Vivian was inside a room and checking every wall and furniture to make sure that there were no trap doors, peepholes, listening devices, or cameras -- if such things even existed.

She also made to sure lock every window and cover them with.

And after she was done, she went over to the lounging area where the metal slab for practicing Magic Art was located and sat down on the floor. 

Maybe I should buy a house…

Or perhaps I should rent my own room at the compound…?

Yeah…

If I were to buy a house, it should at least be big and I should be able to hire some guards... 

Because if not, I would just be bombarded with visitors and people who want to watch my every move…

So that would take me 30 minutes to recover 20 mana points… 

And now that I have [Halo] which also boosts my mana recovery, it would take me 1 minute to recover 1 mana point…

So that would take me 20 minutes to recover 20 mana points… 

But what if I add [Greater Origin Enchant] on [Halo]…?

She recalled the [Lightning Arrow] she amplified with [Greater Origin Enchant] earlier this afternoon.

The enchantment made the arrow 4 times bigger compared to a normal arrow… 

Does this mean my [Halo] would also be amplified 4 times…? 

And if it does, how much mana would I recover per minute…?

She tried calculating inside her head.

As soon the golden halo started to manifest on her back, the dark-red lightning immediately began to start crawling from her hand to her back. And when the halo finally absorbed all of the lightning, it grew up to 4 times bigger that it looked like there was a giant golden portal behind Vivian, illuminating the entire room.

She cast another spell.

[Lightning Arrow].

Pscht!

An arrow made out of lightning shot out from her palm and hit the metal slab in front of her before finally disappearing.

She quickly opened the Status Panel to check how fast her mana was recovering.

Earlier this afternoon, she managed to level up the Body Art of her [Fist] and [Savage Mastery].

And as for her [Lightning Mastery], she didn't bother to level it up because she was short of time.

Vivian observed how many mana points she was recovering.

Her eyes suddenly became wide.

She finally noticed the changes in her Race and Age, specifically the former.

She covered her mouth and stared blankly at the screen.

She closed the Status Panel and went over to the bathroom.

When she got to the bathroom, she yelped in surprise.

"What the hell?!"

She was aware that the [Greater Origin Enchant] made her [Halo] skill 4 times bigger.

But to see her reflection in the mirror, it was a different feeling to see the huge golden halo behind her as if it were a giant portal.

"I look… so holy…"

She then shed all of her clothes and inspected her naked body -- from top to bottom. 

There were no obvious changes except for one.

I really became pale...

Too pale if I were to be honest...

Although Vivian was white, she wasn't this pale or looking anemic before unlocking the [Greater Origin (Greater Chaos) Mastery] that she could see the veins on her body -- her neck, chest, forearms and legs.

Fortunately, my veins are flat...

Had they been bumpy, I would've freaked out and wouldn't know what to do...

Vivian smacked her lips which were painted with light-red lipstick.

Even my lips were so close to being purple that I looked like a corpse...

She tried to recall the face of the demon bandits.

She stepped closer to the mirror and inspected her eyes if there were any changes and her mouth if she developed sharp teeth or something monstrous.

She stepped back and looked at her thin, fit and abnormally pale body.

She raised her chin to check her neck.

My face is a bit darker compared to the rest of my skin due to the exposure to the sun…

However, I can still see the veins on my neck crawling to my chin and jaw…

She tried posing like a model and smiled.

A dark expression suddenly appeared on her face.
