7 Years?

They both left the house after bidding goodbye to Annie and drove out. Sam was so nervous that her hands started sweating and she kept her gaze concerned on the passing by scenarios outside.

She could feel his eyes on her once in a while which made the tip of her ears turn red. She tried hard to ignore him but no avail. She turned around and caught his eyes staring right at her just as she thought.

"Stop drooling" she said giggling.

"Stop being so mesmerising" he retorted back with a seductive smile. She felt her cheeks turn hot and averted her eyes to look outside.

He shook his head letting out a chuckle seeing her behavior and continued driving.

The car sped past through buildings and tress. There was a complete silence in the car but both of them didn't find it uncomfortable. They felt in peace that they never felt before with other people in their lifes.

"Where are we going?" Sam asked when she saw they were about to cross the city border.

"Many places" he answered with a grin.

"Huh?" she was frozen by that grin and felt like she was about to be absorbed into that dark black eyes of his. She shook her head to put an end to her ridiculous thoughts and turned on the radio.

"Hey! Hello! Welcome to this brand new show hosted by your favorite Queenie Williams"

A sweet voice of a woman started to echo the moment she turned it on.

"This is a simple program just for those who want to be with someone but can't. You can open your heart to me so that I can deliver it to your beloved. Haha."

"Okay, let's see who we have here first."

"Hi, Iam Thomson"

"Hello, Thomson. Who is your love and why can't you say it to her."

"She is one of my neighbors. We used to play together almost everyday and it kind of became a habit, like I can't call it a day without meeting her."

"Ohh! Cheesy. So what happened? Why can't you say it to her?"

"She moved. Her father got transferred to another city. I didn't see her for 7 years now."

"OMG!! And you're still waiting. She is one lucky girl. So Thomson, use this chance to express your feelings maybe she'll return to you when she listens to this."

"Priya, Come back. Come back to me and I'll cherish you for the rest of our lifes. And I swear I won't make fun of the names you named your dolls. You can even name our kids as long as you came back to me, I'll do anything my dear."

"That's so manly, making promises that looks silly to others but everything to her. I hope you guys can get together and wish you a life filled with happiness, love and laughter."

Sam was dumbstruck listening to the young man talk.

'7 years? Is there still a guy like him exist in this world'

"If your thinking 'Are guys like him exist?' Yes, they do exist." Ben said with a proud look.

Sam didn't know how he can read her mind always but felt sweet inside because there is one person whom she didn't want to explain everything.

The program continued and many one side lovers poured their heart out and it was about wrap up when a call came in.

The call was simple.

"Hey I am Priya. Can you give me Thomson's number?"

Ben laughed out loud thinking about the guy's good luck while Sam was awestruck.
