It really did suck.

Thankfully, her father had made sure that everyone steered clear of the room.

It happened to be two days since she had broken up with her boyfriend over the phone. Two days she had spent in bed, completely ignoring everyone else.
Leah covered her head with the blanket that she was covering her body with the moment she heard the knob of the door. Someone had come in.
Heels clicked over the floor, and she knew that it was her mother.
"Leah, baby?" The bed dipped on the side as her mother sat down. "Are you okay?"
Yep, it was her mother and she had finally broken away from the restrictions her father must have placed on her.
