117 Chapter 117: Assassination (Bonus Chapter)

"Lord Charles, this lady visited the agency this afternoon and assigned a mission, but now it seems she might have been here for reconnaissance," Shizune explained.

Hearing that she had come for reconnaissance, Charles looked at the woman in red who was now on the ground and murmured to himself, "Erica, in red?"

Upon seeing Urushi, Charles thought of someone else – Kakashi Hatake.

Charles opened one of the boxes in front of him, revealing a section of Dragon Bone, and said, "Urushi, try to see if you can detect any scent from this."

Urushi approached and sniffed the Dragon Bone, then leaped onto a rooftop to begin distinguishing the scent.

After a few seconds, Urushi jumped down from the rooftop and returned to Charles, reporting, "Lord Charles, the scent from this bone is very distinct. Apart from this location, there are two other places with this scent, and the other two places are very close, practically next to each other."

Charles nodded and then turned to Iruka, saying, "Iruka, follow Urushi and retrieve the other two portions of Dragon Bone for me."

"Yes, I promise to complete the mission."

Iruka immediately responded loudly when he saw that Charles had entrusted him with such an important task.

"Go quickly and return swiftly. If you encounter other hand leaders on the way, you don't need to bring them back. Just execute them on the spot."

Charles already knew the locations of the Dragon Bone pieces, so there was no need to bring Bakuto and the others back for execution.

"Swoosh!"

The figures of Iruka and Urushi turned into blurs as they disappeared instantly.

At the scene now, only Charles and Shizune remained.

Charles didn't avoid Shizune's gaze. Instead, he picked up one of the Dragon Bone pieces, and the system's recharging sound rang in his mind again.

Seeing Charles looking around, Shizune furrowed her brows slightly and suggested, "Lord Charles, maybe you should take a break over there while I clean up the battlefield."
