

" Y-yeah, but I'll I have to go back soon so it isn't suspicious." Caroline sighed as Bernice gave her a big bear hug, and Caroline hugged back.

They stood there for a solid five minuets in a big hug until Caroline sighed, " Well I need to go, just leave here five minuets after me so it doesn't seem like I was talking to you since it would jeopardize my assignment.." Caroline sighed.

Bernice sighed," Alright ,well I'll tell Brodie you said 'Hi' and I guess I'll see you later..." She hummed,

" Wait before I go, what hotel are you staying at?" Caroline asked.

" I'm Staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Little Rock, What one are you staying at?" Bernice asked, Caroline gasped and smiled " I'm staying at that one too! What room are you in?" She giggled.

" Me, Frenchie, Rae, and 87 are staying in room 528, how about you?" Bernice asked quickly.

" I'm in room 347..Well at least we can meet up at the pool?" Caroline smiled as she touched up her hair one last time.

Bernice smiled, " Yeah, well I'll see you later!" She sighed as Caroline left.

Caroline sat back down at her seat and smiled softly, feeling continent but still sad since she was unable to be with her husband, that's when an Idea struck her. ' Maybe I can surprise Brodie Christmas morning by coming home,but He'll probably end up an emotional wreck if I do ...' Caroline thought as she twiddled her thumbs. Caroline smiled as she saw Bernice then sit down, it was good to know she was safe.
