Chapter 275: Good Luck (Bonus Chapter)

"The key to the evidence room, who has seen it? Why isn't it in its designated place?"

Upon hearing Cui Jie's question, the on-duty police officer immediately responded, "The key to the evidence room was taken by Abin in the evening and hasn't been returned. Maybe he forgot."

"This guy is simply violating discipline."

After cursing in his mind about the key being taken and not returned, Cui Jie left the office and approached Li Zhongzhi, who was sitting in the rest area. 

He apologized, "I'm sorry, Zhongzhi. The key was taken home by a police officer. You can come to pick up your things tomorrow morning. It's getting late now; you should go rest."

"Tomorrow, I promise that if you come in the morning, you'll definitely get those things."

Seeing that it was indeed impossible to get his daughter's belongings tonight, Li Zhongzhi gave up. 

He approached Charles and the others, saying, "Mr. Charles, I can't get my daughter's personal items tonight. We'll have to wait until tomorrow morning."

"Okay, tomorrow morning it is. But we can't afford to delay any longer. The more time we waste, the worse it is for your daughter."

"Let's go, take a rest, and come over tomorrow."

Charles took Li Zhongzhi, and they got into the high-end car, heading straight to the continental hotel.

Seeing Li Zhongzhi and the others leave, Cui Jie received a call from his father-in-law and went straight to his father-in-law's house.

His father-in-law was the chief of the police station. When he saw his father-in-law sitting in the living room, Cui Jie sat directly on the opposite sofa.

"Dad, is Tingting asleep?"

Upon hearing the report from his subordinate, Nick Fury pondered for a moment before speaking:

"Have you found out why he went to Bangkok?"

"Because it's difficult to install any surveillance devices near the agency, it's a bit challenging to investigate. However, based on the surveillance from other routes, we've still come to a conclusion."

At this point, the agent presented a photo, and Li Zhongzhi appeared on it.

"This person is a Hong Kong police officer. Recently, his daughter went missing in Bangkok, Thailand, and after reporting to the police, there were no results."

"According to the call records we retrieved, it was his friend who advised him to go to Charles agency to commission a task to find a solution."

"And at the New York airport, airport staff did confirm that he boarded the private plane of the High Table along with Charles Doyle."
