Su Ming Yuan Felt a Bit Silly

Su Ming Yuan stared at his phone screen in disbelief.

He has been trying to reach his girlfriend since morning. However, other than replying to his usual morning text, Ye Qing Xin had not said anything else to him.

A few hours ago, he tried to reach Ye Qing Xin but found out that her number could not be reached. 

But what's more surprising to him about this phone call was that this would be the first time that Ye Qing Xin was willing to talk to him after the day she went back to her parent's house.

His heart was beating fast.

Su Ming Yuan held his phone tightly as he swept his finger on the screen. He pressed the phone to his ear anxiously and spoke, "Xin Xin?"

There was a long silence on Ye Qing Xin's part.

Su Ming Yuan had to check again to see whether the phone call was connected. 

"Su Ming Yuan?"

The look on his face turned softer the moment Su Ming Yuan heard his girlfriend's familiar voice.
