6 Brent And Drew

Frances was already tired from all of the moving. She looked up at the next set and thought to herself "Am I really about to do this?"

The next set was about to start. She looked up and saw a man at the start. He was about 6'1 feet tall, had short black hair, a stubble beard, his eyes were amber, and he had on a black suit and tie. He looked very professional and very charming. He had his fake gun in his hand and he was ready to start.

Mike gave him the count of three and gave everyone a signal to start. Everyone moved at such a fast pace, it was almost impossible to keep up. The man moved swiftly through the course like it was nothing. He shot a couple of guys before he moved forward.

Once the man went into the middle of the course, Frances couldn't see what was going on anymore. But, she could still see fake bullets flying everywhere. It didn't look like he used the smoke bomb even once. He made it to the end shortly after and he passed the stage. The room, again, filled with applause and the man walked out of the course. He didn't look like he was tired at all, He wasn't sweating, gasping for air, or nothing. He looked perfectly fine.

"Good job, Brent." Mike said, he sounded very happy for him. "Please go take a seat."

"Yes, sir." Brent replied. He had a calm voice but also sounded confident.

Brent started walking towards the bench and sat at the end. Frances gave him a weird look and was about to look away but, Brent caught Frances starring and starred back with a smirk, Frances' weird look quickly turned to a disgusted look. It turned awkward for a second then Maxy broke it by pointing out the next set to Frances.

The person going up next was another man, but he was short, had to be around 5'6 ft tall, had brown hair, greenish eyes, and he was wearing a plaid suit. He looked professional as well and him and Brent looked like they were friends, as they greeted each other. Mike gave the man a signal to start and everyone dashed into the course. The man struggled a little at the beginning, he almost hit when he was trying to move forward, but somehow, he managed to exceed to the middle of the course.

Once the man got to the end of the course, he looked pretty tired. Everyone, except Frances, started clapping for him.

"Good job, Drew!" Mike exclaimed. "Take a seat on the bench."

Drew slowly walked towards the bench and sat next to Brent. They talked for a while and later on Brent looked at Frances again but she didn't notice as she was talking to Maxy.

"How many more people are there?" Frances asked Maxy.

"I don't know. Hopefully not to many." Maxy replied.

"They better hurry up, This is boring." Frances sighed as she covered her face with her hands.

"Yeah, I agree." Maxy said.

5 other people went before it was time to stop. Mike made one last announcement before dismissing everyone.

"Okay, good job everyone! We will pick up tomorrow, you all did good." Mike said.

Frances was about to leave but Mike called her.

"You should see your station. It is perfect for keeping track." Mike said.

"Alright, show me." Frances replied.

They walked down the hall and entered a room Frances hasn't been in before. Everyone in the room was working in their stations and even saw everyone who was at prep, including Maxy, Brent, and Drew. There wasn't one person in the room that was just lingering. You could just here phones ringing and keyboard keys.

"Here it is, Frances." Mike said. "Hope you like it."

It was the very first station Frances ever had and it was definitely not bad. She noticed that her and Maxy shared the same station.

"Hey." Maxy said to Frances.

"What's up?" Frances replied.

"Nothing much, you still tired?" Maxy asked.

"Nope, I'm doing alright now." Frances said.

Maxy turned to Frances' side of the station.

"Okay, well, let me show you how to do it." Maxy started.

Maxy started to show Frances how to do her work. It wasn't too complicated but wasn't so easy either. Frances could tell she has been doing it for a long time.

"Okay that's it." Maxy stopped with the instructions. "Got it?" She asked with a smile.

Frances was lost in Maxy's eyes for a short second before she could respond. She didn't know why she couldn't saying anything until she finally got it out.

"Yeah... I got it. Thanks" Frances thanked.

Maxy laughed softly and turned to her computer before Frances could see that she was blushing. They shortly started working after.

"Hey, Rookie." Brent exclaimed out of nowhere with a cup of water in his hand and a big smile on his face. "Frances is your name, isn't it?"

"Yeah, yeah it is." Frances replied.

"Cool, I'm Brent. How you likin' it in A.I.C. so far?" Brent asked.

"It's cool so far." Frances answered.

"Right right." Brent breathed. "So, you got lunch 2 O'clock right?"

"Yeah." Frances said.

"Nice! So do I" Brent exclaimed. "So... I was thinking maybe me and and can, you know, have lunch together?"

"Can't you eat by yourself?" Frances shot back.

"Aw c'mon, don't be like that!" Brent kept going. "Why not?"

"Uh-"

"Because she's eating lunch with me." Maxy turned around and blurted. "Sorry."

"You're eating lunch with Maxy?" Brent asked Frances.

"Um, yeah." Frances followed, kind of confused.

"Oh, well, my bad." Brent backed off. "Maybe next time?"

"We're eating together next time, too." Maxy blurted again.

"Next next time?" Brent kept going.

"BRENT!" Maxy shot.

"Alright, I'm sorry." Brent was still smiling, but walked off.

"We were eating together?" Frances asked confused.

"No." Maxy laughed off. "Unless, you wanted to..."

"Sure." Frances accepted. They smiled at each other again before Maxy turned back around.
