8 Chapter Seven: Mommy's Home

I opened the door, to see my mother. I froze.

"You're not going to invite me inside my own home?" She asked, before pushing me aside. I let out a sigh, and close the door. She looked a little different since I last saw her, probably from all of the botox, but no matter how different she looks, she's still the same old bat that birthed me.

"This place is a mess," she says, looking around. "I wish I couldn't say the same about you." I murmur under my breath. She walks into the living room, and spots Melissa. "You look well darling." She sits down next to her, she always did like her more than me. "You do too!" Melisa shuffles in her seat. "I'm sorry but I was just about to go, I have class tomorrow." Melissa stands up.

"Oh, well it was nice seeing you dear," My mother flashes Melissa a fake smile, as she begins walking toward the door. "It was nice seeing you too! I'll see you tomorrow Andy!"

Melissa leaves, and my mother turns to me. "I got a call from your school." Her voice is raspy and cold. "Why did you get suspended this time?"

"I got in a fight..." I say, not daring to look her in the eyes.

"Do you know how much its going to cost for me to make this go away?" She yells, "I can't keep cleaning up your messes Andy! I asked you to be good for three months, Andy. Three months! And you can't even do that. You know this could jeopardize my campaign!"

"Tsk, I'm surprised they even know you have a daughter," I say under my breath. "I've had a long day, I'm going to bed."

"Andy, wait!" she commands, as I start to walk up the stairs.

"What?" I snap, turning around.

"I'm leaving tomorrow morning, I have to go back to Washington." She said.

"Of course you are, you only bothered to come here to yell at me," I yelled, before turning around, and walking up the stairs.

"Well, I wouldn't have to if you answered your phone!" she screamed, as I slam my bedroom door.

~The Next Morning~

Melissa's ring tone, wakes me up. I let out a moan, and sheepishly grab my phone. "Hello," I say, sitting up, and rubbing my eyes.

"Andy!" she yells.

"What?! You're so loud," I say, laying back down.

"Did you just wake up?" she asks.

"Yeah, you woke me up," I say, clearly annoyed.

"I'll be there in 20 minutes, and get dressed we're going, somewhere," she hangs up, before I have the chance to respond. I let out a sigh, and get out of bed. I go down stairs, to see if my mother left yet, she has. I get cereal, before going back up stairs to take a shower. I wash off, and change into a more versatile outfit, since I don't know exactly where Melissa's going to force me go. I glance at myself in the mirror before walking out of the bathroom. I hear a loud knock at the door, knowing it's most likely Melissa, I go answer it before she starts spamming me. I open the door, and I'm immediately face to face with Melissa's brother, Evan. Who just happens to be my ex-boyfriend. "Tsk, I thought you were in Juvie." I say, stepping to the side, so they can come in.

"And I thought you'd be a wreck without me," he winks at me, "but you're still as beautiful as ever."

"He was released early," Melissa says, as she sits on the couch. "He made me bring him." Evan sits down next to her. "Never thought you'd ever cry over a boy," he says, looking around, "And your apartments messier than I remember." I send Melissa a glare, "You told him?"

"Let's talk about that later," she says, avoiding eye-contact with me. "Tsk, fine." I say, reluctantly agreeing. "Also, It's not that messy."

"Andy, your apartment looks like the inside of a trash can," Melissa says bluntly.

"Fine I'll clean it," I roll my eyes, "Glad the wonder twins are back."

"Don't call us that," Melissa whines, "And you can do that later, right now we're going to cheer you up."

"Yippy," I say sarcastically. I grab my jacket and walk to Evan's car. I get in the front seat, and Evan gets in the driver's seat, "Hey, no fair!" Melissa whines. "How come you guy's get to sit in the front!"

"Because it's my car," Evan says, starting the car, "so I get to say who sits wear,"

"But, I'm your twinnn," she cries.

"It's my car!" he yells. They bicker, the whole way to the club. "OMG, I forgot how annoying you guys are together!" I scream, as we pull into a parking spot, across the street from the club.

"We're not!" they wail in unison. We get out the car, and after showing our fake id's, we go inside the club. I walk straight to the bar, leaving Evan, and Melissa behind. "Six shots please." As the bartender pours the shots, I notice how good looking he is, he looks to be in his early to mid twenties. "There on the house," he says, winking at me. "Thanks," I walk over to the table Evan, and Melissa, got. Evan glares at the bartender from across the room, before taking a shot.

"Evan no drinking!" Melissa screeches. "You have to drive us home!"

"Relax I'll be fine," he says, taking another shot.

I grab both my shots, and down them. Evan grabs Melissa's shot, and drinks it. "Hey that's mine." she grumbles.

"Sorry, but like you said someone has to drive us home," he says, before walking over to the bar, to order us more shots.

When he came back, they started to argue. I took a shot before sneaking away to the dance floor, with a man not far behind me. "Hey," he says, starting to dance with me. "So is that guy your boyfriend?" He asks, referring to Evan.

"No my ex actually," I say, as he starts to grind on me. "Wanna get out of here," he asks, suggestively. Sadly, before I have the chance to respond, Evan comes up behind him, and grabs his arm. "No, she wouldn't," he says, answering for me, before pulling the guy away from me. I let out a sigh, before walking back to the bar. I ordered another drink, and after that everything is a blur.

~The Next Morning~

"Ugh," I whimper, waking up, my head was throbbing. I sit up, and look around. Melissa, and Evan are passed out on my bedroom floor. I get up, trying my best to walk around them, and I go down stairs to look for my phone. The house was even more of a mess than when we left for the club. There were bottles everywhere, and the furniture was ary. After a few minutes, I finally find my phone under one of the couch cushions, on the floor. I turn on my phone, to see a missed call from Jake...
