Grayson gritted his teeth, headbutting Captain Marvel and turning to kick him away as the latter crept behind him, attempting to restrain him. He didn't get the time to breathe easy as Black Adam flew at him and punched him in the face.

He flew back, spitting the blood pooling in his mouth as he brandished his axe and cut down the branches flying toward him, only to duck under a high kick from Mary Marvel.

He didn't give her a second glance as a cluster of sentry drones lunged at her and exploded, sending her crashing into the ground. Instead, he scanned the area and quickly found Isis.

He dodged another attack as Captain Marvel returned for more and swung his axe at the latter's shoulder, channeling his energy into the weapon and freezing the hero as he took off, speeding toward Black Adam's wife.

He barely flew a couple of meters before Black Adam got in his way, but the latter was in control of his actions and more than capable of reacting to Grayson's attacks.

Black Adam quickly dodged back as Grayson attempted to catch his wrist and throw him away. He channeled lightning into his hands and shot a continuous stream arc of electricity toward Grayson.

Grayson maneuvered in the air to dodge the attack, ultimately leading Black Adam to electrocute Mary Marvel, who had just recovered from the blast, but she merely shrugged it off.

The young man turned to her, raising his axe as he prepared to swing, but Captain Marvel came to the rescue as he tackled him away from Mary Marvel, straight toward Black Adam.

Grayson couldn't help but curse as he rained punches on Captain Marvel's head and back, but the latter was nothing if not persistent and durable as he refused to let go of his death grip.

If he could help it, Grayson didn't want to harm Captain Marvel anymore than he had to. But as he noticed the intense lightning dancing around Black Adam's fist and felt the obscene amounts of energy radiating off his body, he had no choice but to be heavy-handed.

"Sorry, kid," Grayson said with a grimace as he raised his fists above Captain Marvel's, radiating an intense golden hue as he brought them down.

Captain Marvel's body instantly went limp, likely suffering a concussion as he let go of Grayson. But the latter didn't let up as he caught the hero's head and channeled energy into his brain before throwing him away.

Black Adam didn't seem intent on watching the show in silence as he lunged at Grayson. Though he was a fraction of a second too late to help Captain Marvel, he still took advantage of the young man's distraction to land his attack.

The former champion's fist connected to Grayson's chest, and the latter's eyes widened as he felt several ribs break upon impact and his left lung turn into mush.

Grayson violently coughed as he flew back, and Mary Marvel was waiting for him as she kicked him in the back, causing blood to spew out of his mouth before she punched him into the ground.

He gritted his teeth through the pain, rolling aside as Black Adam came crashing foot-first into the ground, creating a crater and sending lightning flying all over the place.

Lying on his back, Grayson grunted as he joined his hands together and unleashed a destructive stream of pure energy that blasted the former champion away.

"Kamehame-fucking-ha, bitch!" Grayson said, smiling grimly with blood leaking out of the corner of his mouth as he jumped to his feet to dodge several vines crawling out of the ground.

He didn't get very far as an arc of lightning hit him in the head, and Mary Marvel charged him, bringing her elbow down on his shoulder. "Get the fuck off me, you crazy bitch!" Grayson said as he endured the pain and gripped the heroine's wrist, slamming her into the ground.

Ultimately, Grayson could no longer hold back. It showed as he straddled the heroine's stomach and violently rained punches on her face, each swing sending streams of blood everywhere.

Mary Marvel didn't even grunt or flinch as Grayson kept pounding her head into the ground, confounded and confused as she was by the dark energies possessing her mind.

Grayson didn't care and didn't react to her blank expression either, even as thorny vines and branches whipped at his back, and the former champion tried to pry him off.

He only moved away when Mary Marvel stopped moving, but he had to pay a heavy price to take her out of the fight as he suffered multiple injuries, so much so that his healing factor was barely keeping up with the damage.

And by the time he took care of the heroine, Captain Marvel rejoined the fray as Isis removed whatever illusion he cast on the hero's mind to keep him off his back.

"There's no fucking end to this..." Grayson said, coughing blood into his hand. The young man raised his wrist to wipe the blood off his face but stopped, bitterly smiling as he noticed his clothes were drenched red from top to bottom.

His foes didn't seem to be in the mood to mince words or give him time to recover as the two champions, former and current, instantly lunged at him, supported by Isis, who refused to show herself.

The fight resumed, and the battle slowly shifted in Black Adam's favor as he and his allies outnumbered Grayson, even as the drones desperately attempted to support their master and search for Isis, burning down every plant in their way.

Ultimately, the machines were no match for powerful opponents. Their uses were limited when fighting people who could rip steel into shreds, no matter how many times Grayson repaired them with his energy.

Grayson decided to cut his losses and had the drones join together to create the sentry titan, and it managed to buy him enough time to heal some of his injuries before the two champions and Isis managed to destroy it.

The three of them then shifted their attention back to Grayson, and the injuries he managed to heal immediately began accumulating all over again, bringing him back to square one.

Still, Grayson didn't seem intent on stopping anytime soon as he fought with no signs of tiring, still shouting angry curses and obscenities at the top of his lungs without stopping despite the accumulated injuries.

He eventually depleted his energy which seemed nigh endless. But he didn't stop as he relied on his almost- infinite stamina and considerable physical strength and continued punching, kicking, and cursing even as he landed fewer hits and took more as the fight continued.

He looked more like a beast than a man, covered from head to toe in blood, as he was, but his movement and fighting style remained immaculate as he put his martial arts skills to full use.

Grayson didn't give the two champions a chance to catch their breath even as he desperately gasped for air himself, but even if the spirit was willing, the flesh was aware of its limitations.

After more than two hours of fighting with all his strength and little energy to spare, Grayson ran out of stamina, and he could only block the endless barrages of attacks.

Grayson's arms eventually failed, falling limply to his sides. Still, he seemed more pissed than anything else as he glared at the two champions, who had to stop and catch their breaths.

His glare finally relaxed as he smiled strangely and turned to the rock of eternity when he felt a burst of energy coming from the surrounding mystical mists.

"Fucking finally..." Grayson said with an exhausted sigh as a blinding flash of light appeared, and a red line came speeding towards him, moving him away as Black Adam tried to charge him.

Another flash of white light appeared as a gigantic man with a long beard in baggy ropes appeared behind the rock of eternity, towering over it as he stared everyone down with glowing orbs full of fury.

"The world's fastest man, my ass..." Grayson grumbled, unfazed by the giant's appearance as he gave Flash the stink eye. "What the fuck took you so long...?" He added as he used the last vestiges of his energy to heal his arms and push the speedster away as the latter tried to support him.

"You're lucky I even bailed your ass out there..." The Flash said, returning Grayson's glare. "I didn't forget you tried to kill me, you know," He added, crossing his arms.

Before Grayson could reply, Black Adam flew into the air and attempted to charge them, causing Flash to go stiff as he prepared to fight back, but it never happened.

"ENOUGH!" The Wizard exclaimed, causing everyone to freeze as if time had stopped.
