1 My Crazy Friends

"LEROY JOHN COLLINS UNIVERSITY"

Chelsca makes a hasty step to get into her class on time.

The bell rang just the moment she entered the audio room.

'That was close!' She sighed with relief after beating the bell.

"Girl, where have you been?" Anna shot her a question the moment she reached her seat. She was giving her a teasing stare.

"Why you'd asked? You knew already." Chelsca replied in a hushed tone into Anna's ear. Then, the latter giggled.

"So, how's your weekend?" Lydia turned her head to gossip with them.

Chelsca rolled her eyes. She can't believe they became her friends.

The three girls around her giggle, including May Lin.

"Did you enjoy our birthday present?" Keida chimed, seated above them. She winked at Chelsca, anticipating her reply.

Chelsca looked over her shoulder and rolled her eyes. "I can't believe all of you are my friends!"

Chelsca wanted to continue speaking up, but their professor was already in front of the room and began discussing their lesson without greeting his class.

The professor is known that way anyway. Thus, they face the front and gaze at the monitor.

After a couple of hours, their first class finally ended, so her friends started teasing her again.

"Hurry, tell us what happened!" Anna rushed to her side, put an arm around her waist, and then asked excitedly.

"Stop! I don't want to talk about it! I have my next class! See you guys later, okay?!" Chelsca has to leave her friends immediately. Otherwise, they will never stop teasing her if she stays longer.

She walked without looking around her. She has no interest in checking out everyone's faces she meets on campus anyway.

Well, she is not interested in every popular guy at the university. Or care about those rich girls now and then changing their cars and expensive purses. Not to mention the designer clothes they were wearing.

All she cared about was not to bump into someone in the hallway or the campus pathway. Many crazy students like the basketball team or the rugby boys think they own the school grounds. She just rolled her eyes behind those glasses.

Yeah. That's me—the ordinary girl on the campus. I was wearing baggy clothes, regular shoes, books around my arms, messy hair, and thick glasses.

And this isn't the kind of Cinderella Story. You'll find out more!
