Wasn't This Interesting?

The receptionist hesitated when she saw the look on Ye Qing Xin's face. She glanced at her friend from the corner of her eyes, hoping that they would help her with this situation.

However, her movement was not unnoticed by Ye Qing Xin.

Ye Qing Xin sneered, seeing that the people in front of her were daringly exchanging a gesture. She stood up straight and tilted her head, posing a domineering look. "If you don't want to lose your job, then, you should all go back to your work now." She swept her gaze around the area, challenging those people around to make a move.

The receptionist's face turned pale at Ye Qing Xin's words and gaze.

She did not have the intention to go against Ye Qing Xin. However, after the accident, Vice President Jiang mentioned that the President won't be coming to the office and she will be taking over the company's matter.

In the past few weeks, the receptionist had heard from her friends that there was going to be a big shift in the company.

The higher-ups often met for a long meeting and this was enough to give everyone a hint that a big change was about to happen to the company soon.

Swiftly, the receptionist stepped aside to let the siblings move forward.

Ye Qing Xin flashed a satisfied look. "Don't do anything unnecessary. I'm only here to look around. You don't need to make a fuss." Then, she glanced at her sister and the two of them walked to the elevator to head up to her office.

The receptionist could only watch Ye Qing Xin leave. She hesitated, wondering if she should call Vice President Jiang's assistant and tell them that President Ye had arrived.

However, when she thought about the look on Ye Qing Xin's face earlier, the receptionist decided not to give them a head up.

The company might be under Vice President Jiang's management recently. However, the company still belonged to President Ye. It was better not to offend a big person such as President Ye.

Once the elevator door shut down, Ye Qing Luo looked at her sister with adoration.

It was the first time she had seen her sister being this fierce.

"Why are you looking at me?" Ye Qing Xin asked, noticing that her little sister has been staring at her after they both got into the elevator.

"Sister, I just thought that you looked awesome just now!" Ye Qing Luo gave her sister two thumbs up. "So fierce!"

Her answer made Ye Qing Xin chuckle. "What is it? Have I never behaved like this before?"

"Of course, not," Ye Qing Luo spoke. "I rarely come to your company to take a look."

The number of times she had visited her sister's company could be counted on one hand. After all, she was still studying and she often spend her time at her university.

If it was not because she was on a break, Ye Qing Luo would not be able to stay by her sister's side at this time.

A faint smile appeared on her face. "Then, next time, you can come to the office to look around." Ye Qing Xin patted her sister on the head.

Previously, she was all alone. But now, she had a little sister who loved and adored her. The feeling was quite good.

Ye Qing Xin could not help but remember that she still have an elder brother that she had never met. She could not help but be curious about her relationship with her brother.

After her accident, her elder brother had never visited her once. It made Ye Qing Xin wonder if her relationship with him was not that good.

Ding!

The sound of the elevator snapped them out of their trance.

Ye Qing Xin walked out of the elevator and headed straight up. She did not know this building well and could only follow her instinct.

Her brow furrowed. Ye Qing Xin began to notice that the further she walked, the more painful her headache seemed to be.

This feeling was similar to that time when she saw the office building earlier. But, it seemed that the pain was getting worst.

The only thing that would help ease the pain in her head was her sister's chattering voice.

Ye Qing Xin thought that it was a good thing that her sister was coming along with her.

Along their way, Ye Qing Xin did not forget to take note of the surveillance camera around her office.

Soon, they reached the office area.

A staff saw them and quickly stood up from her place. "President Ye! What are you doing here?"

Ye Qing Xin did not miss the panicked look on the staff's face. Her eyes narrowed, wondering just why would everyone start to panic when they see her at the office.

Moreover, Ye Qing Xin did not miss the staff's loud voice. It was as if she was trying to announce her arrival to everyone in the office.

"It has been a while since I visited," Ye Qing Xin said. "What's wrong? Why can't I be here? Is this not my company?"

"That is not what I mean." The staff lowered her head. Her gaze shifted to the left at Vice President Jiang's office.

A few seconds later, the door swung open and Jiang Liang Chen stepped out of the office. She looked at Ye Qing Xin and could not hide her surprise.

"Xin Xin!" Jiang Liang Chen looked her friend up and down. "Why are you here? Why didn't you tell me that you are coming?"

"I come here to look around." Ye Qing Xin said. "What's wrong? Why is everyone panicking when they see me?"

Jiang Liang Chen flashed a smile. "Xin Xin, it has been a long time since you come. If I know that you are coming, I would prepare to welcome you at the entrance."

Ye Qing Xin observed her friend's expression. Then, she leaned over and whispered, "You know about my condition. The doctor said it would help me to remember if I visit familiar places."

"So, that's why you're here." The smile on Jiang Liang Chen's face turned casual. She held Ye Qing Xin's arms and led her to another side. "Xin Xin, let me take you to your office first. Then, we'll continue to talk. Coincidentally, I have some matters I need to discuss with you."

Ye Qing Xin nodded. She released Jiang Liang Chen's arms around her arms and followed her friend while keeping her eyes on her surrounding. She deliberately let her sister walk closer to her friend while she trailed after them slowly.

Just as she was about to enter her office, Ye Qing Xin caught sight of a figure leaving Jiang Liang Chen's office. She was about to turn around and look when a voice called her name.

"Xin Xin."

Ye Qing Xin turned around to see that Jiang Liang Chen was looking at her with a smile.

"We are here."
