261 Chapter 260: Resurrection Spell (Bonus Chapter)

Charles followed Parker to the front door of the penthouse.

Staring at the closed door, Charles kicked it open.

"Boom!"

The door was sent flying. Parker rushed into the room first, and Charles followed suit. In the hallway entrance, Charles saw the trophies related to Drake placed on the floor.

Parker entered the study and stopped at the door. Charles, seeing this, walked over.

"This is where the scent disappeared."

Hearing Parker's words, Charles nodded. He then said, "You can go back now, Parker. I'll handle the rest."

Parker nodded, then directly returned to the summoning realm.

Now, Charles stood at the door of the study, looking inside. He saw a massive mirror lying on the floor in the study.

Observing the scene, Charles thought for a moment, understanding what had happened.

Charles aimed his Dragon Ring at the mirror in front of him, then waved his hand, controlling the mirror to float in the air.

As the mirror flipped over, Charles brought Balthazar from inside to the mirror.

Balthazar, seeing Charles appear outside the mirror, sighed and said, "Just find another mirror, and I can come out."

Charles directly took out a full-body mirror from the storage space and placed it in front of the mirror inside. The two mirrors reflected each other.

Released from captivity, David stood to the side, panting heavily.

"Teacher, senior brother, Maxim attacked me in the school bathroom..."

Balthazar directly interrupted, "There's no time now. Maxim is going to release Morgana and we need to go immediately."

After Balthazar's words, he walked downstairs. Charles patted David's back and reassured, "Don't worry, things will pass."

David nodded and followed Charles down.

Balthazar stepped on the gas pedal, and the car sped away.

Meanwhile, Maxim arrived at his desired location. He placed the matryoshka in the center of the magic circle. Then, he asked Drake, "Are the antennas on the rooftop arranged?"

"Already arranged, and there's no mistake," Drake replied.

Maxim nodded. He pointed his wand at the matryoshka, and after a surge of magical power, the outer layer of the matryoshka ignited.

A young female mage dressed as a nun emerged. She looked at Maxim and said, "Thank you for saving me, Arch Mage Horvath."

Maxim, looking at the member of Morgana and Drake, said, "Your tasks is to guard this place. Do not let anyone approach."

"Yes!"

Initially, Maxim planned to absorb their magic and resurrect Morgana himself. However, Charles's strength, unexpectedly, made him change his mind. Now, he had to let these two stall them for a while.

Maxim looked at the matryoshka in front of him. Pointing his wand at it, magical power flowed into it.

"Rise from death."

With the continuous influx of magical power, the next second-

"Boom!"

The lid of the matryoshka burst open, and a black liquid, like venom, sprayed out and gathered into a humanoid figure.

Looking at the woman who appeared in front of him, Maxim exclaimed, "Veronica!"

Veronica slowly opened her eyes and then spoke with an icy tone, "It's me, Horvath, Morgana."

"Don't look so disappointed."
