1 Reflection

"So how'd you actually get into this position?" This question was one I had to think hard about. She was young, innocent, and had a pension for my "stories". No matter what I told her, she never thought that it actually happened. She would just have this expression of giddiness on her fair skinned face. She always had this innocence about her. You could see it in her deep hazel eyes.

I didn't answer until, "I'm talking to you Jordan."

"Oh, shit, my bad." I finally answered, "So you wanna hear how I became CEO for the tenth time in a row?"

"Uh, duh. Come on, we're a quarter till, we'll be fine."

"Alright, so it started like-"

I told her about how ten years ago, when I was sixteen, I started making my money dealing Marijuana, but the underground trading wasn't enough for me. So, I decided to combine my Marijuana ventures with a small tech business I had just started called EKN.

To make my deliveries in 2022, I designed a new 2 capsule crate protected by a carbon fiber coating. In order to open the second and concealed capsule of the crate, you would need a special electronic key that binds itself to the fingerprint of anyone who owned the crate.

This would allow me to make secret shipments across seas in concealment as thousands of micro processors designed by my tech team. I would hire a trustworthy team of advisers to oversee the illegal shipments. I assigned each officer a key to the secondary compartment in order to show the recipients their product.

In 2025 I began to acquire government contracts while at the same time build my own private military. Hence forth, EKN became a tech company, a massive underground drug manufacturer, and a military arms dealer. My organization started to attain a global presence.

2027 was a big year for both me, and EKN. It was the year I became the richest man in the world with a net worth of 672 billion dollars. It was also the year that Jeddah Tower was completed, and EKN started the challenge of overtaking Jeddah tower with the tallest building in the world.

With EKN's massive government backing along with the technology we've brought to the world, we complete the 3 mile tall EKN Corporate HQ in about a year and a half in Houston, Texas.

In 2029, EKN bought out SpaceX and started mass producing spacecraft for civilian use. But it wasn't only a business venture. We had started launching spy satellites in order to find and report the Space Force's fleet of THOR satellites.

"-and that brings us to today"

"Pfft, BAHAHAHAHA"

"I knew you'd laugh"

"Yeah, cause if any of that illegal shit were true, you'd be gone, way gone"

I responded in a sarcastic tone,"What, you don't believe I could be this supervillain character?"

She responded back in a sarcastic voice, "Oh no, me, helpless Vicky Carter, stuck as the assistant to you, Jordan Schafer, a supervillain!"

"When you put it that way, it does sound preposterous"

The alarm from my phone started ringing, and I stated, "Welp, it was a good time seeing you, Vic, have a nice weekend!"

"You too, bye!"

As the large glass door shut behind her, leaving me to my own devices in my huge marble floored office, I turned the glass tint all the way up. I did this to hide myself. I then locked the door and called up my elite corps.

"What's the 6 sir?" A gruff man responded.

"Initiate operation Ash" I muttered

There was no noise for 30 seconds, then he just replied, "Yes sir." before hanging up.
